What a place to go for the weekend , Solaris was so beautiful, hot tub has a great view of outside, such a big place and you have three different living areas, very private and noise doesn’t go out at all. Keith is an excellent host , very active and always ready to help. He cleaned out the hot tub for us after day 2 for our third day stay ,which he again gave us for a discount. Overall this is added as my fav and the host is one big reason for it .

We are so thankful to have stayed at this beautiful waterfront house. The host thought of anything and everything that would be needed for our stay and went above and beyond to take excellent care of us. I would highly recommend staying at this location, or any of our hosts other locations. We can’t wait to come back and are looking forward to our next vacation at the Mermaid House.

Long weekend with great weather in late October. Great property and location right on Bay with dock/patio and wonderful views. Plenty of room, everything updated/works, and communication with owner effortless. Located on water towards end of street so very quiet and no traffic...if renting in Summer would be another plus. Plenty of room inside, open floor plan w/kitchen well designed, and large covered sitting area plus open deck outside sliding glass doors. We had a great experience and would stay here again w/o hesitation.

The Nautical Perch is beautiful and peaceful. It is a tidy, well decorated and clean house with plenty of outdoor entertainment space. It is really neat to be in one of the few houses of such a large nature area (the bird life is amazing and it’s fun to watch the tides on the little river) and yet be so close…15 minutes…to Long Beach Island.

Our weekend was perfect. Joseph was so kind and told us right away everything we were curious about. The only expression that comes to mind is the house on the sea. We all fell in love with the fantastic view. In the back sea, we enjoyed fishing and caught a small fish and two crabs on the last day :) We will visit again with our friends soon.

Overall it was a great stay. It’s a beautiful property on the canal. Very spacious and tasteful decor with a warm comforting feel of home away from home. We were 7 people and everyone slept comfortably. It is only 12 minutes from the beach and LBI which is very convenient and were provided with 4 beach passes. Mary Ann was flexible with check out which was very appreciated. I would love to stay again but I do want to point out three things. They do not provide basic toiletries and towels like most B n B’s. Secondly, since it’s on the canal, there are lot of mosquitoes so make sure to pack some repellants or bug sprays. Although, we did find some only the day we were leaving. Lastly, the township requires a notarised tenant rental agreement but we found out about it only after booking the place. It would be nice to know about something like this in the listing as this can be a hassle for some.

Very Cute beach house, with great back yard right on the water way. House was very clean and had nice amenities. Though we were there in the off season the area is lovely and was a very walkable neighborhood. Very accessible to shopping in one direction and the Long Beach Island towns on the beach in the other direction.

The house looked exactly as it did in the pictures. It was perfect for my family. The bedrooms were perfect and clean. The location was great as it was so close to the beach. And finally, the host was lovely and accommodating.

The main suggestion is to have a welcome binder or something to help the guest navigate the house. How to start the fireplace? Internet password? What is expected when leaving the house such as cleaning, empty garbage, strip bedding, wash towels, dishes etc.
