We had a great stay at Benjamin’s house. Comfortably accommodated 7 adults and 4 children. Benjamin’s communication was excellent throughout. The house is lovely and the photos don’t do justice to the amount of space. Very well equipped. Bakewell town centre is under 5 minutes walk away. Playground and pub also very close. Located on a quiet cul de sac with enough space on the drive for three cars. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was homely with everything you need. The Lord Nelson pub was just perfect with some very friendly locals and a great pint! Ingrid and Ric were thoughtful hosts who provided us with useful local information and a pint of milk to make a cup of tea at the end of a long journey! A lovely village and an amazing cottage.

We enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable and relaxed in the cottage. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and more. There was a great shower with plenty of hot water, the beds were very comfortable. We were able to park the car directly outside the front door and Martin left the parking permit for us in the front room. The cottage is situated just a few minutes walk from the main town centre which allowed us easy access to the shops and restaurants. I would like to stay again in the future.

We booked really last minute and Bethan as great. Very quick and clear communication. House was exactly as described and worked perfectly for what we needed. The bathroom is a particular highlight, very clean, nicely decorated with a great shower and bath. We will definitely look to stay again whilst visiting family in the area.

A gorgeous stay! Exceeded our expectations. All the nice little touches, like the freshly baked goodies, ample teas, coffees, hot chocolates and marshmallows, really added to the experience. The property is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is really peaceful and not far to walk in to Holmfirth centre. We would definitely visit here again!

There is not one thing I can say about my stay here that isn’t positive. From the moment I booked it William was so responsive and when I got there it was cosy and warm and I felt right at home. The whole place is spotless and homely and William has thought of everything that anyone could possibly want. The fire is a dream and I was even given extra logs so I could keep it going on my last night. The kitchen is pristine and has everything you need to cook a meal. The garden is private and enclosed so my dogs could go outside without me worrying that they might get out. The bed is super comfortable and I would love to know where it is from because I want to get the same mattress for my own bed. I couldn’t recommend staying here more. I already can’t wait to come back. The dogs were in their element laying in front of the fire after long days of walking and exploring the area. The location is perfect for exploring without driving. As always cottage, was beautifully clean and prepared for us and our dog. As we ate in this time were impressed that all the utensils needed were there, hosts were as attentive and welcoming as always. Highly recommend the cottage and will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse - the postcode took us to the farm, but the cottages were close by and easy to find. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and there was plenty of space for 10. The kids loved the swimming pool and football field. Highly recommended.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

We loved our stay at the cottage. Festively decorated and we had a nice welcome surprise on arrival. Check-in was super easy and we had quick replies with any queries we had. Comfy beds and vintage decor and furniture. Only negative was that I thought the radiator in the double room wasn’t working, until check out day when I realised it was just turned down to zero! So I was chilly most nights! 🤣. The swimming pool was great and we had it all to ourselves which was a bonus. I didn’t see the games room but friends kids that visited had a great time there. I would recommend and I would stay again for sure!

We stayed in the main farm house in a group of 6. The house was beautiful, spacious and comfortable in every room. The garden was large with a hot tub, outdoor seating and sand pit for the kids. Loved the fact you can feed the goats, there was a full guide to recommended places nearby for days out and places to see or visit. The host was really lovely and available to help whenever we needed. We would definitely love to come back here and see more of the surrounding areas and especially chatsworth house and gardens. Highly recommend for anyone wishing to have a chilled, peaceful holiday and for people wanting to get out and see the beautiful local towns, history and days out with the kids. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Lovely property at Eider Cottage - photos probably dont do it justice. Great location to head out to some of the walks up at Holme. Little bit hard to find but that adds to the charm of the village.

My husband and I have just spent six days at this beautiful lodge, one of only four. The location overlooking the lake was stunning. It was really peaceful and tranquil. The lodge was spotlessly clean with lots of facilities. The kitchen was very well equipped and also included some essentials like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, teatowels and tea, coffee etc. The linen was lovely, the beds were two singles made up as a double, which isn't advertised so handy if you prefer separate beds. We also were provided with dressing gowns. The WiFi was really fast and reliable and the smart TV had all of the usual apps. We used the spa several days, it was a couple of minutes drive, or about a fifteen minute walk through the golf course. It was a lovely added extra. York was about a half an hour drive so ideal for sightseeing. We will definitely visit these lodges again as it was the perfect break in such a beautiful setting.

Quirky little place. Clean, kitchen has everything you need to make a few small meals. Great view from the hot tub. Good location. And very tasty cake left for our arrival.

What can I say about this place.. 100 things 100 times over!! I did not want to leave! On top of the amazing customer service despite it being a self check in, I felt super welcome immediately and made to sure his property which was absolutely to die for stunning; And looks far better than the photos lead on to believe, was kept squeaky clean and decluttered, exactly how it was when we arrived! Was meant to be only a simple stay for us as we intended on doing hikes in the local area but it ended up being the total highlight of our trip! Being able to allow our four dogs off leash from the front door of the property with no worries was absolutely amazing and they all extremely enjoyable the independence and joy of well kept, Clean grass, and the completely enclosed area surrounding ten Entire property, part of it with the main castle and part of it completely private with the hot tub and sauna to the rear. Never have I ever felt so secure in a property than this home. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic stay in this beautiful cottage for our Wedding Anniversary, clean, cosy, peaceful and extremely relaxing.

We had a wonderful stay at Sam and Annie’s place. The cottage is so spacious for two people, and was very comfortable. Lots of hot water and plenty of firewood to keep the fire going. Just down the road from the Monsal Trail, we enjoyed walking into Bakewell and exploring the area. The local pub does great food too! We would happily return. Sam and Annie were always reachable and willing to help with whatever we needed. Thanks again!!

We had a wonderful time at The Shepherd’s hut! The hosts gave detailed information and checking in was easy. The views from the hut were stunning and it was lovely and warm and cosy inside. A lovely place to stay with plenty of walking spots around! Thank you 😁

The cottage was just perfect for what we needed. Great location to visit Skipton and up to Malham Cove. The accommodation was extremely clean and very cosy. Felt really at home and great to come back and relax after a days adventures. Mel and Jason were really helpful and responsive to all our questions. We had a wonderful couple of nights at the Piggery. The hot tub was a great addition after a long day’s walk. We enjoyed the local Italian restaurant which was only 2 mins walk away. Andy was a great host and very responsive to any questions we had. We would love to return and would definitely recommend!

Me, my husband and our two dogs had another fantastic stay. After coming last year we knew what to expect and it did not disappoint. We received a lovely welcome gift of chocs/crisps/prosecco along with a love heart balloon and even dog treats :) We love coming to this home as it is extremely peaceful with beautiful surroundings and we always enjoy walking to the local pub which is about a 25-30 min walk. The home is always very clean, tidy and we always feel right at home and nice and cosy. We’ve found our perfect little getaway therefore we will definitely be back. Thank you! 🥰

Hosts communicated well with me before arriving and when I got they there they had put the heating and the kettle on! Flat was exceptionally clean and perfect for a trip away for work. Kitchen was fully functioning and well equipped and the extra touches like milk and breakfast items were much appreciated. Hosts were very friendly but also respected my privacy and their two Labradors sealed it for me! Would definitely stay again for work or a short break
