Ann is a fabulous host and goes above and beyond expectations. Her home is a treasure of colours and textures from her travels “around the world”. Very comfortable bedroom. Beautiful garden, even in the fall. Very difficult decision as to what to choose for breakfast given the choices she gave me. Delicious! Highly recommend it. (The location was perfect for the event I attended at Chestnut Creek). Enchanting!

We’ve stayed at many Air bnb’s and this was by far one of the best! From the warm welcome to the extra touches of toiletries, snacks, coffee (with cream!) and water, we felt right at home. Rachel messaged early to ensure we parked properly, and to let us know she would be available for anything. Tastefully decorated and so clean. We will definitely visit again, perhaps in the summer to use the beautiful back yard. Thanks for a wonderful experience, Rachel!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is close to downtown Barrie, but has a lovely, rural feel. The host was very accommodating and communicated often.

I’m a Barrie resident whose lower level apartment in a lovely home flooded during Ice Storm 2025. I was lucky to find this quickly, affordable, close by. Warm and cozy (and dry!) room. We had a lovely stay at Stu and Heather’s place. It was clean, the property is beautiful and the kitchen was so well stocked. We were in town for a show at Casino Rama and it was great to be off the beaten path but still close after a late night. Stu greeted us when we checked in and gave us a great recommendation for a local restaurant. We look forward to coming back should an opportunity arise.

We were caught in the middle of an ice storm in Northern Ontario and had been without power for several hours. After trying multiple hotels—all either fully booked or, if pet-friendly, not allowing cats—we were feeling quite stuck. Thankfully, Mahasa came to our rescue. She was incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing us to book on very short notice. Most importantly, she had no issues with us bringing our cat, which meant the world to us. The property itself is lovely—private, peaceful, and exceptionally well-maintained. We felt comfortable and safe throughout our stay. Highly recommended, especially for those traveling with pets!

Very clean and private entrance in the back. Very well thought out. Very responsive with clear instructions. Only about 20 minutes from the casino.

This place was nice and clean and perfect for one or 2 people. Cozy and met all the needs for our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The host was accommodating and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back on our next visit to the city.

Lynn's place was perfect for my short stay in Midland. It was very easy to find and Lynn was there to greet me and show me around. I had a safe parking space on the driveway and the suite was private, comfortable and cozy. Lynn even brought down breakfast for me both days which was so much appreciated. I recommend Lynn's place to other guests.

We had an amazing stay! The place was even better in person, clean, cozy, and perfectly located near the lake. We experienced exactly what we were looking for, peace and relaxation. Rad even offered a fishing net for my daughter to use during our fishing time. She was very accommodating and quick to respond. We highly recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway.

I don't usually take AirBNBs within homes; however, Shilpi did a great job showcasing her place as a B&B and placing guest amenities at the opposite side of the home, well away from others, and with your own bathroom. She was so welcoming, showing genuine interest in your comfort. I could have talked to her for a very long time, and actually we did in the morning when indulging in the amazing breakfast she made for me. It truly was the icing on the cake for my stay - absolutely delicious without being heavy. We shared a love for teas and the teas she provided - one after I arrived, and another at breakfast, was also spectacular. I would definitely stay again! Amazing people and a great place to stay. Markus helped us out when our car got stuck and even guided us in extreme snow, everything about this place is amazing and makes it a must visit The breakfast was amazing as well. And i just miss yodel the dog

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at this beautiful b'n'b! From booking to the last day, Stu and his partner were so lovely, quick to respond, provided tons of local recommendations and hospitality was amazing! Everything is true to the pictures and the place is STUNNING. The room was great with AC unit & ceiling fan, lovely common areas, & a beautiful deck & garden with views out over the lake. We used the kayaks, peddle boat and paddleboard, we didnt need the bikes. Lounged dock-side & basically chilled the entire weekend which coming from DT Toronto was what the soul needed. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty - eggs, peameal bacon, croissants, fruit & yoghurt, juices and Tea, Starbucks coffee pods. We used the food delivery service Stu told us about, and Uber is subsidized by the city. Super easy & cheap to get to without a car & we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood/beaches. Bring some wine, watch the sunset and sunrise, and play on the lake. Honestly, we will 100% be back!
