This lakehouse was a dream. The private dock attached to the huge balcony made for some amazing morning coffee. Better than. I could've hoped!

This house was perfect for our family of three! Although we had a family of 5 visit for a day and had plenty of space for all of us to enjoy a jump in the lake and tacos for dinner. The lakefront is serene and has a beautiful sunrise in the morning. We opened the blinds and enjoyed the view every morning! This is a lake house so be prepared to sweep the spiders from the outdoors spaces, including around the doors and the dock. The yard has quite a few spots for kids to get injured so walk around first, don't run like my poor kid did, she tripped on the sidewalk as soon as we arrived and busted her knee. There were band aids and most other amenities including an Ol school Mr. Coffee pot, a good selection of cookware and a flat top grill with grilling tools. The yard is small and the lakefront is mucky but the more it gets used, the better it will get. Roma park is a great place for a swimming beach at $12/ day parking and has other activities to plan. Plan ahead and rent a boat too!

This is the third time we've stayed at Lori's place. Our family of 12, coming from Cleveland and Chicago, to spend time on the water and together. The kitchen is nice and big with plenty of cookware for gourmet meals. The 2 mile loop around the lake is quiet and a good route for running. There's lot of space to spread out and enjoy the fresh air.

While we feel this place is probably best enjoyed in warmer weather, (because of the lake and outside amenities), we enjoyed our time there. We loved the view and were surprised to see people ice fishing. (So if you’re an angler this is the place for you.) Definitely a quiet peaceful weekend. Hopefully one of these days we’ll make it up during the summer. We would love to sit outside and enjoy a sunrise/sunset on the lake.

This place was perfect for our family to stay in for our wedding weekend!! The house was clean and comfortable. We were able to have guests come in and out for a small get together. Edgar was very responsive and accommodating to our pet and early check in/late check out. When we had spoke over the phone, he was so kind and helpful. The place is only about 15 minutes away from Bay Pointe Woods/Inn. We will be staying here in the future with upcoming anniversaries and planned trips when in the area again!!

Loved this cottage on a small lake. it was perfect for our family of 6, very spacious! Enjoyed the kayaks, even in the cold! Swans visited in the snow on our last day!

Once again our family had an enjoyable time making new memories at this Lake Cottage. We enjoyed easy sandy beach access to the crystal clear water of Gull Lake. It is perfect for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. There is also a raft as an added bonus. There is a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of towels both for the beach and for the shower. We hope to return next summer!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Julie’s place was perfect for us. All the creativity in the gardens, the kayaks, unobstructed view of the beautiful lake. There were hummingbirds, butterflies and a little ground squirrel for our personal enjoyment. The swans swimming by were were an unexpected pleasure! You place is very peaceful and serene. Checkin was easy and she and her beautiful daughter were kind and helpful. Julie suggested some close places to eat and enjoy and we visited each one. She had the fire pit ready to light but the weather was so hot we didn’t use it. We actually enjoyed a couple of severe storms while we were there. Watching the display of lightning over the lake was amazing but we felt safe and sound inside. The sunsets were accurately photographed on her listing. Just beautiful! The trip to Lake Michigan is a short, scenic and easy drive. Thank you Julie. We did not want to leave and hopefully will be back soon!

This beautiful old house is a gem - it's as comfortable as your favorite pair of jeans. And the lakefront is just so special - clean, well kept, and inviting. We have been going for over 10 years and love it today as much as the first time we visited.

Marcie has a few properties and we stayed in two of them. Had a great experience at both properties. Marcie is a great host. We would recommend to our friends and family.

Marlene's place was great. Beautiful place right on the lake, it was perfect for our group. I highly recommend her place if you're looking for a place to stay near Battle Creek.

My husband, father, son and I had a wonderful time in this peaceful place. My father and son absolutely loved catfishing at night. I wish we could have stayed even longer .

What a wonderful lakeside stay!! Clean home free of clutter, very well-equipped for our family, and in close proximity to all the fun in Grand Rapids without the bustle of the city. We would gladly return!

They think of everything you could possibly need and are incredibly kind. Would love to be able to stay again in the summer my husband and I had a great vacation thanks to these hosts and Airbnb’s greatness!

This house has everything! We even extended our stay a night because we couldn’t get the kids to come inside (ages 14, 11 and 6) and that is saying something. Plenty of space but restrooms can get a little tight if you are at the max occupancy. We had to coordinate showers. The dock is also a little worn so be careful! Ivan was super proactive on early checkin and late checkout. One note- there is a neighbor who has no chill. While out on the kayaks she gave us the third degree and yelled at us that we were trespassing on a private lake. But all other neighbors we encountered were friendly!

Beautiful lakefront property, plenty of room for a family, nice accommodations and amenities, plus a very friendly, proactive Host. We would love to take advantage of all the opportunities the Gun Lake community provides during the summer months and would definitely return here to stay.

I've stayed in quite a few AirBnBs and this was definitely one of, if not the best I've stayed in. The pictures really don't do it justice- the view across the lake was gorgeous and very peaceful. The home itself was beautiful, clean, spacious, and very well stocked for basically any need you might have while there. Lauren met us for the check in and showed us around and was an all around fantastic host. You're also right by many stores and restaurants (which Lauren provided us a detailed list of, very helpful/appreciated) but we mainly spent our time just enjoying the home, hot tub, and lake. There are neighbors on either side and around the lake, but the way the backyard space is set up makes it still feel very private when you're back there. I would definitely love to come back in the future!

What a great multigenerational destination on a gorgeous lake. Something for everyone, where wonderful memories are made.
