This was a beautiful place to stay and although only 2 of us plenty of room for get togethers and families … It was very peaceful and private considering the farm … It’s perfect located for all walks in Wales; especially Henryd Waterfall 5 min drive The extra addition of a BBQ as well as the extra touches of a Prosecco and crisps to welcome us as well as providing anything we needed during our stay. Very helpful and lovely. Will defined be booking back in the next couple of months!!

Myself and my partner stayed here to celebrate our birthdays. We had a wonderful time and are sad to leave. Hot tub was brilliant - lovely and clean upon arrival. Barn was also clean and tidy. Lots of things to places to eat and drink in Abergavenny. Would 100% recommend stopping here.

What a wonderful place to stay. The house itself has a very welcoming vibe and upon entering the property it smelt divine! It is set up so that the whole family can have fun together. It’s in a great location - we went to the the ape and monkey sanctuary, LC Leisure water park and plantasia indoor zoo. The children aged 4-9yrs had such a great time. They talked about it all on the way home. The house is across 3 floors so means everyone stays in shape too ☺️. There are heavy fire doors so anyone with little children just needs to be mindful of fingers, but we had no issues. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to give our children such a wonderful experience in Wales. Thank you so much Diane and Emma for making our stay so special!

Everything as described and the perfect host! Situated within walking distance of the town centre, the accommodation was a comfortable gem. The hot tub was a great accessory too! We loved it!

Group of us had great time in Hen Beudy. The place is exactly what we needed for trail running race in the area over the weekend. Very spacious house with lots of room, its warm, practical and clean with downstairs hard flooring. Relaxing in hot tub while watching green surroundings was lush after running those hills. It is in very peaceful location with no other houses just the forest so very quiet. Plenty to do in the area, weekend is not long enough. Phil and Debbie are great hosts, they made sure we had everything we needed. Would love to go back to stay there again.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in this lovely cottage, it's central to the village so walkable to everything. Chip Shop next door but don't be put off you couldn't tell and it's great food. Walking is fabulous and Britannia and Horse Shoe Inn are brilliant.

We really enjoyed a 'girls' weekend at Pear tree cottage. The cottage is beautiful - the photos don't do justice to how spacious and comfortable it is. The beds are really comfortable. We loved the hot tub and beautiful views across the mountains. We had a lovely walk up to the canel and to the pub in Govilon. Dave was extremely helpful with directions to the cottage which was easy to find. Wonderful stay we would love to come again.

Mike's place was perfect for a short trip in the Brecon Beacons for some waterfalls walks. He was helpful and friendly. The property is in a great location and has everything you'd need. It's very clean and comfy beds and amenities close by.

It was the perfect cosy cottage to spend Christmas together as a family gathering from Dorset, Gloucester and locally. Thank you!

Good place, probably nicer than the photos. It's not luxurious but it's good value, easy to stay there, facilities all in good nick etc. Would recommend.

Had a great stay at Gerwyns place, it was clean and tidy and the communication was brilliant. Thanks again Gerwyn, would stay again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is in a beautiful location with amazing views. We were worried about the road to the house as it was long and steep but excellent instructions really helped and both our cars got right to the top. One of our cars was electric and low too! The house was cosy and homely and sitting by the log fire in the evening was a real treat. We went for a walk from the cottage and saw even more amazing views. About an hour's drive away were also some beautiful waterfalls. It is a perfect location if you like to get away from it all, enjoy being surrounded by nature but still have the comforts of a warm and welcoming house.

A beautiful cosy cottage. Easy to get to walks and restaurants/pubs. So pretty and the perfect place to stay for a long weekend. Host was amazing and would defo go back if available. 😊

Victoria was a great host, she very quickly responded to our queries and had great recommendations for the local area. The house was lovely - clean and tidy and very relaxing. It was also a great location for all our fossil hunting exploits!

All four of us, including the dog, were able to rest, reset and re-orientate. The cottage is stunning, beyond words. The views are amazing. It is extremely cozy, well provisioned, clean and with a special mention for the duvets 'which felt like sleeping under clouds' as per the children. The walks to the waterfalls are little challenging but very worthwhile. We were not able to reach the cottage in daylight which we would recommend. I have already recommended the cottage to friends and will continue to do. Thank you for allowing us to stay, even though we only sent in the request a week beforehand, all went very smoothly.

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas. The cottage was lovely and warm. There was so much to see and do in the area. Tracey was very helpful, friendly and welcoming.

Sean was great and met us when we pulled up to the property, introduced himself and asked if we needed anything. The house was fantastic. it was super clean, great size and would be ideal for a group or family of 5 no problem.

This is the perfect place to stay for exploring the Brecon Beacons area. Its location is great for walking into Abergavenny and the canal is beautiful too. Lots of walks within easy reach. The accommodation was everything you could wish for…spotless and so spacious with all the things you need for a lovely stay, in a peaceful location. Mike was so friendly and communication was spot on! We will definitely not hesitate to return!
