Just returned from a long weekend, staying at The Barn at Rotherwood. We were a group of 4 adults (2 couples) and had a great time. The Barn was perfect for us - really comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Debbie was very responsive and left us a really generous welcome hamper for our arrival - thank you Debbie! It was perfectly situated, on the edge of Itchenor, and was easy to get to Chichester, Bosham and the Witterings from there. We would recommend staying here!

What a wonderful stay! The barn was just what we were looking for. A fabulous little space to unwind and recharge, within a few miles walking distance of Fordingbridge. Our host, Chris, was so welcoming and friendly, ensuring we had everything for our stay and sharing local knowledge of the area and a few good places to eat. We felt we could explore the space on our own, but should we need something, Chris would be available to support. The private use of the spa was amazing, a very clean and well-maintained space with sauna and hot tub. The bluetooth speakers was a great addition too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a chance to escape, unwind and relax.

Stylishly decorated Homemade jams and granola, honey, yoghurt, and bought-in croissants, tea and coffee left for us Very good log burner Natasha recommended a great pub nearby Slight quibbles- (hyper critical): Shower room a little functional Fair amount of owner's stuff about - e.g material swatches, 'Dad rock' albums and hifi . Overall, I recommend highly.

This is an outstanding, peaceful retreat with top of the line fixtures and fittings. Melanie is very welcoming and friendly and the type of host who thinks of all the small details to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. The bedding and mattress were truly comfortable. The barn is such a beautiful, light space. We were after a quiet retreat in nature, and this was it! Horses, sheep, nesting birds on the doorstep and within very close proximity (5 minute drive) to Haslemere. We spent one day exploring in Winchester, as I'd never been - a great place! Good restaurants, cafés etc and a rich history. We will definitely come back!

Hayley is fabulous, very accommodating and friendly. Willow barn is gorgeous, very well equipped and in a perfect location for us exploring Romsey and the surrounding area. We’d definitely recommend Hayley and Willow Barn.

Bobbie's place was spotlessly clean, homely and the little touches like fresh flowers on the table and the kids' toys, gave Johns Barn, such a special feel. Perfect for family holidays. Being out in the country, watching the occasional tractor go by and enjoying the deer and the bird life everyday, made for a very relaxing stay. Bobbie was so friendly and accommodating and we hope to visit again one day!

We were a family party with ages from 5 to 75 . Lots for everyone to do ( swimming , tennis, billiards/snooker & beautiful walks all there) There was enough space both inside the wonderfully converted barn and outside in the extensive grounds to enjoy each others company without being overcrowded. Thanks Sarah for enabling a lovely weekend .

We all had a lovely weekend stay, so peaceful and a great location, the 3 bedrooms and en-suites offer good spacious accommodation and well equipped with everything you need, loved the woodland and wildlife, good proximity to Oxford

We spent a wonderful weekend in this cozy and quiet house. Every detail of the interior reflects the care and love that Shelagh puts into her home and her guests' comfort. She provided fresh homemade eggs, jam, milk, croissants and more for breakfast. She even brought flowers from her garden, which was a delightful touch. In the evenings, we enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace; the provided firewood lasted perfectly for our two-night stay. It's advisable to arrive by car to explore the many local attractions recommended by Shelagh. We, for instance, booked a walk with alpacas, which was a unique experience. We would gladly return and hope to have more time to chat with Shelagh on our next visit. Thank you so much for this wonderful weekend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our staycation/weekend getaway at Mel’s place with our dog. Everything was as described in the listing and we felt at home straight away. Mel was super helpful when providing information on local walks, pubs, restaurants, shops etc. I would highly recommend Mel’s place to family and friends for a cozy and peaceful getaway, likewise would stay again if in the area. We came here for a weekend getaway for my girlfriends birthday. It was perfect! Close to things that you can get to places within 10 minutes, but still feel like you’re in the middle of the countryside. I had asked them to changed the complementary wine to Prosecco, was in the fridge with glasses waiting for us! A very clean and comfortable place, worth the money 100%! The tea lights, matches and bath salts were added nice added touches! The location is peaceful and quiet, you can’t really hear the other guest much! Toby and Mandy have thought of everything and answered any questions we had through the stay. Will definitely recommend to others!

We had a lovely few days at Tim and Anna's. The location is absolutely perfect: it is close enough to civilisation to be able to pop to the shops but only a few minutes walk and we were walking in The New Forest with terrific views in abundance. The barns have been lovingly restored in a modern manner - with everything we needed for our stay. We found it incredibly easy to check-in and check-out and Anna and Tim were both very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. All in all, a fantastic few days in lovely accommodation in a beautiful part of the world.

We had a great, relaxing stay at Ana's cottage. It was a nice retreat in the New Forest and a suitable base from which to visit the surrounding areas. Particular highlights from our stay were the views from the big picture window and the delicious sourdough bread. Communication with Ana was good before and during our stay. We would happily revisit Ana's cottage again.

We really enjoyed our stay, the hosts were so accommodating and friendly. So much to do around this area and just a 5min walk to watch the sun set by the sea. Would def stay again

Me and my boyfriend LOVED our stay with Clair. She was a fabulous host with a beautiful place to stay. I think the price we paid was very fair for what we got. The view is stunning especially from the hot tub at night under the stars. The bed was so incredibly comfy and the living room felt super homely. Clair really thought of everything from the Percy pigs and matching kitchen roll to the basket of essentials! More than anything, the thing that makes the stay really is the host! Clair was super responsive on messages, welcomed us on arrival and extended our checkout until the afternoon to have a comfortable exit. I really couldn’t have asked for anything more and I would absolutely reccomend booking with Clair!

Geraldine’s place was perfect. Lovely and cozy bed was super comfy and the village had everything you need. I was actually gutted that I arrived after eating as there seems to be a lot of choice for food with the three pubs in the village. Geraldine is very friendly and unapproachable, not that I needed it but I got the impression that nothing would be too much trouble. I would happily book to stay here again. I would recommend it.

Interactions with Helen before and during were excellent, great instructions and let us know we could check in earlier than first stated .

The cottage was lovely, perfect for what we needed. Its was very clean, well equipped, beds are extremely comfortable. Sally was a great host, very responsible and accommodating, especially with our checkin and checkout times and what to do in the area. There are beatiful walks nearby and the beach is a 15min drive. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks Sally! X

Steve's Airbnb is lovely, it is well decorated and clean. I loved the sitting room and dinning areas in particular. The grounds are lovely, there was a nice seating area, pergola and BBQ. The only negative I could think of was that the place was cold on arrival but it did warm up by the morning. To be fair to the host the temperature had just dropped and we could have put the fire on but I choose to use a water bottle instead.

A beautiful cosy cabin in the middle of the forest! 🌲 A great place to stay for a few nights, with lots of different walks right on your doorstep. The log burner was a great touch and made our evenings so cosy. It would have been even better if there was another foot stool to put your feet up when watching TV. I would also bear in mind if you’re after a completely peaceful stay is that it’s located right next to a road so was slightly noisy, but the cars weren’t too frequent. The bed was very comfortable! Astrid was so friendly, allowing us a flexible check in and gave us information about the area 🦌 We were also kindly left a cake and fresh milk! Would definitely recommend and stay again, thank you 😊

we had a wonderful New Year stay at this gorgeous barn. We received a very warm welcome from Jack, Hayley and Meadow and soon settled in. The accommodation was great and the surrounding area is beautiful. The barn was warm and cosy and the views from the windows were stunning. Our dogs enjoyed the walks in the surrounding fields and copse, especially the stream. We had a lovely relaxing stay and would definitely like to return.
