We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Matthew and Jane's B&B. The location was peaceful with lovely views over the countryside and Matthew and Jane were friendly and attentive hosts. We were welcomed with hot drinks on arrival which was lovely after a long drive. Making arrangements to arrive was easy with good, clear communication from Jane. Every room was spotless and tidy and the beds were comfortable with quality mattresses, pillows and sheets. Breakfast was delcious and Jane was keen to ensure we all had a breakfast we would enjoy with options to choose from. We would definitely stay again. Thank you both.

Jane's place is wonderful. We were lucky enough to be there on a warm sunny day, so we were able to take advantage of the lovely garden. I suspect without that we would have felt a little cramped, but all that is clear from the Airbnb description. And it's worth it to be a little cramped for the sake of being so nicely tucked within the Cathedral Close. We will be back!

Our stay at Kate and Mark's was far too short! They are both lovely people and we felt very welcomed into their beautiful home with comfortable beds. Jane Austen's house is an easy, short walk away as is the Grey Friars Pub and the beautiful Chawton House Estate. There were sheep in the pasture across their driveway as well--always a plus for me! I highly recommend staying with Kate and Mark if you are in the Chawton area. I can't wait to return!

Perfect accommodation + perfect host = happy customers! This was the perfect pit stop for our journey to LEGOLAND. The room was the perfect size for 2 adults, 2 children and a baby. Breakfast was in the room and ample for all of us to set us up for our busy day. Host was extremely responsive throughout. It was a shame The Tally Ho pub is closed on a Monday (understandable reasons for why they don’t open) as food and a cold beverage downstairs would have been perfect. Note: if finding food in Hungerford please avoid The Bear pub. Lots of other lovely looking eateries in the lovely town.

Chris is an amazing host. We have been several times at his cottage and he has become a friend. Chris is so engaging, very attentive and a fab host. His house is a real gem in Sussex.

Janet was friendly, welcoming and interesting to talk to. I met Andrew briefly at breakfast and he was friendly and nice to talk to also. The room and en suite bathroom were comfortable. The continental breakfast was a nice touch and appreciated. Good to have a dedicated workspace and off road parking as well. There is no view over the Goodwood motor racing circuit or racecourse from the room but Janet said there is from somewhere not very far from the house. There is a bit of a view from the window of the downs beyond the housing. The place was clean and attractive and a good place to spend the night. I'd be happy to stay there again.

Francis and Margaret could not have been more welcoming and were keen to make me and my nine month old Lab, Buddy, right at home.

Visiting UK for a few days to meet old friends, choose Karen's Airbnb and this was the best decision I could make. All was perfect, from Airbnb itself to location, etc. Karen was a 5* hostess and the place is perfect. Thanks very much, we will be back in the future, guaranteed.

Lovely stay at Allison’s - cozy accommodation with everything you would need. The surrounding was so peaceful with trails starting at your doorstep! The horses passed through each morning. Top tip would be to follow Allison’s instructions on directions - you can’t go wrong! Thank you Allison for opening your home to me!

Cute Annexe in the countryside. very quiet, warm and cosy, and the array of lamps really accentuated this. nice large dining lounge space and comfortable bed. lovely little extras with the local apple juice , butter, bread and milk etc with a nespresso coffee machine. towels are very fluffy and large too. davina was very helpful and her washing up fairy did a magical job.

Jayne was a fantastic host, gave some great walking suggestions and had me eating at the best local pubs. The room was lovely and spacious and incredibly peaceful. Just what I needed!

I loved my time with Lucinda and Juno the dog. The room was perfect, with my own door from the outside, en-suite bathroom and the most comfortable bed ever. The breakfasts were delicious and it's walking/biking distance to Marlborough town centre and Savernake Forest, which I was able to explore (and loved). Would definitely recommend that people stay here!

We had a delightful stay at The Bottle & Glass Inn. We were only there for 1 night as we were visiting friends in the Henley area so it was an ideal location. The room was tastefully decorated and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast in the adjacent barn next to the wood burning stove was great as it was a rainy day. The Full English was tasty, nice sourdough toast & good coffee. Despite the rain, we enjoyed a lovely walk through the surrounding woods and then went back to the barn to dry off by the fire. The staff were all extremely friendly & helpful and the stand out was Paul, who greeted us warmly at the bar, showed us to the room and helped us work out how to switch on the bedside lamps! He was very accommodating and went out of his way to make sure our stay was seamless & comfortable. Outstanding! Will definitely stay again when we visit the area.

We booked to stay with Lesley as we had a booking at the Bombay Sapphire Distillery, which is a short walk from the house. The room was spotless and had lots of nice touches such as a selection of tea bags, shortbread biscuits aswell as shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom Lesley made us a lovely continental breakfast with beautiful warm pastries and was a fantastic host. Communication was also great beforehand. There are lovely walks in the surrounding countryside and a great pub in the village. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others Thank you again Lesley!

Victoria and Keith are wonderful hosts. Very friendly people who make you feel welcome. Everything is nice and clean, the bed is very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you very much for your hospitality, I really enjoyed my stay. Getting into Goodwood for the revival weekend was nice and easy as well. It only took 10 to 15 minutes from the house into the Goodwood carparks.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Arlene’s cottage was beautiful and the accommodation area was all we could want and more, cosy, beautifully clean and comfortable with a lovely modern bathroom. Arlene was a delight to meet, very friendly and helpful but not in any way intrusive. The breakfast she supplied was sensational with fresh foods and local fruits and goodies - definitely a lovely start to each day and lots of thoughtful touches in the room including some tasty little treats. We would definitely recommend a stay here and would add that it’s a great location as a base to explore the area with lots of options to walk to for meals if needed. We hope we will be back - thank you again Arlene 😊

We loved our stay at Lordington Park for my husband’s birthday weekend. Harriet and the staff were very welcoming and looked after us and our two sausage dogs. The room was beautiful and we loved the gardens, particularly as there were plenty of areas for the dogs to run around and let off some energy. We would highly recommend a visit!

Dee is an exceptional hostess- I felt completely at home and at ease in her lovely home. Dee is very knowledgeable about the area and went above and beyond to assist me. The breakfast was astonishing with fresh orange juice, fruit, bread and granola, Dees own homemade jam and lots of tea There aren’t words to communicate the warmth and nurturing Dee provides - highly recommend you go and meet her and the adorable Tilly (best mannered softest golden lab ever) ❤️

Such a wonderful, inviting and accommodating couple. Ellie was great, such clear communication and very helpful. The way to the room is quite narrow so something to be mindful of but if you don’t mind a squeeze the room is well worth it and such lovey hosts. Breakfast was lovely!

A perfect place to spend the night - comfortable and clean. Rodolph and Nalini are a lovely welcoming couple and made me feel right at home. I will be back!
