This is a lovely place to relax and just be in nature away from it all. Close enough to village shops and other villages and restaurants and pubs. The accommodation is very clean and tidy, very comfortable sofas and chairs and excellent beds. Kitchen all the whitegoods are modern and high standard. Great location for Stonehenge and Avebury as well as Mottisfont Priory a National Trust house and grounds. The hosts seem very approachable, friendly and helpful. To be honest the only negative is getting there down a track, the house track is very well maintained and easy driving but the farm track previous to that has a hundred yards or so of very uneven surface. That said I drive a very low hung car and with care had no problems at all. Patience is definitely required though and most modern cars will have no issues.

A lovely space for a retreat. Very clean and tidy and everything is of great quality. Has all you need.

Recommend this place for walkers on the Clarendon Way, being near halfway along the route and an easy walk to a pub for our evening meal. The accommodation was perfect, with plenty of room, good quality decor, and good information in advance. Thanks Rosie.

I had a very comfortable stay in this spotlessly clean accommodation. It was very well appointed and many small details had been carefully thought out. Pete and Sam were friendly and welcoming. The area was quiet and safe and a place I would definitely recommend staying.

Lulu and Russel were both very welcoming and accommodating during our stay. The place has everything you could possibly need and the hot tub was a great addition! The place is in a great and peaceful location with a lovely pub just up the road and only 5 mins from the beach. We would definitely recommend to others!

I can’t recommend this place enough. Beautiful surroundings, cosy atmosphere inside the house, and a very kind host. If you want a peaceful and calm weekend in the countryside (and just 10 mins drive to the ‘Downton Abbey’ village of Bampton), this is the place! If you are an artist, you’ll find inspiration too. Lovely quiet location within distance of a wide range of places to visit. The Hayloft was so comfortable, spacious and well equipped with eating and micro cooking facilities. The host had pretty much covered everything needed to create a very comfortable stay. Natalie herself is very polite, approachable, informative and responsive person. All in all a very comfortable and enjoyable experience and will most definitely be booking again very soon.

Amaizing annexe. Kim's place is located in the quiet neighbourhood. In a walking distance to beautiful river Hamble and the local marina. It is specious, spotless and very well equipped. Decorated with a great taste. This lovely place is provided with everything you need even for a longer stay. It is conveniently placed close to Tesco extra and bus stop to Southampton and Portsmouth. Kim and Ian were very friendly and always happy to help. We had a wonderful stay and we will definitely return. Kate&Robert

A great annex wonderfully located, minutes from the beach and perfect for enjoying the local area. I was travelling for work purposes and the WiFi was reliable and the table and chairs made a great temporary working environment. Kitchen facilities were enough for me on my own, it is advertised as light cooking facilities only which it is. However, don’t go with the intention of doing loads of cooking but more than enough for breakfasts etc. I would highly recommend and would go back here myself next time I’m needed in the area. Thanks to the hosts!

Coral and John were really lovely hosts. The accommodation and parking was as described and very private, safe and secure. We really enjoyed our very relaxed mini break and would not hesitate to return. A gem of a find. Hopefully, we will be back soon! Thank you again Coral and John xx

Lovely little place and was perfect for my use. Only gripe was no working kitchen but an air fryer, kettle and toaster was available. Paul was very friendly and kindly advised a few beautiful places to visit. Would definitely stay again if the kitchen was functional.

The en-suite room "Japangie" has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Angie is very reactive to questions you have. The accommodation is clean and practical. The town centre is a 15 to 20 minute walk. "Japangie" has a wonderful private parking space!

We stayed at The Butler's Quarters in Elstead as part of the wedding party at the Mill. Absolutely loved it! Apartment was squeaky clean, bed super comfy, pillows & duvet super soft! The bath tub in the room just amazing, you watch TV & have a cuppa whilst soaking in the tub. The location is superb, only 5 min walk to the mill through the field, main reason we decided to book in the village rather than catching a taxi after the party. I'd imagine what a great break it would make staying there in the summer! Thank you Beth for such an amazing winter break!

I enjoyed my stay at Rangi's annex. The accommodation was perfect for me - private - but I liked the idea of being attached to the main house, in case I needed anything . The kitchen was very well appointed. Thank you, Rangi, for your kindness and making me feel so welcome.

Gemma and Mark were fantastic hosts! They gave us clear instructions on how to access the house, and when we arrived, Gemma was there to warmly welcome us. She handed over the keys, gave us a great tour of the property, and shared plenty of helpful tips about the local area and things to do. It made settling in so easy! The accommodation was exactly as described and looked just like the pictures—clean, comfortable, and beautifully presented. Parking was conveniently right in front of the house, which was really handy. One of the highlights was having the Bombay Sapphire Distillery so close by—we could walk there and back, which made for a perfect outing! The surrounding area was absolutely beautiful, with lovely restaurants and shops nearby. We had such a wonderful stay and would definitely love to return! Plus, it’s only a 20 to 25-minute drive to the beautiful city of Winchester, which is well worth a day trip.

Lovely place to stay in Surrey, quiet and serene. The apartment was spotless and everything we needed was there. Walking distance to restaurants and pubs and they didn’t disappoint, A very pleasant and comfortable weekend for which we have to thank Gillian, if the opportunity comes along again we would not hesitate to book The Haven again.

This was our second stay at Chill Cottage. It was just what we were after. Lovely and cosy with everything we needed. Would recommend.

Regina and her partner are lovely people, down to earth and very friendly! Regina showed us around and even stocked the fridge with some necessary items such as orange juice, bread and coffee and tea for example...I think there was even some milk! The kitchen was perfect for our needs, well almost, an over is always nice but you can't have everything! There was a washing machine and a dryer which came in very handy. The bedroom looks out onto a lovely garden and we felt right at home and it felt very private! The bed was very comfortable and all in all, it was a great stay!

This is a lovely little place with the most comfortable beds ever! Joanna was welcoming and responsive and we really appreciated the little touches like some fruit and breakfast goodies. Alton is a great location for visiting Jane Austen’s house and Selbourne and we had an amazing meal at the White Hart. Thank you very much
