Our stay at Ramona House in Smithville was wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by its beautifully renovated, minimalist design. It was the perfect escape from the city, offering plenty of space to relax and gather with family. The location is fantastic—within walking distance of great antique shops and a short drive to Bastrop and Buescher State Parks. The house is stylish yet cozy, with spacious bedrooms, comfy beds, and modern, roomy bathrooms. We loved cooking and grilling together, unwinding by the fire pit, and soaking in the cowboy hot tub. Grayson and Brooke are fantastic hosts who have created a welcoming retreat. If you’re visiting Round Top or the surrounding area, Ramona House is the perfect place to stay. You’ll feel right at home in this charming, historic gem!

Great home. Very spacious home for the amount of people that we had staying for the weekend. Exactly as described and at a very reasonable price in a great quiet neighborhood.

The place was exactly as advertised. The home has been completely updated and the finishings are first class. The kitchen is beautiful. The place is very conveniently located and my wife and enjoyed walking the neighborhood where I grew up. We will definitely stay there again and we highly recommend Mary and Jeff’s place to you all as well.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Harris's place! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with how well-maintained and cozy the home was. The decor was stylish yet comfortable, and it really felt like a home away from home. One of the standout features for me was the fireplace—such a perfect touch! It created such a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to unwind in the evenings after a day of exploring. Whether I was curled up with a good book or just enjoying the crackling fire, it truly added to the charm of the place. Harris was an exceptional host, always quick to respond to messages. The location was ideal—peaceful yet conveniently close to everything I wanted to see and do. I felt completely at ease during my entire stay and would definitely return. If you're looking for a amazing and memorable getaway, I highly recommend Harris's place! ASAP lol we have to book it again …Booked✅

This place was amazing! Perfect for my family and dogs to have a peaceful week. The place was exactly as described. Clean and had everything we needed! We enjoyed the pool and walking the trails on the property. Megan was super responsive and friendly! Thanks for an amazing stay!

What a unique place to stay! The home is so beautifully renovated, yet has all the character of an early 1900’s home. It was very clean, easy to find and check into, and the host had excellent communication. There is a train that runs through Smithville so bring ear plugs or a noise machine if you are a light sleeper. The town itself is really quaint with little restaurants and a farmer’s market on the weekend. Be aware that many restaurants in walking distance have random hours so check online first. This house felt very safe. We could see a police station from the house. The pool was fabulous, and the spa was massive. We had a wonderful stay!

We loved how close to town we were and how easy it was to get around from this home. Everything at this property was above and beyond! Gary provided a beautiful home that was well stocked all the way down to creamers for my morning coffee. We even had a fire in the in the firepit thanks to the stack of wood and starters that were already there at the house. We will definitely be back next time we come to visit our family. A five star property!!! Thank you Gary!

The home was clean, in a quiet neighborhood, and had easy access to all things east of Austin. The only recommendation I’d have for the owners, and this is nitpicking, is to install towel hooks closer to the shower in the master bath.
