What truly made the place worth it for me was the cost to quality ratio, with the affordable rate per night's stay being matched with a kind host, comfortable lodging (with AC and WIFI!), and peaceful surroundings. Upon arrival, I was given a key to a unit in the building which had a common area (living room, kitchen, & bathroom) and three separate bedrooms, one of which I stayed in. There is a possibility that you would share the unit with other guests staying in the other bedrooms, but at the time I had the unit to myself. I was given a towel, rolls of tissue, hand soap, and access to dinnerware in the kitchen. I personally did not mind that the unit did not have some amenities I'd find useful like a fridge or a hair dryer as I really just needed a place to sleep in while I toured Ilocos Norte. Melanie was also very welcoming towards and highly considerate of her guests. She checks if her guests are already at their rooms during nighttime and accommodates reasonable requests.

Super sulit ng stay namin. Perfect way to end a long day after your tour. Super relaxing, and comfortable. Ang bait din ng host, lahat ng questions and needs namin binigay nila.

Rosita’s place was very clean and had ample space. It came complete with free toiletries, towels, and had an oven toaster and microwave. With free breakfast to boot, you get more than your money’s worth here. The caretaker was also very nice and accommodating. We arrived so late due to traffic but they welcomed us so kindly without complaints at all. If you’re looking for a simple place to stay here during your tours that won’t break your bank, Rosita’s place is highly recommended.

Good place to stay San Nicolas Ilocos Norte

accomodation was clean and malapit lang sa airport... Host is super bait and always available pag my kailangan.. i would recommend this place...

Ting-Ging's place is perfect for group travellers. Though the entrance to the parking area is kinda narrow, SUVs would still fit and you will be assisted very well. The house has spacious rooms, comfortable beds, fabulous toilet and bath tub. There is a common kitchen area with water for your tea or coffee (bring your own food though). You may ask their reco if you are planning to try Suba Sand Dunes 4x4 Adventure. Ms. Ting and her family are very accomodating and friendly. Definitely, the place is recommendable. It feels like home. :)
