Like stepping into history! This is a wonderful cottage, located steps from the pub and cafes, with modern comforts and historic charm. We loved cooking in the fully equipped kitchen and sitting under the grape vines in the yard having a wine and looking at the stars. Very clean, comfy beds, T.V, and cosy blankets. The only place to stay when visiting Sofala!

We had a great time at this place. Very peaceful and great for the dogs to run around and explore. Thank you!

Julie and Tony were fantastic hosts. Very friendly, very responsive to any questions we had. The property is well maintained, with everything in great condition. The location is beautiful, very secluded right by the water. The perfect getaway from daily hustle and grind. If you get the chance to book The Shearer’s Shed or its sister property HIT THE BOOK BUTTON IMMEDIATELY - the property totally surpassed our expectations and was simply brilliant for our extended family. Private and peaceful, beautifully and thoughtfully appointed and absolutely stunning. Hamish and Mez were wonderful hosts and obviously love sharing their beautiful station. We will absolutely be back.

Kates place was one of the most beautiful and relaxing places we have stayed. The hosts were incredibly responsive to any questions we had and the place itself was extremely clean and well looked after. I would highly recommend Kate’s places to anyone looking by for a quiet hideaway to recharge and decompress - they even have 2 adorable puppies who were the sweetest!!! We will definitely be back!!!

We had an awesome stay at Wilga. Such a peaceful location close to town. The cottage is really homely and well equipped. The only complaint is we didnt spend enough time there as we were at the Bathurst 12 hour race both days. Hamish is a wonderful host and left some local goodies for us to enjoy. We would both love to stay there again.

This place is gorgeous! Beautiful location set on a spectacular country property. The house is amazing, we love the style, picture windows and huge spaces. Kate is a very proactive host and we appreciated the gift on arrival. Excellent communication and helpful handbook. Lovely local walks, lots of kangaroos and wonderful privacy. Can’t wait to come back to stay again.
