We stayed at this lovely appartment for 5 weeks and it had all the comforts and ammenities for a long stay. it was a little bigger than the photos suggest. The pool was excellent and much larger than most with enough beds and shade. There were a number of good restuarants in the mall which were very convenient. If you want a more local Penang night market experience there is the very good Hub 33 night market about a 15 min walk away. We ate there most nights as it was good , simple food, a lot of variety and very cheap. It is a little way out from Georgetown central but easy to get in/out either via Grab or by bus (101) from outside the Lotus mall. Just be aware if you go over Chinese New Year due to demand Grab can take a little longer and is a bit more expensive. Nikky was very responsive to messages and information. Overall an amazing stay in Nikkys apparment and in Penang. We will be back.

The apartment is really big and like in the pictures, three bedrooms and two bathrooms, day area huge too, with nice balcony. The beach is close and the swimming pool is nice with a kids area. You can take grab to move around or the bus that is connected to George town. The electricity bill is to pay out of the price if you use air conditioning, but honestly there was no need, just keep the windows open. The only flaw is the smell in the house I imagine due to being close for a long time, would be nice a deep clean. Overall a good solution to stay in the peace out of the city!

It was a pleasure staying at Shinly's place. Clean, quiet, with all basic amenities at walking distance. Shinly was responsive to queries and a small glitch with the TV was resolved promptly. Overall enjoyed my stay and wouldn't hesitate to book Shinly's place again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Booking was smooth and continued through to when we checked out. Replies were very quick. Someone met us at the house to let us in and get us settled and no time were we waiting. The house was better than we expected, tastefully decorated, large, accommodated our family of 4 very comfortably. The location was perfect for walking around Georgetown, we spend 3 nights and could have easily stayed for more. There was a coffee shop just across the street that had fantastic coffee, opened at 9am, we are early risers so would have went more if it was open earlier. There were a few very minor things that I think the house could use/provide but will message host separately as nothing noteworthy to change our stay. All and all we had a great time and would definately recommend Stewart Lane and Georgetown.

The house is amazing. We had friends and family flying in for a wedding for a few days, the place was just nice to have simple catchup to with some friends and family who came down. We love that it has 2 living halls and a big dining area, we had different small groups hanging out in each area and not forgetting the rooftop was a nice hangout spot too. Things to improve….There is a big space on the 2nd floor too, however the aircond wasn’t working, if not that too will be a nice hangout space. Also the extra mattresses is more like a comforters, it’s too thin and not suitable for sleeping. But overall, our family totally enjoyed a serene stay. 5stars for service as well, check in was easy and responses were excellent. Even when we had left behind our belongings after check out, we were able to retrieve it with ease. Thanks!

The area is really peaceful and is few mins walk to karpal singh drive. Whole house is comfortable and has enough equipments like kitchenware, body shampoo and big garage. Very recommended 👍🏻

Wanted to experience a cultural heritage house, and it was absolutely worth it. Love how the hosts paid attention to detail e.g. providing a guide to famous food around. Also particularly enjoyed how the hosts preserved the heritage elements, like the doors, while refurbishing the bathroom for cleanliness and comfort. Love it!

We had a wonderful experience at this Airbnb! The location is good, yet quiet and peaceful. The place was very well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What really stood out was the host! Super friendly, welcoming, and always quick to respond to any questions or requests. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Great place to stay.. Great responsive and helpful owner

The location is peaceful, with great local food nearby and access to a rooftop swimming pool. The accommodation is clean, and the host is friendly and hospitable.

The apartment is located in the Landmark building which caters for a lot of Airbnb units. The building is surrounded by a lot of shopping and food options but if you want to see Penang it would be best to drive/Grab. This unit is well looked after and extremely well optioned with free parking, big tv, Netflix, micro, water dispenser etc. etc and the block has an excellent gym and pool with great views. The Homey Planet team are very friendly and helpful and respond quickly to any questions or requests. We had the apt on the 33rd floor with amazing views of the Gurney shoreline and over the affluent Tg Tokong bungalows. On New Years Eve the view of the fireworks along the waterfront and across the island was just awesome. The furniture and beds are a bit hard wearing to cope with the high traffic - this could easily pass as a luxury apartment with an upgrade of the furnishings but at the current price it’s amazing value for money. Recommended!

We had a great stay at Suet Er's place, and we appreciated the helpful communication and the comfortable space. The apartment was clean and tidy. Highly recommended for people who want to bring family to vocation in Penang.

Chris was an Amazing Host.! The place is literally “By the Sea”. Chris’ apartment had an amazing view into the beach and the mountains. The sunset view is worth it all.!!! The place was super clean, the kitchen was pristine and the bathroom spotless. The place matched exactly as per the description, with all the amenities. The swimming pool in the apartment is beautiful. It’s a walkable distance from the beach, where it was decent beach shacks. One nice Lebanese restaurant is right outside. Otherwise, the nearest market place is a five minute grab ride away. Chris is super responsive, sweet , friendly and understanding. 5 stars definitely.

Lim’s a great host, very responsive and provided clear information for swift and easy check in process. The location was great too, walkable to nearby restaurants and gurney bay for an evening stroll.

Whether you are visiting Penang for a few days or a few weeks, stop looking this is the place to stay! I stayed for a month and the apartment had everything I needed. All of my local friends commented on how great the location was, very central and walkable to the historic downtown, but removed enough for it to be quiet and have easy access to other areas of the island. The building the apartment is located in was great, very secure with a convenience store and Starbucks on the ground floor. There are many other home stays in the building so there are always tourists in and out but it was always very quiet in the apartment so noise wasn’t an issue. in The apartment was as pictured. I did a fair bit of writing/research in the apartment and found the living area to be comfortable and wifi fast enough for remote work. A/C + fan combo worked well so I was never hot. Didn’t notice any strong smells as other reviewers did. Highly recommend!

Pleasant stay and the family were all satisfied. The host was responsive and the check-in went smoothly, and the house was neat and clean. very good location. Near to everything you need. House was as described and everything was in proper order. we had a wonderful stay. Definitely gonna repeat the stay.
