We had a nice stay at Anchor Inn. The location is about a 15-minute walk from the main street. I worked remotely for our month stay and the wifi worked perfectly without any issues. We are traveling with our small dog and he enjoyed the walled, gated complex. Access to a washing machine was a big plus. We enjoyed our stay and would go back in the future.

We loved staying here! Waking up to the ocean sounds is just something else. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Everything matched the description. HUGE thanks to Tony & Jo who were exceptional hosts. Super friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

Chandra’s place was comfortable, provided drinkable water and the kitchen had plenty utensils. The couches were big and comfy too. Getting there was a bit difficult, locals didn’t know where splash inn or the pizzeria was. We had to leave the car parked somewhere and walked until we found it. I wouldn’t recommend getting there by foot especially if you’re carrying your bag. Without bags is manageable if you’re using the shortcut on the back of the house which can only be used by foot. Overall not a bad place or experience.

We stayed in Casa del Dolfin for the entire month of February 2025. Combined with the studio, the house is spacious and acommodated our guests nicely. We had 10 guests at the peak. The most amazing thing about this place is the views. We marked time by the arrival of cruise ships at dawn and their departure at sunset. We spent entire days basking in the sun and enjoying the pool. One magical morning, we were visited by a pair of Guacamayas. We enjoyed the company of two friendly cats, Mamacita and Mimi. The quiet Turtle Beach area was ideal for our family and friends, as we celebrated a wedding at Ibigari mid-month. From Casa del Dolfin, is a 15 min. walk down the hill to the Clearwater Dock, where you can catch a water taxi to either West End or West Bay for $5 per person. We thoroughly enjoyed swimming and snorkeling in the beautiful water around the island paradise of Roatan. Communication with Renee was excellent. Thank you for a once-in-lifetime vacation.

Our stay at Brian and Sherri's place was phenomenal. The location is gorgeous. Tucked away on a beautiful lagoon, with incredible views all around. Communication with Sherri was prompt, easy and helpful. The house is well stocked. The wifi is fast (40+ up and down). The bar/restaurant downstairs is often lively but never loud. The staff around the marina are all friendly and helpful. Jump in off the dock. Kayak around the lagoon. Swim out to the floating bar. Nap on the porch. Everything you could ask for out of a Roatán stay. Unless your looking for all inclusive, cruise ship vibes. in which case West End is your best bet. If you're looking for a perfect little hidden gem, this is it!

My Family loved the place. The snorkeling at the house was amazing. It actually cut into our diving because we had so much to see... Beautiful Reef many colorful fish we even saw a Spotted Eagle Ray a few times. The house was very clean and very accommodating for couples or groups (We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom) Beautiful views from the porch with a nice breeze on most days. When we arrived, Angel greeted us at the ferry and helped us get settled in and made sure we had everything we needed. Even got us some beer when he got our Ice. Angel is one of the nicest people on this planet. Very kind person. (Angel if you can see this Thank you!) Laura thank you so much for getting everything set up for us upon arrival. everything was perfect We look forward to staying with you next year

Beautiful space, especially the view. We especially appreciated that we could drink the water, and the endless ice in the ice machine. The many bathrooms had very nice tile, the woodwork was well done and the living room furniture very comfortable. Two of our very athletic boys managed to get into the ocean by going through the rocks but only once and we don’t necessarily recommend it. Nice beaches nearby. My four grandsons got certified to dive and saw a lot of magnificent animals including sea turtles. We had a great time!

Henry and his wife, Theresa, were warm and inviting. The kitchen had everything needed to cook meals, plenty of hot water for relaxing showers, options between air conditioning and/or ceiling fans in each room (both worked well), and a great master bed. Loved the high ceilings, hammock chair in living room, wrap-around porch with hammocks, and surrounding trees with beautiful, melodious birds. Great washer & dryer, too. The house is conveniently located in West End, but not directly on the main drag (a good thing)—a few minutes walk away from dive shops, water taxis, restaurants, and small grocery store. There is a night club near the house that can be noisy at night—but this wasn’t a real issue for us apart from New Year’s Eve partying. (So, not an every day, ongoing concern throughout the year.) We felt very at home and comfortable! Safe, secure, and relaxed.

Le petit appartement était propre et correspondait à la description. L'espace était suffisant pour notre petite famille de 3, mais un lit supplémentaire ou un lit plus large aurait été mieux. L'hôte nous avait proposé d'ajouter un lit, mais nous avons préféré rester ainsi. L'accès à la mer est facile (moins à marée basse par contre). Le corail semble en bonne santé et une grande variété de vie marine nous attend directement devant la maison, c'est fantastique. La douche, par contre, ne fonctionnait pas très bien et l'eau chaude ne durait même pas 2 minutes avant de devenir froide. La pression d'eau était très faible et la pomme de douche avait un sérieux besoin de nettoyage au vinaigre ou bien d'être changée. Le restaurant tout près (à 2 maisons) est très bon, mais à prix nord américain, pas d'Amérique centrale. Sa proximité a des pours et des contres. Je recommande fortement le lieu et nous y retournerions avec plaisir.

Great location in West End, and wonderfully quiet with a 3 minute stroll to whatever you want to do—swim, eat, taxi, dive, etc. I loved being tucked away in the corner of West End. Caroline was very helpful answering questions about what is where, and always very responsive and hospitable. It’s a big space and the kitchen has everything you need for a longer stay. It’s a fantastic, no frills budget friendly option fully equipped for a great stay on the island. Bummed to leave. Thanks again for everything, Caroline!

El lugar es muy tranquilo, la ubicación está excelente, la vista es maravillosa, si quieres tranquilidad este es el lugar perfecto. ir a west end es muy fácil, está a solo 5 minutos en taxi y los taxis pasan muy seguido, el lugar es muy seguro y los anfitriones son muy amables y responden super rápido. Super recomendable.

Clean, comfortable space!. Front & back porch. Walk across the street to Half Moon Bay which is a small local beach that has great snorkeling. Awesome restaurants in the area. Free breakfast was definitely a bonus at Mr. Tucan's!

I came to Utila to dive and little did I known that most divecentres on this island offers free accommodation with their diving packages. So keep this in mind if your primary reason is diving. I was too late to cancel and get a refund. Never the less I am satisfied with my stay and location was perfect for my needs. Literally across my diving center and there's a mini supermarket next door. The walk to Ferry port is literally 5min which was really easy to do. Keep in mind that on Utila you share the road with scooters, ATV's and golfcarts as there isn't a sidewalk. Plenty of places to eat that fits all budgets and with the supermarket next door I was able to prepare my (cooked) late lunches after diving the whole day. Basic kitchen appliances yet sufficient to prepare your meals. The host(s) provided 1/3 filled bottle water dispenser to use, since you can't drink the tapwater. Which was appreciated. WiFi was fast & steady. Never met the host(s) nor was it necessary

We stayed here for about a week and loved it! The apartment is very cosy and clean, and we felt right at home. Albert and Patty were extremely friendly and kind. They took us from and to the ferry, and gave great recommendations for things to go see, do, and eat. The neighborhood was really walkable and we could easily reach restaurants and the beach within 10-20 minutes depending on the place. we never had wifi or electricity problems. everything was great

I’ve been to Roatan many times but this was my first time staying at Jessica’s place. It was fantastic! Lovely and secluded, but a very short walk from the shops, restaurants, beach, and dive shops of the West End. The place is bright and airy, very new, and well equipped. The beds are fantastic. The view is stunning! We truly hope to come back and would stay in this home again in a heartbeat. Great value!

2 couples stayed for 2 weeks at this Great Place. This property is in a very safe area with other buildings and very friendly people in the next buildings. It has very close beach and pier access for snorkelling and to view the awsome sunsets. The building is very well kept clean and tidy. All the needed items were there in the kitchen and throughout the rest of the property, and having the washer and drier made our stay. The heated pool with the pool goodies, the comfortable beds, decks chairs, loungers by the pool, all made for a very comfortable place to relax and enjoy. The building manager lives close by and is a great asset to this property, giving advice and allowing us to use his knowledge of the area to get the most out of our time spent in Roatan. In our opinion this should be everyone's destination vacation home as we thoroughly enjoyed this property.

We spent 17 days in this condo and loved it! Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and linens, good hot water, lovely balcony, beautiful pool, and lots of friendly help from Vanessa and Frank. Great restaurants nearby, The Lounge, Creole’s, Sundowner’s, and Ginger’s were our favorites. We stopped at Eldon’s when we arrived and took the van/bus/public transport one other time. Other groceries we got at the little markets/convenience stores along West End. We went to the Mayan Princess twice, great pools! Vanessa did such a good job setting everything up for us. One of the best set up and well run condos we’ve stayed in, and we’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs!

We had a great time. Easy to communicate and helpful team. The location was great. We felt very safe. Walkable to all of west end and we did walk to west bay also. Great dive shop nearby. Water and amenities were enough to get us through a few days and then we had great advice on replenishing for the rest of our trip. The pool was great for some downtime. Would definitely stay again and stay longer. Great place for 2 couples.

Fantastic place. Walking distance to many bars, stores, restaurants, and the beach. You can snorkel right off the back, which my wife and I did everyday. We saw cool fish less than 20 yards from the back patio. Anything you need, Ada will arrange. She is very helpful! This is a place where you can chill at for a week, and never leave a quarter mile radius if you don’t want to. Most excursions have pickup points extremely close to Ada’s.

My families stay at Reef16 was an absolute wonderful experience from start to finish! The communication was great on the lead up to our visit (note that you'll be asked to fill out info on a second portal to finalize the booking). Bill connected us with Ramona, the property manager, who greeted us at the unit for check-in and was available to answer any of our questions throughout the trip. She was awesome and a great help! She also connected us with Jaime for airport transport who was super fun and energetic. The place itself was spectacular!! The penthouse is so well designed and everything feels brand new. The kitchen and cupboard are well stocked, the coffee machine is great, and they provide lots of beach towels and helpful mugs to take down to the pool. The views from the wrap around balcony are stunning and so peaceful. The location is tucked away in a private area, but still very close to all the great restaurants and bars on the main street. We loved every part of it!

Great place. Mellisa recommendations were awesome! We had a great time and would love to go back someday. Jacksons dive shop is a 1 minute walk up the road. They were fantastic. Mellisa also recommended a driver, Marco. He was the best and we never needed a rental car.
