We were so pleased with our stay! Beautiful location, wonderful sandy bottom lake, privacy, comfort, very well equipped kitchen. We will definitely book again!

Wonderful relaxing place for the 2 of us. Tubs and Hot tub are extremely nice. Room for 6. We cooked, grilled, and relaxed. It was a perfect place to stay for us. 2 bathrooms, but only 1 shower. Something for a larger group to be aware of.

We Had a family reunion “staycation”!! This Was a perfect spot. Open space for the play pen and baby toys! Beautiful view & yard. We brought our own groceries and stayed in. The kitchen was very workable and had all the kitchen tools we could have needed. The wood stove was such a relaxing mood setter. The outdoor hot tub was lovely! (2 ppl) The deck was perfect for enjoying the outdoors with babies! Host had loads of little fine touches. Washer & dryer worked great! Parking was good, right next to the door and no stairs needed. Felt right at home and very comfortable! This is a perfect location of longer stays!

Everything that you could have possibly needed was available. Close to a small little town that had restaurants, grocery store etc. The views in and around the cottage were spectacular

What an amazing location. Boardwalks, white sandy beach, clean, quiet, and relaxing. Pictures and descriptions don’t do it justice. A wonderful retreat for anyone. Will definitely return!

Me and my children had an amazing stay, we felt very comfortable and the place was super cozy, we felt right at home. The beds were very soft, the place was very clean, and the over all atmosphere was very peaceful and not to mention the place is just absolutely beautiful. The views were out of this world from the front of the house and the back, we even woke up to a family of deer outside right outside the window. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and singing karaoke, we even got to enjoy a nice outside fire in the fire pit and roasted some hot dogs and marshmallows. Chelsi was also very friendly and helpful from the time I booked until the time we left, and answered any questions I had right away. We definitely will be back in the future, hopefully sometime this summer 😊

Stayed for two weeks at the the Little Red Cottage - what a find (both the accommodation and the host, Valentina)! Perfectly placed, only a 15-20 walk (pavemented) to Annapolis Royal and the lovely selection of eateries and shops and renowned Saturday market. House was spotlessly clean and had everything you could wish for. The outside was the perfect spot to watch the stunning sunrises and to relax around the fire pit in the evening. We will definitely be back!

Idyllic location with a panoramic view of the Bay of Fundy. Christine and Andy are warm and welcoming hosts with lots of suggestions for activities. Extremely responsive. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Great place in fox harbour, Steve was a very responsive and helpful host. The property was private and nice. The cabins were clean and comfortablely accommodated a group of 10. Would recommend this stay for any group looking to be in the area!

We had a lovely getaway. Brenda and Larry are very responsive hosts and take meticulous care of their property. A nice private lot and only a short walk to the beach or 25 min drive to Charlottetown. Comfortable beds and furniture. Our dogs loved it too. Thanks for having us!

Our stay was fantastic! The setting, beautiful. The colored leaves out the front window were stunning. The kitchen was well stocked. Bed was very comfortable. Great places to walk with our dog. Truly central to Cavendish in the north and Charlottetown in the south. Would love to come back.

As advertised. Close enough to Charlottetown and out in the country near water. My grandson enjoyed the pool. Nice and quiet even on the weekends. Aundrea was a wonderful host

We are so grateful to Katelyn & Lee for helping us pull off a magical experience for our family (17 total) who spent 6 days at this gorgeous property. The Anchorage House has plenty of space to gather & lots of nooks for small groups or privacy. There are amble bathrooms, which is essential for a big group. The hot tub was delightful-hosts even stopped by to freshen it mid-stay. They recommended a local caterer, the Savary Plate, who provided incredible meals, but the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking for a large group (which we did one night) and even has a commercial dishwasher! The location is perfect-we made day trips to Lunenburg, Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, and Digby for whale watching—not to mention local beaches minutes away. But we were just as enchanted sitting on the porch or down on the dock (evening kayaking). If characters were unlimited, I could go on and on about this wonderful property, but I also must mention the thoughtfulness of our hosts who felt like friends.

PAM &J.P on été extraordinaires. Nous avons été ravis par notre séjour et sommes tombés en amour avec la Nouvelle-Ecosse. Les animaux étaient un extra inattendus. Gustave va beaucoup s’ennuyer de Maple. Petit commentaire QUI N’EST PAS UNE CRITIQUE. Le réfrigérateur n’est pas très grand alors, ne pas faire une trop grosse épicerie à chaque fois. Nous sommes arrivés avec trop de choses et tout ne rentrait pas. Mais encore une fois ce n’est pas grave. Il y une épicerie pas tres loin. Ça se fait très bien. Faut juste pas prévoir trop longtemps d’avance si vous avez une grosse famille comme la mienne. La piscine est extraordinaire!!!!! Près de pleins de belles plages . Nous avons passé un super beau moment en famille!!!

Fantastic hosts. Dream heritage property with total privacy and a heated pool in a park like setting; we booked that property pretty much every year for the last seven years. Rob and Barb are constantly improving the property, there is always something new to discover, whether it's a new appliance, or a brand new landscaped river frontage inviting you to sit and watch river and ocean life whilst sipping a glass of tasty red provided with the welcome basket. We enjoyed eating out at the Lunenburg restaurants, as much as we enjoyed cooking a delicious meal at their place, which is fully equipped, one can easily cook up a gourmet meal. Golden! Great place to stay and a great price! Joelle is very welcoming and makes you feel at home. She is quick to respond and provide any help if needed during your stay. Nice quiet place out in the country. Peaceful and quiet. Just a short drive into town.

This is our third time at Moniques and it is more wonderful each time. Monique is a professional host and the house is spectacular. What a wonderful part of NB especially for us, as our kids are in French immersion. Beach right down from the house is beautiful and everything you need can be bought locally. We drove into Shediac for a couple patio meals and pier jumping. So sad to head home but we will be back to NB!

Our second time at this great location. Close to Annapolis Royal that includes the terrific Farmer's Market on Saturdays and shopping in the quaint downtown area. Grandkids LOVE the hot tub.
