This place was a very nice place and met our needs very well. Lots of space for our group of 8, beds were comfortable and the kitchen stocked with the essentials for making meals. The table in the dining room was nice and long and easily had space for our group to share many enjoyable meals together. The hosts were very helpful and responsive and even left us a bottle of local wine as a gift! We would certainly consider staying here again!

We had a great weekend at this beautiful Wentworth Hideaway! A perfect spot for a ski weekend with family, minutes from the hill so we could go back for lunch and be back on the hill in no time and also the hot tub was amazing to relax in after a full day of skiing. Mark was a great host, so friendly and responsive, and his place is so beautiful inside and out. We had a blast and can’t wait to visit again. Would highly recommend the Wentworth Hideaway!

Benjamin was very responsive , and proactive to solve a problem for our stay !! The property was as described , clean and had an airy flow . The location was calm and quiet , which made for a restful stay !

We had such an awesome stay at this Airbnb! Lots of room for a big group of people. Only a 35min drive from Crabbe mountain. It was so nice to relax in the hot tub after a full day of skiing. We had a wood fire burning while we played board games and watched the hockey game in the living room (which has lots of seating). Great spot...and I can imagine it must be even better in the summer with the view! Only downside is that the beds aren't very comfortable.

Six of us stayed at this cottage for a weekend; it was great! Very spacious, and had everything we needed for a convenient stay, and then some. Nancy was a fantastic host; very responsive and friendly. Worth mentioning that the fireplaces weren’t working; not a deal breaker for us whatsoever, but if the weekend would have been romantic in nature, it may have been slightly disappointing for some. No TV’s in the bedrooms either; worth mentioning since some pictures in the listing may be out of date. Hot tub was a great add on! Washer and dryer on both levels too! We did find the bedrooms a bit cold. Nancy responded to me quickly on this issue, even though we didn’t ask her to do anything about it… I’m sure she would have. She even offered to bring us blankets; very kind! Overall, I highly recommend staying here. The views are stunning and it’s absolutely serene. Will definitely be back!

We just wanted to get away from HRM for a night and this spot matched what we needed perfectly. The location was good but the accommodation was absolutely perfect: bright, spacious, modern organized! The tub was a highlight as we stayed in wintertime. Enjoyed the flurries even, well from the tub anyways. The hosts were proactive, and friendly. … wish their lab had come to say hi but oh well…. Maybe next time as we do plan to return in the future. Cheers from Ron and Angela.

Had a great stay over Valentine's weekend at this spot! We really enjoyed the spacious kitchen & den, the hot tub, and the beautiful frozen surroundings. If you're coming in winter, make sure your car is up to the task of scaling the hill on the way out. Winter tires are a must! I took a few attempts to get out, but Lisa was a huge help in getting us safely on our way.

Had a lovely stay at Brittany’s place. It’s a beautiful home - very comfortable and well appointed. Loved that there were plenty of good quality dishes - something you don’t always find in short term rentals! Also loved the spotless hot tub. Thanks for a marvelous stay!

Our group friends and I had such a great visit and stay in your beautiful home that had all the necessities to make our stay pleasant and homey. We enjoyed the beautiful sunrise every morning, had a few bond fires under the clear night sky. It served as a great base for visiting the beaches and local area too. We highly recommend it!!

We absolutely fell in love with this spot!! What an amazing custom home with so many incredible details. It’s a dream come true getting to stay in a home this nice. The kitchen area is the perfect place to all hang out, with literally the largest kitchen island I’ve ever seen. The indoor pool was definitely the highlight of the weekend, but having the bar/lounge area to watch the hockey game was an awesome setup. I don’t think there is a better Airbnb on the market in the Maritimes! Thanks so much for hosting

We stayed at Dean’s place for a family vacation. It was the perfect venue for our holiday and had absolutely everything we needed to make our stay memorable and amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a private spot on the island with beautiful surroundings and great amenities. The entire place was absolutely spotless and well maintained. Dean was an exceptional host and greeted us on the first day to show us around and answer any questions we had about the property. Thank you Dean for the wonderful hospitality and enjoyable experience!

It was a little bit of a drive to get to the boardwalk and the local sites and attractions. But I expected that for the price. It was an excellent value. My housemates were extremely friendly and helpful. I would want to stay there again if I get back to the area, and I would recommend it for other travelers.

Amazing views, beautiful country

This house was absolutely wonderful! It was spotless and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. The decor was beautiful and really added to the cozy ambiance. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The hot tub was an amazing bonus and the perfect way to relax. I highly recommend booking this place - you won't be disappointed!

What a wonderful place to relax! Everything was perfect, from the fully stocked kitchen to the comfy patio lounge chairs & bed, the fire pit with lots of wood all chopped & ready to go and best of all the hot tub! Bonus was the visiting deer which were fun to feed using the supplied apples! Highly recommend this secluded cottage on the river if you’re looking for a quiet getaway! The cottage was exactly as described in the listing! We booked this cottage because it was so close to our daughter’s wedding but it ended up being a mini vacation as well! Thank you!

Kim and Jon were absoluteky amazi g hosts. The details and thoughts that have gone into the property are amazing. Kim went so far to write a little note for me to read to my son (3) and make sure he felt at home in the space. We love it SO much he has asked every nught since "when can we go back to cabin" So clearly we will be back at somepoint

Attention to details in this little chalet was beyond expectations. You start off by walking into a space that feel comfy, cozy and inviting. Music coming from Stacey’s personal playlist added to the chill atmosphere. Let’s not forget those special touches like lemon water in the fridge, and eucalyptus hanging in the shower adding to the spa retreat feeling. The Spa was as nordic as they come. It was a very cold couple of days but the wood stove and the heated mattress kept us warm. We loved taking advantage of the hot tub and saunas that was in the building right next to us. It was also a treat to have an outdoor campfire that Stacey and Brian graciously offered to start for us if we needed any help. Our crazy lab was also very welcomed and had a great time exploring, chasing a frisbee and meeting Cora. This was our first time here and will not be the last. Looking forward to exploring this property in the warmer months in order to take advantage of the river.

Peaceful and clean. Had a nice relaxing ski weekend with the family. Exactly what we were expecting.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kara’s. Everything was as described and the extra amenities and personal touches were much appreciated (condiments, spices, board games, Disney channel, extra pillows/blankets, bath robes, etc.). The location is perfect, very close to Poley where we enjoyed a wonderful day of skiing. Kara was very responsive to any questions I had. Would definitely return and highly recommend this location for a peaceful relaxing vacation.

Beautiful cabin across from Sutherland lake. Enjoyed the wood stove and hot tub! Would stay again :)
