We had a wonderful stay at this cottage on the water. The home is decorated beautifully and the views were spectacular. It was colder when we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor space. Even so, it was nice to just sit on the couch or the window seat looking out at the water. Dinner at Bocado in Picton was amazing, as well as the pot pies at Quaich & Banter.

The place was very clean and week equipped. The bottle of wine and snacks left for us was a nice touch. The lot tub was definitely the highlight!

Me and a group of girlfriends had a great weekend away! We stayed for two nights and the hosts check in to make sure we had everything we needed😊 . It is very close to many wineries. The beds were also very comfortable! Thank you for a great stay!

Rebecca is an excellent host! We were getting out of a disastrous Airbnb and she took us in last minute no problem, even let us have an early check in. Place is lovely, quiet and relaxing. Host is super responsive. I would only note that the internet isn’t great, so don’t expect to work while there, but why would you? Enjoy the beautiful surroundings and relaxing hot tub instead! Will definitely be back 🤩

This place is such a gem. Attention to detail and comfort was incredible. Our girls’ weekend was perfection. The sauna is a must, the view from the hot tub is gorgeous (even in an icestorm), the pottery for coffee was stunning, the beds were soooo comfortable, loads of towels for all of our spa activities, heated floors and a stellar Woodstove. The only problem is that with all of these amenities, you don’t want to leave to explore the area… that’s why next time we will book a longer stay! Thank you Ken and Rachel for this little slice of heaven.

Had such a fabulous stay at this place. It's so beautiful decorated and has a quaintness and calmness to it. Felt very private and quiet. The kitchen isn't overstocked, but had everything you need to cook a delicious meal - even had a meat thermometer. Hosts were friendly and were there if you needed anything. I'd definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful house for our girls weekend. Lots of amenities and plenty of space to relax and enjoy. The view of the river was so peaceful and we saw a bunch of wildlife which added to the woodsy magic of the place. Amanda was an excellent host, super responsive with all the details laid out and looked after. 10/10 would recommend and we hope to come back again!!

Scott’s place was amazing to visit! Lots of activities to do. Great for families looking to get away from the city. Would definitely recommend and go back!!!

Our stay was great! No issues whatsoever, host was accommodating and friendly, house had everything we needed, we stayed for work, so didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit with wood provided which I thought was very nice of the hosts! Water was not potable but the hosts leave you lots of drinking water, and water to make coffee!!

We spent New Year’s at Leah’s place, and it was absolutely amazing. Her guest house is so cozy, and she’s an incredible hostess. Not to mention, her place is dog-friendly, which made it even better! It was such a memorable way to ring in the new year.

Just had a fabulous, relaxing family stay at Little Blue Heron Cottage! The cottage is stunning, with amazing lake views in a peaceful, private cove. The cottage interior was beautifully set up for both shared family activities and the opportunity for private reflection. An excellently stocked kitchen and three relaxing bedrooms with very comfortable beds definitely elevated our stay. Would love to experience this cottage in a different season and would be happy to recommend it to anyone.

We had a great stay at Jeff and Jenn’s place, it was slightly difficult to locate for the first time but they gave extremely helpful instructions which made it easier! The place was very clean and felt cozy. Our 2 dogs loved the outdoor space, I would just caution going around this time of year as the ground was pretty muddy so be aware you’ll have to wipe those dirty paws off. Overall it was a great stay and we would love to stay in the summer as the property is right on the water! Thanks for an amazing weekend :)

We had an amazing stay at Caroline’s place. A very relaxing weekend getaway. The place smelled clean as soon as you walked in. The beds were so comfortable and clean. The sauna was amazing while it was snowing, very cool feature !! Has everything you need from entertainment to dishes, we finished a couple puzzles while we were there and there were tons of games and the tv has surround sounds so it was great for hockey games and movies! Would love to stay again in the summer. The description of the place was 100% accurate. Thanks for hosting us !!

We had an amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome thanks to Casey and Moose who went out of their way to create a warm, inviting vibe. The place was spotless and had everything we needed to feel right at home. It was peaceful and private, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The little touches, like cozy blankets, fully equipped kitchen, and thoughtful amenities such as multiple streaming options and games, really made the stay easy and enjoyable.

Thank you, Xaoxu, for hosting my friends and I! Our group was a mix of Canadian and exchange students, and the memories we made here will last a lifetime. It was the perfect send-off for their time in Canada, from cooking traditional dishes together to roasting s’mores by the fire and simply enjoying nature. The cabin had everything we could possibly need—plenty of fuzzy blankets, video games for some fun downtime, and a kitchen stocked with equipment that made cooking together even more special. Your quick and thoughtful communication made booking seamless, and your clear instructions ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. I also cannot thank you enough for coordinating the safe return of my laptop as a University student with no car, even after we’d been reminded to check my belongings! We truly appreciate your hospitality and would love to stay again in the future!

South Bay Cottage is truly a perfect and lovely lake getaway. Drive off the main road and into your own private cove outfitted with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Once inside, the view of Lake Stoney can be seen through the large windows from anywhere in the main room. The sunsets and starry skies were so peaceful - and even though locals told us it was unusual - we actual had an amazing view of the Northern Lights! We loved that this cottage included all the linens we needed and lots of areas to get cozy and read a book - including the extra-special gazebo. While the kitchen area is small - it is well equipped with everything we needed. Close to great hikes (Petroglyph Provincial Park, High Falls at Eels Creek, Warsaw Caves, and many others.) Also great to explore the area's great golf courses, Wanderlight Alpaca walks (a must do), Peterborough Pete's hockey, Peterborough theatre, and amazing restaurants in Lakefield (Loon, Cassia, and more). Melissa was a wonderful host!

What a great spot The Rogers Retreat is! Such cozy spaces inside for family hangouts, and a beautiful view of the lake. We appreciated all the amenities and comfy furniture. It was the perfect backdrop to our cousins' reunion. Chris was a welcoming host - very accessible and great communication. Thanks for everything!

Me and my friends stayed at Catchmore Resore and had a great time! we stayed in cottage #2 and had no complaints. We had a nice view of the water, took advantage of all the fun activities available, found the beds to be very comfortable and staff to be extremely friendly/helpful! only downfall to this cottage is that the shower head isn't adjustable...so the shorter guest found the shower hard to use. However there were other communal showers located on property so it wasn't the end of the world. overall we had a great time at this location and would recommend!

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay during the last week of August! Some of our favourite parts of the place include: the canoes/kayaks that were available to use at our leisure, the check-in process being seamless, the essentials being provided (all kitchen supplies, beach towels, shower supplies), the other amenities (board games, BBQ). The place itself is quite beautiful. The dock with the chairs, the fire pit (even though we did not use) and the solarium were all stunning. I would just mention that it is a bit smaller of a place inside, so did find it a bit cozy and tight in the rooms. Also, the place is supplied with quite a loud window AC so sometimes it would get a bit loud/warm in the place. However, we would still give the place a 5/5 all things considered.

There was an issue at check in as the bunkie was locked but the host was very responsive and handled everything quickly and effectively. After that we enjoyed the beautiful property. Caught some fish right off the dock!

C’était un bel endroit dans une belle communauté. L’emplacement était parfaite, près de la plage, des commodités, bon restaurants, café. À environ 12 minutes du centre-ville et de la plage. L’hôte a laissé un cahier avec les endroits recommandables à visiter. Bel attention! La plupart des choses semblait propres mais certaines détails restaient à désirer (rideau de douche sale, robinet de la cuisine encrassé, certains équipements de cuisine abîmé ou brisé, verre à vin avec des tâches de lèvre). Soyez attentif au moment de la location afin que les services annoncés soient offerts (location d’équipement aquatique, animation). Autrement, l’hôte a été très réactif et agréable! Nous recommandons cet endroit et nous envisageons y retourner.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ken's place. We stayed during a pretty nasty ice storm so it was incredibly helpful that we had the back-up generator. His maintenance guy Bill was great at checking in with us and making sure everything was working as expected.

Great location, very close to the Sandbanks park entrance. The location is beautiful and the ammenities are great. The beach is super nice, there's a family pool and an adult pool, tennis courts, etc. We spent a great week there :)

Absolutely spectacular. Hidden gem! If you are looking for something private but still within a 15-20minute drive to groceries this is the place to stay! You won’t be disappointed. Comfortably holds a family of 6! We had an absolute blast! Stunning property and open concept cottage. Lots of natural light and gorgeous view from the living room! The dock and wrap around deck were absolutely beautiful to enjoy for sunrise and sunset! 2 hour drive to Ottawa and 2 hours to Gatineau National Park! Highly recommend the drive into Gatineau park! And Pink Salmon trail! If you have fur babies, this park is very restricted due to the sensitive eco system! Really cute shops and restaurants in downtown Ottawa and in Gatineau Park! We absolutely will be coming back (: Thank you Rachael for being an incredible host! Very responsive to requests and very accommodating !
