This is a charming property. It is beautifully decorated with a lovely selection of artwork on the walls and a pleasing selection of fabrics and colors - very homey and cozy. We didn't use one room much where the table was because it wasn't heated and the temperature was cool outside. It's a nice room that would have been good to use but we were fine without it. We enjoyed the fire pit a couple of evenings with a view of Lake Superior and the sound of the waves.

The place was comfy cozy and peaceful. The Northern lights were incredible right from the deck!

Pete and Tanya were very helpful for our stay. It was supposed to be a snowmobile trip but the weather quickly took a turn. They were very helpful in letting us know the conditions and suggested alternatives.

The Summer House was very clean, peaceful, & the perfect size for our big family. It was very much like the photos except for some work being done on the exterior, lawn & garden items left out, and the grill not included in the amenities as noted. The kitchen was well stocked, everything was very clearly labeled, there were plenty of linens, books, & games. Khou was very responsive and friendly; when the Roku TV was not allowing us to access guest mode, Pao drove over and fixed it right away when it was convenient for us. The home was close to town, but still very quiet and serene. Lovely during the 3rd week of October during the peak of fall foliage. We would not hesitate to stay there again, or at any of Khou’s other listings!

Perfect for a girls weekend getaway. Absolutely beautiful area and a short drive to Bayfield. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a northern getaway.

Had a great quiet weekend at this marvelous place! Was fortunate to have a snow day which just made the views that much more wonderful & was a great excuse to curl up on a couch with the heaters going to make it extra cozy. Well stocked & supplied for any needs that came up if we had gotten snowed in!

We absolutely loved our stay here!! The house was spotless and felt very clean! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make meals. We used the jet tub every day, but take note that it takes about an hour and a half to fill up! And I had forgotten my shampoo/conditioner at home and realized too late that there was nothing at the house. So make sure to pack your own! Overall, it was the perfect place to escape with my family! A quiet, cozy getaway. We would definitely stay here again. Our kids were already asking when we’re coming back as we pulled out of the driveway:)

Absolutely loved our stay here!! It was beautiful, clean, and really well stocked with spices, coffee, etc!! It was also very warm during chilly temps. Rachel left so many local recommendations, clear instructions, and all the things to make our stay as enjoyable and comfy as possible!! I will absolutely be stayed here again in the future! You're also very close to the state park, which is a complete bonus!

An incredible space at the end of a private drive, overlooking the lake. The space was warm and welcoming, literally and figuratively! Loved the front sitting room with floor to ceiling windows to sit and sip coffee and enjoy the views. The proximity to the neighboring Houghton Falls preserve was enjoyed using the trail on the property. Peaceful, relaxing, made use of the large fire pit outdoors with the lake in the background. Close enough to town if you forget something and need to run in real quick, otherwise peaceful privacy to enjoy nature and the beautiful surroundings.

Viv’s place was very homey - I loved all the local art throughout the space. Had everything we needed and was clean. Easy to find even after walking from the ferry without cell service. :) On our way out, we already wanted to plan our next trip back to Madeline Island! With the location, I highly recommend bringing your car (as Viv suggested) or at least your own bikes since the rental place closes early. I’d definitely stay here again but would bring my own pillow. The ones provided were firmer than I’m used to, but my partner had no issues! Thank you, Viv!!

Great place to stay! Everything is exactly how it looked in the pictures. Everything you’ll want to get to is within a 20 minute drive! Very helpful hosts!!

This cute place perfectly met our needs for a visit to family. It was shoulder season and rainy when we were there so we didn't walk around the little area where the condo is located but I'm guessing it was beautiful so close to the lake.

Very unique location and views! Easy to get to with easy access to downtown!

The Outer Island Apartment was lovely as always. We enjoy coming up here annually for our anniversary and we are delighted each time we stay at Molly's place with a large covered porch, windows that show us the beauty of the great waters of Lake Superior, ease of parking, super comfortable king bed, a walk in shower, super comfy towels and robes, and a sweet kitchen space that allows us to prepare and reheat food, brew coffee, and chill our cold drinks in the frig. The Windseeker group is from our understanding, a woman owned management group and they certainly tend to their role with diligence, quick responses, extra touches, bright smiles, and a kindness that is a joy to experience. We will return, and hope they put us in the weekend for 2025 for us to celebrate our anniversary once again, in a peaceful and restful place. Gratefully, Kathleen & Brian

The location was perfect for our trip and the space provided everything we needed.

Me and my friends had a great stay. The cabin was clean and included lots of amenities for a comfortable time. The outdoor sauna was an added bonus! We loved how cozy and warm the cabin was, especially with the pellet stove turned on.

We wanted to spend some downtime in the north woods after the holidays, and the tiny house was exactly what we were looking for! The kitchen was well-stocked and everything was just perfect. Reading, eating, sleeping, relaxing in the sauna, and just taking in the beautiful wintry surroundings was so peaceful. Saw lots of wildlife, including a resident red fox. It was also close enough to Bayfield to check out local restaurants and bookstores, and take the ferry to Madeline Island.

The cabin was cozy and clean. It had kitchen tool essentials (silverware, plates/bowls, salt/pepper/tea, cleaning supplies). The bathroom was clean and a short, pretty walk from the cabin. Nice for a winter getaway in the woods but within a short drive to Washburn or other points on the South Shore.

This was such a wonderful to place to go for my solo weekend away! Quiet, cozy, and relaxing. It was everything I needed to recharge. Rachel and Erin were very responsive to a couple questions I had after check-in (sorry I didn't respond! Unplugged!) The cabin is walkable to Herbster Beach which was fun to walk along to find some cool rocks for my kids. I also checked out the local restaurant, The Cranberry Over Superior, which was super close and super good! I highly recommend the cheese curds and burger! :) I wish I could have stayed another day to rest & relax!

We have stayed at several other Airbnbs and David's rental is by far the best. Beautiful setting!

Had a fun weekend at hygge. 5 min to Birkie Trailhead, beautiful white pine (pinus strobus) surrounding the cabin, super efficient space, cute. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location, and lovely cabin. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, sitting outside in the morning, and stars at night. We cooked a little in the kitchen, and there is also a grill and firepit outside.
