We are a group of 5 couples who enjoyed our reunion immensely. The house was spacious, well presented with a very well equipped kitchen. Lovely swimming pool and a walk way to the beach just across the road. So convenient. Town close by but we spent many happy hours sitting out on the balcony and also playing 8 ball on the pool table. Thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic place in a great location. Just minutes from Long Beach and a comfortable walk into town either via the road or the beach. Glorious.

Absolutely loved staying here and did not want to leave. The most beautiful home with gorgeous decor, well thought out room designs and furnishings and incredible kitchen for cooking in on the most beautiful property you could be on, unbelievable gardens for walking amongst with wonderful varieties of flowers and fruit trees in full bloom including well maintained veggie garden, with the most friendly, lovely unintrusive property manager available if you need her. Can not wait to go back again very soon, thank-you

The location was excellent, walking distance to the beach. Place was clean and amenities were excellent. It is an old house but well maintained. Host is very responsive to texts which was much appreciated. Only one feedback: if small/stand fans could be provided for the three bed rooms instead of one, it would be great. The day was very hot. What a great place to use as a base to explore the south Australian Limestone Coast!! So relaxing to return to a spacious place with amenities that make life easy. Charmaine is also very responsive, thank you for a great time!

This was a great place to stay. Very very spacious with lots of room to relax and unwind. Great location, not far from beach. Tania had everything nice and clean, and ready to go with everything you would need. Definitely recommend.

Felt right at home for a robe getaway. Perfect for the family.

An unusual location, in that there isn’t much else in this little town, but worth it to stay in this gorgeous and different church conversion. Tastefully decorated and containing everything you need for a comfortable stay, I would highly recommend this as a place to gather with your friends and family. My horse mad daughter was so excited about the horses that live in the paddock next to the property, Jes even supplies you with carrots to feed the horses with. Overall, a luxurious and peaceful stay in a lovely home that I would recommend to anyone.

Ideal for a large family, peaceful and within walking distance to shops and beach. The house is very spacious and well appointed.

Helene's place fitted the bill perfectly. The house was just what we were looking for and the setting was lovely overlooking the beach and the bay. Helene was particularly helpful even to the point of leaving us a load of fresh Mullet which we cooked for our dinner. We really enjoyed our stay in Southend and our mornings and evenings sitting on the balcony eating breakfast and dinner and watching the fisherman come and go. We can thoroughly recommend Helene's place for a stay and can almost guarantee that any guest will be looked after by Helene as though they were a member of her own family.

Sorry for late review it’s been a big week followed by busy weekend 🤣 your place was absolutely lovely, had everything we needed, comfy beds plenty of cooking utensils, cozy lounge room and a good shower with good water pressure. I regularly head to mount gambier for girl so i hope it’s available next time I’m up that way 🤞 thanks again.

Jordan is a very helpful and friendly host. The house was immaculate with plenty of games, books, suggestions of local places to visit and recommended shops - even an itinerary if you needed direction on what to do on your stay. Jordan was extremely receptive to our big dog coming along for the holiday, even providing all the necessities for dogs. We spent a lot of time playing Finska, great fun! Highly recommend Jordan as a host.

We enjoyed our stay. Nice and quiet location which we love. Lots of kitchen equipment. Lovely.

So much charm and history this retro beach cottage takes you back in time! You can spend hours just exploring all the trinkets and photos and art clad around the place. Loved it! Thanks for the time warp - what beach accomodation should be!!

Susan’s house was lovely! The location was perfect, so close to town, and easy access to a secluded little beach. We could easily walk everywhere we needed, it was fantastic to be able to leave the car in the driveway and get everywhere in town on foot! It’s lovely and light in the living area, with a big spacious deck. It was also fantastic to have the coffee machine! All in all, a gem of a spot!

Incredible homestead. Amazing host incredibly helpful and willing to be flexible with check in. Always available if needed anything. Couldn’t recommend this more highly for a group of people.
