What a wonderful, peaceful, and relaxing stay we had at Fern Pond! My husband and I needed a quick getaway to just rest and recharge and this place met every expectation I had about how this weekend would pan out. The vibe in the house is so cute and not "stuffy." Checkin/entering the house was a breeze. You walk in feeling right at home which is exactly what we were hoping for. You walk in to a quaint living room with a beautiful wood burning stove and a really nice kitchen with everything you need to cook. The master bedroom is set in the back and the king-sized bed is sooo comfortable. The perfect firmness - my back was so happy! The bathroom was also so pretty and clean. I loved the little office off of the bedroom with the cutest guestbook which made us feel so wanted and welcomed. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing at night amongst the quiet setting of the woods. The icing on the cake was lighting a fire in the wood burning stove and just relaxing on the couch. 10 out of 10!

We had a wonderful stay! 10/10 definitely recommend!! Communication was top tier, and we felt right at home.

What an awesome trip! The cabin and backyard was beautiful and we loved the hot tub. We recommend visiting Kent Falls and Craft Kitchen and Bar. Overall totally worth every penny and would love to visit again!

This was a great, cozy house for our large group getaway. There were 10 of us and we slept comfortably, although I would say more than that and it would have been tight. The living area with fireplace is super cozy and the kitchen and dining areas were expansive. We loved having use to the hot tub under the gazebo for our snowy retreat. The pool table room was a little cold (there's a space heater so you can make it work) and not quite what I expected from the pictures, so we didn't hang out there as much as I thought we would. All in all, we had everything we needed, the house was clean and well stocked, and Seth was ultra communicative and helpful.

What a peaceful, cozy place to unwind and recharge. Kristin was very prompt, courteous, and informative from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated how the place was lit up (including the fireplace) with soothing background music playing as we entered the cabin, it was a warm welcome after a long drive in the freezing rain. The cabin was very private with a great view, and if you wanted to check out the surrounding area there are many places to visit, including Kristin's recommendations. All the amenities were as advertised. We especially enjoyed cooking our meals together utilizing their long and linear kitchen setup from the sink to the oven. Bedroom was very snug and both interior and exterior lighting felt very relaxing and, last but not least, beautiful sunrise and sunset. Overall a great vibe, was a great winter wonderland experience. We'd love to visit again in spring and autumn.

The cabin at Mountaindale was perfect for a little getaway. Set back from the road with a very private yard, the cabin itself is very cozy and the perfect blend of modern design and creature comforts while still feeling completely immersed in a camping experience. Gotta say we also LOVED how many windows there are. Within 15 minutes of arriving we were able to spot a bald eagle perched in a tree! A drove of turkeys appeared outside the next morning. The pond is serene and gorgeous as well. The kitchen is well-stocked, the bathroom is beautiful, and the wood stove works very nicely. Also the hot tub was perfect for a good soak after a long day. Alex is an incredible host. Very helpful and responsive, and it's so clear that he cares about this property and wants to make it a special experience for his guests. I would give this more than 5 stars if I could! We will definitely be going back

This was the perfect weekend getaway for us! It was extremely cozy and peaceful and had everything you could need to make your stay stress free! We really enjoyed both the indoor fireplace and fire pit along with the hot tub! Would love to plan a trip back in the future!

Beautiful cabin. I enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend this cabin for families or couples or even a friends trip. The cabin is cozy, stocked with a few games, TV, and the backyard + patio puts you at peace. I had an amazing trip. If you want a little peace outside the cabin, I recommend heading out the cabin to Dingsmans Falls not too far away.

My wife and I had an amazing stay at the Bear Cabin. It was cozy, inviting, and made even better with the gas fireplaces. My wife loved the natural sunlight, the swing, and the ability to keep the windows open for fresh mountain air while staying warm. I enjoyed cooking on the fantastic gas range, and bringing our Bernese Mountain Dog made it even better. The location was perfect, just 10-20 minutes from numerous beautiful waterfalls, and we hiked nearby trails, capturing stunning photos. One small suggestion: labeling the direction for hot water on the shower nozzle would be helpful. Otherwise, everything was perfect. The highlight was enjoying a cozy fire under a starry sky. The peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty made it a memorable trip. Thanks for the clean, comfortable, and pet-friendly accommodations! We highly recommend this hidden gem and are grateful for the unforgettable experience.

Nicki's cabin was perfect for my husband and dog during a 2 night stay for the weekend. The cabin is located in a private and peaceful location. Perfect for birding right from indoors in the early morning. Spent cozy nights by the indoor fireplace. Our pup also loved the outdoor space. I highly recommend to anyone visiting to the Catskills mountain for the first time. Woodstock is also close by, we may return again!

Very nice place, if you’re thinking doing a getaway to somewhere peaceful and quiet,celebration or get together this is the place you’re looking for. The Owners are very nice, great communication. Looking for something to hike or fishing, this is also the place you can look for many nearby places. Overall experience is very nice place to stay, very clean, a lot of comfort in the house. Will sure comeback again!

If your looking for a peaceful trip to the mountains, this place is perfect. It was private but 15-20 mins from a good restaurant and town. The Cabin feels spacious with a nicely designed floor plan. Loft, projector/music room was a good touch! Lots of great hikes in the area, bring crampons during winter months!! We would totally come back here in the future. The host(s) were responsive and helpful with tips from GPS use to pre downloading movies to play from your phone/projector. All cables and adapters were there already. Just bring good vibes, the rest is taken care of!

We had an amazing valentines weekend and my dog couldn’t have had more fun ! This private cabin in the neck of the woods can truly be described as a real getaway ! It has a beautiful landscape and is strapped with everything we needed and more. After a full day of hikes in the local area, we found ourselves snowed in and enjoyed some card games. We had an outdoor fire in the stone pit and made some smores. Colleen and Julian were also super accommodating for us due to the weather conditions as well. They are beyond helpful ! Thank you guys ! Will definitely be back !

Excellent stay for a small group - we only stayed for a weekend, but would be a perfect spot for a weeklong trip as well.

Really cute place. Comfortable beds and Sofas. The propane fire place was ideal. It was cold and icy when we stayed and we pretty much stayed in the whole time. It felt very warm and cozy. John was very responsive and helpful, he made the whole experience very easy for us.

Kevin’s dacha was wonderfully homey, abundantly well-equipped, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The Eastern European decor and theme was inspiring and lovely for us. The wood stove, book collection, and game collection were major highlights for us that made the weekend. The instructions and local guide provided were perfect— we ended up using the suggestions provided heavily— and Kevin was super responsive and helpful when needed. Honestly, one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had! Thanks so much for such a wonderful stay!!

We loved our stay at Joe & Barb's place! The cabin is delightful; beautiful surrounds, peaceful and quiet while being just a short drive from the amenities of New Paltz. Joe gave us great tips for nearby hikes, and we enjoyed a tour of the veggie garden (with full credit to Barb the gardener!), and hearing about the sustainability/eco-friendly initiatives of the property. We have stayed here several times as we walk in peaceful music was playing and the fire place was on. Phoebe is an amazing hardworking woman who works her tail off to keep the property clean. We highly recommend our favorite place to go and shut it down. Such a peaceful place we can’t wait to go back 💯💯💯highly recommend

We had the best time at Amanda s cabin in the woods. So cozy, so comfortable. It was impeccably clean. I wish I could live there. Amanda responded right away, the fact that it is pet friendly is a plus!!! I want to come back as soon as possible. If you want a little getaway, THIS is your spot. My husband, myself and our furry baby had the best cozy time ( FYI: I m all about cozy!) Thank you for everything. For those who are like me, you have found the perfect place! Enjoy 😉

We had a fantastic stay! The place was really beautiful and large! Close proximity to some great sights, and it was very very clean! Rhona was very helpful and responsive and told us we could check in at any time, which made traveling much less stressful! The only thing was that the shower caused a leak above the dining table - it didn’t bother us, Rhona said that it sometimes happens if the shower deism so clogged. Also, good to be aware that you can hear everything through the walls - which was actually helpful for us because we could hear the baby that slept in the room right above us. Didn’t even need the monitor. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come again!

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay at the Forest Nook in Wurtsboro, NY! She’s by far the most hospitable host we’ve ever encountered! She made us feel like family from the moment we arrived & even baked us a fresh blueberry loaf which was a perfect treat after a long flight! Throughout our stay, she went above and beyond her duties as a host. It honestly felt like we had known her for years. Her cabin is breathtaking, with a million-dollar lake view that we will never forget. From sunrise to sunset, you won't find a more peaceful, quiet, or beautiful spot. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to get away from a big city & want a peaceful, relaxing stay. Everything you need is just a short 15-minute drive away in Middletown, and the drive is an experience in itself, winding through a gorgeous green landscape, as if you're cruising through a lush green forest. Vanessa made our stay incredibly comfortable & unforgettable! We will definitely be returning!

Kathy's cabin was exactly what we needed. As city folk, we often look for places that truly take us out of the norm, and this place was just that. It was cozy, clean, and stocked with everything you could need. Everything felt magical from the uniqueness of the renovated sauna to the twinkle lights that greet you upon arrival. We saw deer in the mornings, and at night, the sky was filled with gorgeous stars while the croak of frogs added to the fairyland-like atmosphere. Kathy was also incredibly gracious and accommodating. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay by Derrick and Lori's peaceful woodsy cabin. The place is immaculately kept and so thoughtfully decorated, we felt so cozy and right at home. It snowed, making the surroundings even more beautiful (bonus that it was our sons first snowfall) and we just wanted to stay indoors and enjoy the cabin and there was plenty of entertainment, from the reading nook, to the games, big screen tv, jukebox, and more. The cabin was well heated as well. We particularly enjoyed watching the snow come down in the screened in porch. The beds were very comfortable, our hosts were always responsive and helpful, and we wouldn't hesitate to come back here.
