Rosa’s beautiful rose garden home stay is located right next to the Vashisht paid parking. The home itself is just gorgeous, has Wi-Fi, a small kitchen and all essential cutleries and utensils required for a long term stay. It has a gas stove to cook proper food and also a toaster and an electric kettle. There were a million flowers in the garden and a cherry tree with the sweetest cherries. But it’s the host who’s even more beautiful. I am grateful for the warm hospitality that I received during my stay and the many wonderful conversations. Rosa is very well regarded in Vashisht and I felt that all the shopkeepers are also very kind to her guests. When I needed an early checkin and a late checkout she graciously accommodated me. And I was even lucky to relish some of Rosa’s amazing home cooked food. If you are looking to stay like a local in Vashisht and enjoy the most comfortable stay I cannot recommend this place enough. As for myself I can’t wait to come back.

Amazing host and very proactive, also close to all the cafes and paragliding landing point which makes it more better. if you are thinking of booking it, go for it

Stayed here with my family around Holi and it was exactly the kind of vacation we needed. The property is very quiet and calm. Kids had a great time in the garden, while we sat and enjoyed the beautiful views. The kitchen is fully equipped which made it very convenient to make meals at home. All in all, a lovely and honest stay: Photos on the listing are exactly like the real rooms.

We booked this for some friends of ours. They greatly enjoyed their stay. The place was nice and cozy and away from the touristy crowds. Krishna was responsive to all inquiries. Our friends had no complaints!

We stayed for a week and Muskan & her parents were very nice & ever helpful. They went out of their way to provide all amenities & made sure we were comfortable just like home.

Pros- 1. Abhishek was very responsive throughout the stay. 2. Location is adjacent to the Manaslu river so you can hear sound of river from your room. 3. Rooms were neat and clean. 4. Food was fantastic. 5. Good cafés and bakeries are on walkable distance. Cons - 1. You need to climb at least 50 very step stairs to reach property. 2. There were no street light at the entrance. Overall my stay was fantastic.

Chetan ji is great host and make sure all arrangements are in order. Food is great and gives feel of home food. Thanks to his wife. Location of property is excellent. We enjoyed lot during our stay and highly recommend to others. House is very nicely built to have lot of common areas to sit and enjoy.

We loved our stay in Karuna retreat for 5 days. The place has warm and cozy vibes. The kids loved the media room in the attic. It was a different experience for them. Since we were traveling by our own vehicle, we enjoyed the best of both worlds, the calm and peaceful neighbourhood of Rakkad and the hustle and bustle of Mcleod ganj. Traveling to the Main Square of Mcleodganj took 30 mins. Karuna Retreat is very close to Norbulingka Institute which was a great place to sit and just enjoy some peaceful moments. Star and constellations gazing was our favourite thing to do on the terrace of our beautiful homestay. There were nice home run cafes nearby. A grocery shop was just round the corner. We loved the location. Our host Tenzin was an easy and proactive person to talk to, though we never needed anything as everything was just fine. We loved the collection of books there too. We really hope to come back soon and stay for a longer period of time.

I had an amazing 7-day stay here. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere, far from the hustle and bustle but still easily accessible to key spots in the area. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing a great place to relax after a day of exploring. One of the highlights was the stunning view – the mountains, river, and apple orchards were breathtaking, especially during the early mornings and evenings. Internet speed was very good for workation. Sumit was very friendly and helpful, offering insightful suggestions about local attractions and things to do. He truly made the experience feel personal and warm.

If you’re looking for a cozy, private mountain retreat with amazing views, this is the perfect place. The property is exactly as shown in the profile - calm and beautiful. It's just a short hike to Naggar Castle, nearby temples, and also close to the local chawk and eateries, making it convenient for exploring. Initially planned to stay for a week but ended up extending my stay there. The owner's family lives on the property and they were incredibly welcoming, always ready to help with any requests. Siddharth was also very responsive, assisting with anything I needed. Just a note: The Wi-Fi is pretty good (40mbps), but if you’re planning a workation, it’s a good idea to have a strong mobile network to use your hotspot as a backup. I will surely choose this place again if I come back.

Staying at Soham Villa was the best month of my working career. I was able to get such a tremendous amount of work done on my book and the space was huge. So much bigger than expected and it is honestly the most beautiful place in the world. Their home and Manali combined is unmatched. I highly recommend you visit this place and stay here - remember it’s in the mountains so there will be sometimes power cuts for very short periods of time - that’s just Manali - I have seen a review on a previous listing that states there was a spider and DUH . You are in the MOUNTAINS - they are harmless and friendly and beautiful like everything else here. 10/10 . 15/15. 100/100. Stay here.

Raj was an amazing host. The stay was spectacular, exactly as shown in the pictures and the views are incredible. It’s one of the most quiet and peaceful stay in Manali.

We booked Sukh Sagar to spend a quiet New Year as a family of three, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The host was approachable and very helpful before, upon our arrival and during the stay. The staff was proactive, ensuring our stay was clean, comfortable, and hassle-free on the beautiful Beas river front property. They even arranged a private New Year’s Eve celebration for us, complete with a bonfire and snacks. The flat was spacious, with large bedrooms, a cozy living room featuring a fireplace, and thoughtful amenities perfect for a family stay. WiFi, TV, and ample parking—everything was on point. Full marks for the setup! The surroundings were serene and picturesque, adding to the charm of the place. However, finding the homestay after reaching Dwara can be a little confusing. It’s best to ask for directions at local shops about Dobhi or contact the host for precise guidance. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable stay. Highly recommended!
