Quiet, cozy, and comfortable. Downstairs layout a bit quirky, but we like that and place was very clean. We were not in need of anything, and appreciative of available toiletries that are commonly forgotten. Deck looked like nice place to relax but our weather was rainy. We would stay here again.

This is nice little hide away from the world, felt right at home, lots of space and grass for me to play with my dog. Stacy was very helpful, responsive and great host giving instruction before hand and providing items for my pet. Will always stay again in the future.

Had a great time staying with Dave and Valerie. They were very responsive, communicative, and helpful. They went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. For example, letting me borrow a vaporizer to help me sleep at night when I wasn't feeling well. They even came and picked me and helped me to recover my belongings after I was in a car accident. I hope to stay again in the future if business takes me their way.

Easy check in. Cute little coffee shop right on the corner. It’s centered in a little town so a lot of things are within walking distance. Nice children next door. You do hear trains passing by ALOT ! Haha The house is older & the floors are uneven but it has been upgraded on the inside. It suited us for the time we were there . Overall it was clean & has the basic amenities. Jon was easy to contact & responded in a timely manner . Decent price point.

My family and I needed a large place to gather and stay as we traveled out of state for a family funeral. This home was not only charming but absolutely perfect for our needs. Nancy was very easy to communicate with and was so thoughtful to write a condolence card which really touched me. We traveled from Washington state with our 8 month old for the first time which, and we felt right at home there was a crib, a high chair, and plenty of safe space for our son to crawl around. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and wash bottle which was especially important to us. Nancy generously provided coffee and tea which our family enjoyed together each morning. I really appreciated how easy it was to check in/out it made our travels less stressful. If we are to find ourselves gathering as a large group again I would happily book this beautiful home.

We loved our stay at Spare Oom! The place was quite clean. We were traveling with our exploring 1-year old, and also loved the toys that were provided. What a fun surprise! The fully-stocked kitchen was great, because we often travel with a stocked cooler. We found the bedroom with the pull-out bed to get a bit warm, so we recommend keeping the door open, if possible. Overall, we’d go back if we found ourselves traveling in the area again!

Beautiful home in a very private setting but only 10 minutes from tons of stores and restaurants. Plenty of space for 15 people. Love that there are bathrooms and bedrooms on each level. Very clean. Highly recommend.

Wowza ! One of the nicest most relaxing places we ever stayed ...swanky ❤️ It was perfect, detailed, fresh air , impeccable decor. The 3 seat couch perfect to stretch out and read . Sheets/bedding/decor high end ...so many details met to make it a perfect stay ! Thank-You Karen !

Great location and outstanding value! Jake was super prompt in communicating. Proximity and walkability to lots of restaurants was a plus, and area felt safe enough that we even went out to see the total lunar eclipse at 3am. Would stay again anytime.

We were here for a quick trip, and Ralph was so welcoming, kind, and informative. We spent very few waking hours at the house, but everything was clean and comfortable. Amazing view just steps away from the house!

Shadina was a fascinating host! The place was worth every penny and would definitely recommend it to anyone that would like a relaxing and “right at home” stay!

Getting there was simple, parking was easy, easy access in and out. Walked to get coffee and pastries every morning. Restaurants close by. The apartment was very nice and comfortable. Bedroom was dark and quiet at night. Bathroom had all the amenities that anyone would look for in an Airbnb. Would definitely stay again

This property is a hidden gem in Pittsburgh, perfectly situated just above the charming Mexican War Streets neighborhood. The view of the skyline is stunning, and despite feeling secluded, it’s surprisingly accessible—walking and public transportation made it easy to explore without needing a car. Andrew, the host, was incredibly responsive and accommodating. The space was well-equipped with everything we needed. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit!
