Well appointed & relaxing accommodation in rural surroundings with walks on the doorstep. Very welcoming and responsive hosts.

We stayed in the annex for three weeks, as our son was attending an intensive course of physical therapy at NAPA in Harlow. The property being only on the ground floor was perfect for our son in a wheelchair. There is a step at the front door but we found that this was not at all a problem. Our stay was an extremely comfortable one. It is a beautiful property that is comfortable and well thought out. The annex has both style and substance. It feels like a home. The surrounding farm is beautiful and was a joy to look at. Sally herself is a perfect host - informative, kind and good fun. The only negative from me is that the fridge was too small for our purposes. However, Sally let us kindly use another fridge and I know that she has plans to install a bigger one. All in all, we loved it and we have already booked for later in the year.

The Stables is a truly lovely space. It’s beautifully appointed, spacious, and so peaceful. We loved walking to the grocery store and the little restaurants in town, and Oxford was easily accessible by car or bus. We had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

A real little gem of a place to stay . We absolutely loved our stay here . The Barn was really lovely, immaculate throughout with everything you would need for a stay . Awesome couples weekend away in a beautiful and comfortable barn. One for the memory book. Sally communicated well from the start, describing the simple check-in process and gave local recommendations. Each room in the barn had something special to offer, whether it was the space and views from the mezzanine floor, the accessible room off the lounge with adjustable beds that both had massage function. Or finally, the bedroom closest to the entrance which had the hideaway snug, which we used for our girls chats. The barn comes with Netlfix and all the kitchen utensils that you will need. You just need to bring your own food ingredients if you wish to cook or you can dine out locally or easily head into Cambourne or Cambridge. Sally allowed us to have a very relaxed check-out, as there was no booking the next morning. Great added bonus!!! We will definitely be back again! Thank you so much Sally.

The Farrow was a really nice cosy place to base our holiday (10 day stay). We felt right at home, Claire was super friendly and welcomed us in person. We would highly recommend with Claire as the host.

We had a fantastic stay at the Stonehouse. They were fantastic hosts. The place is filled with artwork and is truly stunning. Everything was as described and the location was fantastic. Being able to have a professional massage and then sit in front of a log burner in a beutiful home was simply amazing. We will be back. Thanks for your fantastic hospitality.

I can not recommend both The Barn and The Hayloft highly enough. I booked both properties for myself and immediate bridal party for my wedding at Dodford Manor. Both properties were spacious, luxurious, beautifully decorated with everything we could have needed. The perfect space to get ready before the wedding. Janice was really helpful in the run up to our stay, always responding to questions within minutes, she went above any beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. When we met Janice and her gorgeous dogs after arrival she was so welcoming, making us feel right at home. Janice I am so jealous of your beautiful home! We will be back again in the future for sure.

We were pleased with our stay in the Annex at Newton House. The accommodation was a good size, and was very clean. The bed and linen were very comfortable, the bedroom was large. Newton is a very small quiet village, we enjoyed the silence and the views. Parking was immediately outside the door. Brian and Georgie communicated well, made us welcome and were flexible. We would recommend the Annex if you want a tranquil escape.

Outstanding hosts. We were super happy to stay with them for a second time! The welcome basket was a really thoughtful gesture and the extra touches like robes and slippers were very helpful.

Perfectly designed and superbly decorated tiny home for 2. Everything about this lovely redesignrd barn was perfect. Crick was also a delight to visit.

A comfortable stay

Fred and Hester’s place was lovely, comfortable and clean. We arrived in the UK very early and Fred very kindly let us into the Airbnb (with prior arrangement) which was very much appreciated. We were also provided with milk, bread, jam and butter in the fridge which was great! The location is also great, it’s only about a 5 minute walk into the centre of town where there’s plenty of shops and cafes/restaurants but at the same time it was dead quiet at night. I would absolutely stay here again if you’ll have us 😁 Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Geraldine’s place was perfect. Lovely and cozy bed was super comfy and the village had everything you need. I was actually gutted that I arrived after eating as there seems to be a lot of choice for food with the three pubs in the village. Geraldine is very friendly and unapproachable, not that I needed it but I got the impression that nothing would be too much trouble. I would happily book to stay here again. I would recommend it.

Had a fantastic stay, the place was beautiful! It had everything we needed and we would happily stay again. A group of 6 women stayed and we had 3 bathrooms and another toilet so it was perfect for us. Kitchen was fully equipped and place was very clean. We had towels for the hot tub and robes too which was a lovely touch! All the instructions were clear and helpful and we had no problems! Thank you again

Great stay lovely location very peaceful. Amazing communication throughout from Susan. Everything is thought of no step missed. The place kitted out with all you need and super clean. Would highly recommend if you fancy an off the grid break!

Steve's Airbnb is lovely, it is well decorated and clean. I loved the sitting room and dinning areas in particular. The grounds are lovely, there was a nice seating area, pergola and BBQ. The only negative I could think of was that the place was cold on arrival but it did warm up by the morning. To be fair to the host the temperature had just dropped and we could have put the fire on but I choose to use a water bottle instead.
