Unser Aufenthalt war rundum gelungen! Der Gastgeber war äußerst höflich und jederzeit ansprechbar. Wenn wir etwas benötigten, konnten wir ihn unkompliziert über Chat Nachricht kontaktieren – er antwortete meist sofort und kümmerte sich schnell um unsere Anliegen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass er uns am Abreisetag zu einem fairen Preis mit dem Auto zur nächsten Unterkunft gebracht hat. Die Zimmer waren schön eingerichtet, die Außenanlage liebevoll und ansprechend gestaltet. Insgesamt eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre – wir können diese Unterkunft eindeutig weiterempfehlen!

This beautiful cottage is small, and perfect for a small family. Since Nuwera Eliya gets a bit cold at night, the cozy bed rooms and the blankets provided by Thidasala came to our rescue. His father took care of us so well, since Thidasala was not in town when we visited. We appreciate that. The view from the room of the Gregory Lake is brilliant. The wifi is good. We had a small kitchen as well. The bathroom was clean and we had hot water. This place is perfect for a small family who wants to enjoy the city, and not be in the rush. Their hospitality was amazing. 5 star from me.

Only stayed one night at Sandun's place, but a fabulous stay. Went on a great safari tour organized my the host, just a few minutes after checking it. The safari was fantastic with a guide who really knows his stuff, with a keen eye, he kept spotting the animals, that would otherwise not been noticed. After the tour we had a great srilankan dinner at the stay, and then again breakfast in the morning. Delicious!! Highly recommend!!

Our recent stay at Koshi's Country Cottage in Ella was truly an amazing and memorable one. The cottage was nicely and colorfully designed to blend with nature. The cleanliness and the scent of nature blowing through the doors were exceptional. The bathrooms and the entire cottage was spic and span! We had 24 hour security around the cottage and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were served with delicious breakfast by the friendly kitchen lady. We recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a safe, clam, serene and relaxing holiday in Ella.

Really nice room, comfortable (but squeaky) bed and cute bathroom. I had a really good night’s sleep before our safari. Don’t expect a cottage in natural surroundings - however it’s conveniently close to the junction where you arrive by bus. The host, Dasun, helped us get the best route for our further travels and it worked like a charm. There’s A LOT of competition on the safari market in Udawalawe and I’d argue he overcharges 25-50% though.

We had a lovely time. We stayed at the cottage. The property is lovely and the meals are great. We enjoyed the beautiful natural pools that are very nearby, and if you are in Ella for hikes and nature, this is a great place to stay. But if you want to be near the train station and town, you may want to look somewhere there. This is in the mountains, which is what we were looking for.

My husband and I spent 3 nights here and felt super welcome by Sandun and his wife. One of the most friendly hosts we have had so far! (And we travel a lot.) Amazing tropical garden and cozy porch to spend lazy afternoons at. Delicious breakfast (included in the price) and option for a dinner (excl but very affordable). They also organized the safari for us and we were very happy with it (also better price compared to other providers such as GetYourGuide). The room/cottage itself is big and has the necessary things to stay safe and comfortable. Just be aware that it is a cottage in the middle of nature, therefore insects easily enter the room and the bathroom - there is a bed net though. Also, bring your own soap and shampoo. And keep in mind that the Wifi is not very reliable there (even from the eSIM), so do not plan a digital working. ;) Overall great value for the money! Recommended! :)

Ajith was an incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and hospitable host. From the beginning of our booking process to the moment we left, he was helpful and kind. He arranged drivers to and from Udawalawa, as well as a safari. He went out of his way to make us feel at home, including accommodating our dietary needs and wants. The food is made on site and is excellent, always served with a smile. I would recommend Ajith’s establishment to anyone passing through Udawalawa! Thanks for everything!

An excellent place to stay for safari. Such friendly and attentive hosts, with delicious dinners and lunches, and took care to make sure we would get the right bus when leaving despite being early in the morning. Organised the whole safari for us which was amazing, highly recommend this! Thank you for a great stay

The little cabana is located next to the main hotel and had a beautiful view. Everything was impeccable. All the staff were fantastic helping us with some useful local tips. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend.

A lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. Although tricky to find with the road up to the cottage being very steep it was worth the drive. Location is quite remote but the host could not have been more helpful and responsive with local recommendations. We also had a lovely tour of the plantation, amazing vanilla pods (just beware of the leeches!) Food was good and the setting for meals was beautiful, but there were a few stray dogs in the garden to be aware of. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you Maljini.

Dieser Ort ist einzigartig. Mitten in der Natur mit einem ewig weitem Blick von Balkon und Bett liegt das Cottage (Flow), zugehörig zu einer kleinen Anlage mit ein paar weiteren Unterkünften. Hier war einfach alles schön. Das Haus mit eigener Küche, der Möglichkeit sehr leckeres Essen zu bestellen, den herzlichsten und interessanten GastgeberInnen und die Natur drumherum. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war sehr professionell und wir konnten viel früher einchecken als geplant. Die Stadt ist mit TukTuk gut erreichbar und man kann tolle Wanderungen durch die Teeplantagen machen, uns haben die süßen Hunde der Unterkunft dabei sogar manchmal begleitet. Wir haben mit Chitra und ihrem Team gemeinsam gekocht und gegessen, viele Ideen für Wandertouren bekommen und habe uns sofort super wohl gefühlt. Absolute Empfehlung wenn man in die Berge will und von den Ella-Touriströmen Abstand braucht und ein bisschen Entspannung sucht. Danke für den Aufenthalt, wir haben ihn sehr genossen!

This is the best place in Nuwara Eliya to stay! I would absolutely recommend it. The front yard was beautiful with a well maintained garden and was such a great vibe to wake up to. But, I would also recommend to stay clear from the care taker(Kumari). We did not have a great experience with her and her communication was not the best which affected our dinner and one of our nights, and she was quite late for check out which almost led to us missing our train. She seemed to be a little nosy and says things out of the blue that stirred up a little conflict and affected our mood that night. But again, the place is the best in Nuwara Eliya and is definitely worth it. Just get your food and laundry from outside instead of depending on the care takers :) Everything else was amazing!!

Komfortable Unterkunft, die in einer ruhigen und sehr grünen Umgebung liegt. Hasith hat für uns eine tolle Safari organisiert, auf der wir teilweise ganz alleine (ohne 100 weitere Jeeps) den Nationalpark erkunden konnten. Frühstück hat er ebenfalls für die Safari vorbereitet. Das leckere Abendessen wird von seiner Mom zubereitet und wird auf der Hauseigenen Terrasse serviert. Wir hatten zwei erholsame Nächte und können Hasith nur empfehlen.

Ajith’s father Mr. Premadasa was very helpful and co-ordinating… He helped us out in preparing barbeque and responded to every query of us… We had a great stay and i would certainly recommend all to stay at this place when in Nuwara Eliya.

Lovely place to stay, beautiful view. There are some broken houses around it but the house itself is all clean and had all we needed. There are 3 bedrooms but one of the rooms is only accessible from a separate entrance, so we had to sleep an adult with a child in there as it felt slightly separate. Host was very welcoming and willing to meet us for check in/check out anytime with tea and coffee freshly made for us. Would recommend!
