We really enjoyed our stay at Caye Casa #35 in Mara Laguna. The home is not on the Caribbean side of the island, but on the lagoon side. We especially loved Tony, the housekeeper, and Terri, the manager. Both of them made our stay wonderful and they each responded to our every need. The house was just like staying at home as everything we needed was provided. We would love to stay there again. The large pool was especially nice on the hot days. The home is very close to San Pedro, which made shopping easy. It's only about a mile from town, so you could even walk. We would definitely recommend this home as a great place to stay if you are on the island of Ambergris Caye.

Great location with everything you need and more. Spacious apartment with amenities. Shower water pressure was a bit low. Bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards readily available. Host made everything easy, ie check in and out, transportation around the Caye, etc. Personnel/staff in the office were almost always available and were very helpful and were a big part of making the experience great. Some late night thumping music from nearby bar but not bad. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and the host was very friendly and responded fast, connected us to people on the island so we had someone nearby to contact and to give us a ride from the boat to the room.

We loved Bobbi's Place, bed were very nice and comfortable, had everything we needed Lots of places to eat close. The pool was perfect and the locals were great ! I felt more comfortable walking around there than I do in the city that I am from. Ron

I rated all a 5-star as very accurate but ironically, the potential fail was that they did not state enough in the AirBNB description as to all the awesome features that were included! The 'beach' (more of a great sitting area to wade in and cool off) was raked every day that were were there for the chair areas (there was debris tangled into the roots and sides) so very safe for our 3 year old to run around barefoot). The roof top hot tub was stated BUT the highlight due to viewing sunrise and sunsets! Look for huge star fishes in the tide pools! Just don't take them! The staff was always cleaning up the pool area and we did get a change over of towels and sheets mid-week. Fresh water always had a spare bottle as we did drink a lot of water and made a lot of ice with it! Beds were comfy and as ocean front, we turned off the AC a lot and just let the sea air in. May not be an option all year but I think we saw one fly make it in. Make sure they have Gustavo be your taxi guy! Reliable!

Expectations were exceeded. This location cannot be beat. we will definitely be booking again. The rooftop hot tub was gorgeous/relaxing and so was the balcony. Thank you for a wonderful vacation getaway.

Caye Reefe Condos are great for a small family or 2 couples. I went with my daughter and we felt safe, were able to walk around and just steps from the beach!

We just had an amazing week, the property is beautiful, had everything we needed. Comfortable, clean and the best view! Loved being in the resort with the housekeeping and amenities. But what really stood out was how helpful Van was. She communicated with me well before the trip, and set up an amazing birthday dinner for our daughter as well as a wonderful day out on a private boat, the Captain was awesome. I highly reccomend booking with Van!

I had a wonderful stay here while I was in San Pedro for a week. Lisa gave tons of useful information and arranged for Dean to pick me up from the airport and Gordo to pick me up from the water taxi. I was diving every day with Belize Pro Dive Center which was not far away. The property is away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, so I thought the location was perfect. Highly recommend!

We booked very spontaneously as we had to cancel another location, because of its bad conditions. Bobbi reacted extremly fast and flexibly, was very warm, friendly and helpful, gave us a great welcome. We loved our appartment, it was so well equipped and very charmingly decorated. We had the best time there and can only highly recommend it. Great to have the pool and the bikes included as well. And, additional treat, there was a mixer in the kitchen, so we could make our own daiquiris with fresh mangos/papayas etc - loved it!

"Oasi" trifft es genau - der Garten und der Pool sind ein schöner, schattiger Rückzugsort. Das Zimmer ist grosszügig geschnitten und es gab mehr Handtücher als benötigt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Gratis-Fahhräder sind Gold wert aufxder Insel und gegenüber gab es abends einen phantastischen Grillstand. Super für alle, die 10 Minuten Fussweg in den Trubel nicht stören!

It was lovely and helpful that the host arranged for direct water taxi with our luggage to the house. The quiet refuge on the north island was a great contrast to the hustle of the south part of the Caye. While there getting around on foot and by water taxi worked well, unless you want to see the estuary on the very north side of the Caye, in which case a bike is a good idea. There were several walkable restaurant options and a small convenience store near the split. We didn’t use the kayak and paddle boards, but the pool was great for heat relief and AC in the bedrooms was nice too. Walter, the caretaker, was super helpful and brought us fresh coconuts / coconut water. Really enjoyed Mario’s snorkel tour.

Gary’s property manager was so helpful! He arranged to get us from the water taxi and brought us our lovely golf cart and everything else we needed during our stay.

Great place to stay and convenient to a lot. A nice quiet side of the island too. The use of free bikes was a really nice addition and I used it to go everywhere. The hosts were always responsive to any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend staying here!

My partner and I were very happy with our stay here. We felt it was an excellent deal for the price. Off the main road but close to town whether walking or with a cart. Grounds were well kept, pool was clean and bar was convenient if you wanted a quiet drink. The staff was very friendly and always available to answer questions or deal with any small things that came up. Great place to stay for an extended (3 or more weeks) stay in San Pedro. We fully intend to come back for our next trip.

Sherilyn’s place was fantastic! We rented the extra apartment on the first floor and stayed with our 2 year old and 4 month old down there and 2 other couples upstairs. Great setup for parents to put kids to bed downstairs and make lots of noise upstairs without waking kids in apartment. We walked everywhere but roads require stable stroller. You can take a golf cart taxi any time also, Sharilyn provided a card on bulletin board. Pool has great shade for beginning and end of day and full sun mid-day. Also fantastic for kids. The couples we stayed with that didn’t have kids had an amazing time and so did we. Place is quiet at night and walkable to nightlife. I walked to the Split in 20 min. If taking a plane, airport is a few hundred yards down the road (though we never heard plan noise). WiFi is strong. Grocery store just down the road for some basics, but better ones in town. Overall definitely recommend her place! You’ll have a hard time leaving!

Micheal’s place is so quiet and peaceful. I will definitely recommend and I will be back to enjoy the pool and quiet vibe.

The house is an A+. Kelin, the property manager was extremely helpful. She went above and beyond in the planning stages (flights from Belize City) and helped with arranging taxis and pizza delivery orders. The complimentary pick-up and drop off from the airport were an added bonus. All in all, both Keith and Kelin could not have been more accommodating and helpful!

This was my third stay at the Tortuga Azul. I’ve come down with friends to dive and relax. The location is very close to the Caulker airport, just a short walk. I would definitely recommend renting a golf cart though. Most of the action in town is a short ride away, and for super early morning dive departures, it’s nice to be able to ride. There is a restaurant basically next door, Suggestion Gourmet. Its not the typical island fare, more of a French place, but it’s the most serene setting. I can’t speak to all of the beds, but the one I’ve slept in every year has been comfortable. The rooms all have individual AC, so you can sleep at your own preferred temp. The property manager, Michael, is quick to respond via What’s App. I will continue to stay at Tortuga for my repeat trips to the island.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in dem kleinen Haus. Auch unsere Nachbaren waren super und wir verbrachten viele tolle Momente am gemeinsamen Pool. Die Lage ist ruhig und ein wenig ausserhalb. Alles ist jedoch gut fussläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Das gesamte Hause war sehr sauber und die Betten waren bequem. Die Handtücher waren sehr sehr weich. Unser Kühlschschrank war kaputt und Michael hat uns schnell eine Kühlbox gebracht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Such a beautiful space inside and outside. We absolutely loved it here. We walked around the entire island and felt that we had made the best choice. The staff are all so friendly. Will definitely come back!

My husband and I, along with two family members got displaced because our flight came in late and we wouldn't make it to the boat to the island. We booked Mr. James last minute and I'm so glad we fell upon this place. very calm, beautiful yard, Ac works great and love all the amenities. Mr. James is super helpful, very respectable and very responsive. it was the best remedy after being delayed and spending all day in the airport. Definitely would be back to this peaceful yard.

We started our trip in Belize at Howler House and it was the best decision. The house was so unique and right on the banks of the river. We spent every night on the deck in the hammock and chairs taking in the surrounding nature. My kids loved the new pool - and spent a few hours there playing. The biggest highlight was the wildlife. There is a small crocodile in the tiny lagoon near the cabins. We ironically named him ‘Big Al’. We also saw a family of howler monkeys right outside our place - swinging from the trees right off our deck. We stayed in the older blue cabin (there are now newer options). And while it wasn’t the fanciest - it met all our needs and felt so different. A huge thanks to Shanna for being a great host. For those who love adventure I cannot recommend Howler House enough!

Sunshine House was amazing the my friends and I to explore San Pedro. The best thing is the restaurant next door with the same name. Best food on the island. We didn’t really use the pool or kitchen much; but the location was great (about 10 minutes by golf cart to get anywhere).
