We stayed in a 2 full bed suite. The suite was very clean and cute, though a bit small for four people (two adults, two kids). The White Horse Guest House itself was located right on the beach with palm trees that provide shade, lounge chairs and hammocks for guests. There was a kayak and other beach stuff that we enjoyed using. A lot of dining options were in a close proximity, and a supermarket was right next to the place. The music from a nearby night club was a bit loud, but it was ok. Overall, we really liked the place and would stay there again.

Louise was a great host! Responded quickly, was helpful. Accommodated some last minute changes that happened to us. Very affordable and while it was not a very far walk from the strip, she also has bikes for you! Comfy bed. Air conditioning. Fridge. All the essentials.

The White Horse Inn is adorable. I think it's more picturesque from the outside than the photos let on. We did have some trouble finding the host when we arrived (there did not appear to be an easily identifiable reception desk), and therefore took a while to be able to access our room, but this was no problem because we spent that time on the beach immediately outside the hotel. The location is spectacular -- mere meters from the water, with spotless sand and coconut trees with lounge chairs. Ella's Cool Spot is great for food. The AC works great in the rooms, as does the hot water. We would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely little bungalow a bit away from town. Descriptions and photos accurately reflected the space. Great to have a pool to plunge into and cool off. Host was very responsive. Not many restaurants or facilities near by so really helped to have a bike to get into town (which they will rent to you for $5 US a day) but it's walkable without. Airport is an easy walk should you decide to fly in or out. Only issue is I booked a place away from town to avoid some of the noise but nearby there was music playing most of the day and into the night. Didn't bother me but it was noticeable. Prices on Caye Caulker are a bit high and the cost of the bungalow reflected that. IT's a great place, very comfortable and I would definitely stay here again.

Loved my stay! I was traveling alone and felt very safe here, Diana and Crystal were welcoming and fantastic hostesses. They’re very friendly and provided great advice and instructions for the area. The room was lovely, nestled in the top of their trees as pictured with a great variety of birds that were fun and relaxing to watch. The room was as pictured, you may see a gecko or an ant but that’s to be expected in this location. Thank you very much Diana and Crystal for sharing your beautiful space!

Private room, cold A/C, easy check in, nice shaded property. It is near the airport, so be advised the flights come and go around 7am and 8am everyday. Theres also construction ongoing in the area as well, so bring earplugs. Great dive shops close by, and a beer on arrival. Not too bad.

My first visit to Belize turned out to be an amazing experience and huge success largely due to the assistance that was provided by the hosts. I've had many Airbnb's and some really good hosts but these guys are the best. Very proactive and communicated well prior to travel, upon check in and throughout my stay. They are as good as it gets. The property was amazing, spotless, didn't see a single bug. The pool was well maintained and very clean. I will definitely be visiting again.

I want to say that the host was amazing and kind. Our original airbnb cancelled last minute and Novalyn’s place was the only available place. My hubby and I were bit a sketchy of this place because we don’t like sharing a livingroom or common areas. The pictures make the place look like a Hostel , but it is NOT. It is a very welcoming hotel with a reception and lobby with small appliances we all share. Plus cold and hot water dispenser. Our room had cold AC. The water pressure was the best out of 6 Airbnb’s we stayed at in Belize. The location was prime. For the price this place was great. Plenty of parking next to it. Food and store right in front. The beach one minute walk away or less. Hopkins will Forever be my favorite city in Belize. Best food spot for breakfast Peers Restaurant . For lunch and dinner with the best clean and relaxing view is Lime restaurant . Food is great on both. Lastly try Queen Beans food. Queen beans is also a tiny bar with some swings next to the ocean

If you like to be on a beautiful quiet little secluded island far away from the crowds, with sandy beach, ocean views, access to yoga mats, kayaks, paddle boards, fishing, snorkeling and some of the best diving out there, and you like to eat the catch of the day, this is the place to be! Lots of chairs and long chairs on the beach to chose from. Lots of shade. Great eco-lodge. The room was very simple but we liked it and it has a nice deck with hamacs and a nice big eating area with ocean views, great to have a drink at the end of the day! Very friendly staff, pleasant vibe, simple living, too much eating, the food is delicious, make sure you bring your stretchy pants! The boat ride over was fun too! Bring a cheap puncho for cover in case of rain, splashes and wind, we used it both ways! I would definitely go back! Thank you for the experience!

Martha's place was spectacular!

We stayed for one night when coming back to BZE from placencia. The guesthouse was perfect! Shower was hot and the water pressure was fantastic. The A/C was cool and the bed was comfy. The self-service check in made things super easy! The water taxi is literally a two minute walk and there are lots of great restaurants around. Our flight was not out until the afternoon and they were able to accommodate a little later check out. I would most definitely stay here again when I come back to Belize!

Hosts are responsive to requests, inquiries, and any issues. We have stayed here several times and enjoy it.

Joe and Laura are so sweet and kind. Literally, one of the best places we've ever stayed. We will for sure go back. They did an amazing job on their property. Beautiful grounds and great cabanas. They made us feel right at home 💕

Absolutely perfect. Cute colorful Cabaña right on a gorgeous beach. And inside: everything we needed (a lot of airbnbs are missing hooks, shelves, little things like paper towel, coffee or condiments- they had everything and more! For example luggage scale or mini rechargeable reading light. Walking distance to everything in town (tiny village Hopkins) Strongly recommend!

My family and I had a great weekend at this home. It was so peaceful and nice. The home is clean and spacious. My 3 younger boys enjoyed the pool. The property manager, Ms. Sonia, was so helpful and friendly! She’s the best! We definitely look forward to staying at this home again. PS. The pictures don’t do justice! This home is gorgeous!!!

Beautiful place very close to the ocean. Very kind and thoughtful hosts. Would deft back!

This house is amazing, very cozy family atmosphere, it has a full kitchen with all of the things you need for cooking. I’m sure some stuff is what people leave behind and it’s left to be use by others, It has washer and dryer, they had 5 gallon of drinking water, It has access to the Poseidon beach, all to yourself, it has a deck on the lagoon, it has kayaks and paddle boards, grocery store within 10 minute drive. Downtown Placencia about 30 minutes drive. If you’re outdoor person, you know what to do to protect yourself from mosquitoes. If you’re not an outdoor person, make sure you have bug spray, outdoor clothing, I would suggest at least short sleeve shirts, light weight pants, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses. Also forget good cellphone service, it’s kind of spotty. Well that’s all folks. Enjoy this house and your vacation.

the place is as nice as all the other reviews say but what really stands out is how helpful and friendly both Julie and Gary were. From the moment we arrived they made us feel welcome and went out of their way to recommend restaurants, activities, and ensure we had everything we needed. Our bunky was cozy, the bed comfortable, the kitchen had everything you need. a great stay we'd happily return to and recommend!

Gary and Julie were the best hosts! They are very kind and make you feel right at home. They made wonderful suggestions of what to do around the area. Julie also makes some of the best salsa I’ve ever tried! I highly recommend their spot for anyone traveling inland
