What a beautiful villa! Seabird Villa 14 has the most spectacular sunsets! It is private and stunning while the architectural design is both simple and functional. We enjoyed all the suggestions from our private chef to our dive masters and found all exceeded our expectations. We hope to return for a month or longer next time.

As beautiful and peaceful as we were hoping! Such a great setting, very easy to find and super central to both Maya Beach and just a 20-min drive to Placencia. Publics grocery is 8-min drive south, and loads of close restaurants. We used the kayaks and even fished in them across the lagoon. Star gazed at night from the dock, and cooked in the fully equipped and stocked kitchen. Herbert provided absolutely anything you could ever need and then some. Seriously, not just sun block and bug spray, but like 3 kinds. Numerous different towels and beach towels, umbrellas, spices and oils/marinades in the kitchen, not only kayaks and bikes, but a fishing pole and net, multiple sizes life jacket, super strong WiFi, you name it. Great bathroom with big tub and strong water pressure. Sitting on the deck listening to the lagoon was mesmerizing. Obviously a lot of planning went into the thoughtful details and we absolutely loved our stay. Thank you Herbert!

We had a great stay and would definitely come back. We highly recommend watching the sunset at Iguana Reef Inn and feed the stingrays, then grab dinner at the street-side grill by the house/airport on Avenda Mangle.

Our first trip to San Pedro was absolutely amazing! We’ll definitely be back at Lost at Sea!!The place was breathtaking! Our family had a blast walking out on the pier and searching for sea creatures. We saw all sorts of cool stuff! The location was perfect for some much-needed relaxation. Eva was an incredible host, making sure we had everything we needed. Thanks for such a wonderful experience! We’ll definitely be back soon!

Gary’s property manager was so helpful! He arranged to get us from the water taxi and brought us our lovely golf cart and everything else we needed during our stay.

We are a family of 5 and recently stayed at La Vida Belize. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The plunge pool, beach and dock were the perfect place to relax after a day of adventure. We enjoyed being in a quieter area and didn’t mind the distance from the main area of Placencia. We rented a car and explored several areas in Belize during our stay. We used the guestbook for tips about the area and places to eat near Maya Beach. The grounds keepers were friendly and kept everything nice for us during our stay. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. During our week stay, some of the activities we were able to do included: snorkling with Captain Jak’s, visit the Bocawina Nation Park & Zip-line Adventure, fishing, a Monkey River tour and visit some Mayan Ruins. We also spent a good amount of time relaxing and reading on the beach or by the pool. We recommend staying here.

The house was very comfortable and views were amazing. We loved having our own oasis away from the hustle and bustle. The location is not near the main village so would recommend having your own transportation. The kitchen had everything you'd need so we didn't have to purchase a bunch of additional items like spices. Bed was comfortable and the overall living space was great.

The Treehouse is such a gem! My only regret is not booking a longer stay. The place is homey, lived in, and the private beach access could not be beat. Rubio, the caretaker, was incredibly attentive and so generous, helping us with the kayaks and always getting us fresh coconuts. It’s a perfect get away and I can’t wait to return!!

We really enjoyed the Starfish Cabana! Right on the beach (it’s tucked slightly in from the other cabana, but still a great view and that actually made it more private) and in the centre of the village - we could walk to everything we wanted to do. Was a bit nervous reading that there could be noise from Ella’s cool spot as it mentioned in the listing, but it was really only noisy on Saturday night and the AC drowned most of it out. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed in the mermaid cottage and it was lovely, clean, and comfortable. But the true treasure were the caretakers, Jose and Sylvia. They were friendly, patient, and very very helpful. Jose gave us recommendations for very unique Belizean experiences that we never would have found otherwise and helped us with even our most high maintenance needs/requests with a smile. They both really went above and beyond and felt like family by the end of the trip. We I didn't particularly love the rain shower in the bathroom. One of us has thick curly hair and it was very difficult to rinse. It would be awesome if the hosts invested in a detachable shower head to go with it. Also a sad reality is that a lot of garbage washes in from the ocean. The caretakers do their best to keep it clean but it's a nonstop task and there are only 2 of them. I would love to see the hosts hire atast one more caretaker since it's a lot of property to manage. Otherwise no notes.

This home was so spectacular. There are 2 adults and 2 kids in our family and the size was perfect for us. A/C worked great on those hot days but the breeze from the ocean always kept us comfortable. The huge doors and windows looking out to the beach was magical. Beds were comfy, house was clean and neighborhood very quiet. There is a larger house behind this one that shares the property. We were there at same time as another family but we hardly noticed them. The hotel next door was great for meals when we were too lazy to go far, or wanted a pool to swim in. And their pier was lovely for a late evening cocktail. I would come back in a heartbeat to stay here. Also great food in Maya Beach. The Bake My Day bakery was great and walkable, Mango’s was a beautiful spot with great pizza and drinks, Maya Beach Hotel restaurant was also spectacular. I’d prefer to stay here rather than the busy hustle of Placencia for sure.

Everything was picture perfect. It is a wonderful place to lay back and relax. Everything that you need is in walking distance. We walked a lot. Rented a golf cart from them for two days, but enjoyed walking more. Everything is local and there are great restaurants to eat at each day. Each day can be in a different place if you like. Went on a Mayan tour and was picked up at the bnb. It was a perfect vacation, can't say enough good things about the place. Not cheap, but well worth the cost!

If you're looking to experience real Belizean culture, in the best centrally located location, on the beach, within walking distance to everything, and the two best restaurants in the village right in your own hood, in the coolest AirBNB you've ever stayed in, stop researching now and just book this place. I said stop it. :)

We loved our stay at Villas Secreta! It was beautiful and the staff were incredible (especially Shauna and Jorgie!). It was a bit remote- we didn’t realize how far away secret beach was from the main part of San Pedro. But overall, amazing experience.

Godfrey communicated with us in advance and arranged pick up from airport to a restaurant (he had a few recommendations) and then being brought from restaurant to the cabin He was very friendly and welcoming The cabin was clean , nice wooden floors, comfortable bed , quite, felt nice with A/C We were able to heat up our breakfast in Mwave and made black coffee

I really enjoyed my stay here for a few reasons, the first and biggest reason was how great Stacey and her family was. I was coming out there alone and was on edge but Stacey quickly made me feel safe and comfortable. She also made me a great breakfast every morning. Secondly, If you love nature or just want a peaceful, private getaway, this is the place for you. I got to see spider monkeys and kayak on the creek, it was pretty cool. Lastly, The cabin was very clean and modern, and they provided everything you would need— I loved the shower! It was pretty far from everything, and the road getting out there is pretty bumpy so just be prepared for that, but everything else was great. I had maximum peace out there just journaling, reading, chilling, and spending time with Gods beautiful creation.

This place is gorgeous. The beach is basically private and so beautiful! Don’t book this place if you are NOT looking for private, remote, serene relaxation. If a 45 minute golf cart drive isn’t for you, this is not the place for you. I would 10000% recommend renting a golf cart if you plan to leave at all during your stay, however, I would not recommend renting through Annie. We got a super old, worn out, louder than a jet engine golf cart that broke down on us twice. Even the locals said it was the worst one lol. Also, we were informed of the gate situation, but it is still annoying to have to park at the nearby restaurant and wait for the staff to come get you as well as take you back when you want to leave. I know they’re working on fixing that but something to be aware of. The staff are incredibly kind and always willing to help, we especially loved George.

Lovely, rustic River Cabin. AC! Beautiful river view, a very comfortable sitting area on the porch, but not much seating inside the cabin unless at the table. Remember your bug spray, and be prepared for a dusty, bumpy ride in. Nice birds and nice neighbors. Fun fishing trip on the Sittee River! Approximately 15 minutes into Hopkins Village, and close to Cockscomb and Serpon Sugar Mill. Tonya was very responsive.

My husband and I have stayed here several times. It is a gem! It is very clean and and the perfect space for relaxing and working. If you love nature and privacy this place is for you. You are immersed in a manicured portion of the jungle next to a serene pond with many options for small and big adventures nearby.

Fave spot in Placencia. Nothing compares to Kuknat Cabin! ❤️
