Karen and Colin were great hosts and looked after us during our stay. The cottage was lovely and cosy with electric heating and a wood burning stove. The enclosed garden was ideal for our wee dogs. The cottage was well situated for exploring Kintyre and the Isle of Ghia. We are hoping to rebook Ballochroy Cottage for another week later this year.

We all had a lovely stay, apartment spotless and had everything we needed. Some nice walks and the view from the balcony and bedroom windows in the apartment was amazing. Great having the bistro next door, had a nice meal. Owners were very accomodating. Would 100% recommend and would love to come back. Amanda, Gavin our teenager Calum and our wee fur baby Molly

Excellent accommodation in the ideal position to explore Islay. The house was spotlessly clean, well maintained and very comfortable and warm.

Perfect getaway spot for digital detox and splendid isolation... The pod is in a spectacular location, and easily accessible given it's remoteness. Inside the pod there is everything you need for a cosy few days, with the beach a couple of mins walk. Hosts were helpful and responsive, with excellent instructions and communication. Heartily recommended 👍

Lovely stay at Kelmscott! Close to gorgeous woodland walks and beaches. A perfect getaway trip from busy city life. Great hosts and good communication. Highly recommend!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time in Arran staying in this lovely flat and will definitely come back! It’s a beautifully decorated place and has everything you need there, it’s a very well kitted out kitchen. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. Would 100% recommend people coming to the island to stay here as it makes your holiday even better!

No pictures or reviews do this place justice!We have been to the estate twice now and it’s our favourite place to visit when we need to recharge. It’s great for the dogs, private beach, clear water, hikes at the back of the cottage , lots of wildlife, beautiful cottage. Views are out of this world. It’s worth every penny. Facilities are amazing especially in point cottage with the aga stove. We cooked many amazing meals. It’s the most relaxing place we have been regardless of the weather, and it’s beautiful all year round. Hosts were amazing and got back in contact straight away. Can’t wait to make another trip soon!

We had a wonderful few days here in this characterful property, loved the uniqueness of it. The showers are amazing, really powerful. Such a peaceful place and fantastic to see the red squirrels feeding on some nuts and seeds we left out.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Net Shed. What a stunning location, well equipped cottage and lovely, communicative hosts. It was just what we wanted - peaceful and overlooking a lovely little bay with plenty of stunning wildlife. The area is quite remote with limited eateries close by but the kitchen is very well equipped - perfect for cooking in! The log burners made the cottage feel very cosy and it was lovely and homely. A great base for exploring the Kintyre area. Highly recommend.

Alan is a fantastic host - he popped by in person but was also responsive by text when I had a query or two. The house is perfect for a group and the large kitchen and living room was great for spending time together. The house was well equipped with various things you might need - glasses for fizz, speakers, HDMI cables etc. The view is also lovely. Would recommend!

This cottage is fantastic. Everything here has been thought of. If you were inclined you could literally prepare any main meal here. The location was perfect for us looking for a simple, peaceful base to explore Bute from. The host has placed in the cottage. plentiful maps, walks and references for things to do on the Island. Ettrick bay is a tranquil retreat with amazing scenery in every direction. It has good walks locally and an hourly bus back into Rothesay. If you wish you can walk the old Tram path back to Port Banantyne (about 90 mins). I have to say we were extremely fortunate with the weather (17-21 March) and it was wonderful at the end of the day to sit on the patio with a glass of wine staring out to sea and the Island of Arran. Simply Stunning.

a wonderful studio flat, exactly how it looks in the photos. Most of one wall is a window looking across the lawn to the beach, sea and Holy Island. There are many eateries close. The Old Pier has fabulous soup, quiche and sausage rolls.

Great cozy place with an amazing view. We felt ‘at home’ from the moment we entered the house. Highly recommended!

just home after a amazing 2 nights. both hosts were great with communication, the Lodge was easy to find with their instructions. the Lodge its self was perfect especially the wrap around porch for dogs. the view is stunning can only imagine how much better it would be on a sunny clear day. so peaceful you can hear all the different birds chipping away. kitchen had everything you would need and more, bedrooms all a great size, plenty of clothes storage and 2 had lovely dressing tables, mattresses pillows and duvets were awesome we all had a great sleep. living room is cosy and comfy. bathroom modern and clean with the bonus of a bath. hot water, heating and WiFi all available 👌. would love to come back in the near future thanks again George & Maria

The house is in a peaceful location and has everything that you need to either cook in or drive to places like Brodick for dinner. The house was warm with great heating and very clean. Karen was a good host, responsive and helpful. If you’re looking for quiet place, away from it all this is a great option.

A lovely cottage in a stunning location. Cottage was everything we needed. Lamlash is an ideal village to base a stay on Arran. Helen was always helpful in answering any queries we had. Would definitely like to return in the future.

One word, exceptional. We had a family reunion at Pamela's and all I can say is it was exceptional. From the location, the views from the house/bedrooms, the sound of the waves, the style and decor of the house. All brilliant and I only wish I had booked to stay longer. I would definitely stay there again. We had 10 family members and it was very easy comfortable to accommodate everyone with ease.

We had a really fantastic family trip to Joshua’s place. He is a fantastic host. The house is perfect for a large group get together with lots of indoor and outdoor space.

Justin and Rae were extremely welcoming, both were there when we arrived. The house itself was large and there was more than enough room for everyone in our party. The house was spotless with lots of extras, eg. shampoo, conditioner. Milk, sugar, coffee etc. Would highly recommend it to others.
