The Country Pumpkin was a great retreat for my husband and I while we were house hunting in Texas. The location is perfect for those wanting a private, peaceful, and beautiful get away. The master bed is phenomenal! Jake the bull is a sweetie and our host, Vickie, was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay again.

This is a lovely vintage home that has been renovated and decorated nicely. Comfy beds, beautiful and well equipped kitchen, laundry room. I would love to stay here again! It is the perfect pink house for a girl's get away!

The host was absolutely wonderful. They totally accommodated all of our needs. I was traveling with 2 daughters ,pets and my wife and I. I even need some help as I was staying here until I purchased my home. They were so helpful. I wish all host were this helpful and willing to go the extra mile. airconditioner,and heat worked great! my dogs loved the back yard. I needed some support and they were there for me . they are good people , would stay again in a heart beat. I would leave 6 stars if I could !!!

One of the best host I ever dealt with. While checking in, I ran into a minor issue. The host granted me access inside the residence remotely. The host also came out less than an hour to correct the issue!!! Beautiful/Lovely home.

I stayed here with family while visiting my brother at Ft.Cavazos. The house is just a short drive away from the base and the Killeen airport. Also close to restaurants and a grocery store. I felt right at home! The house is very well taken care of and in a nice area. Everything was decorated so pretty and very clean. It honestly looks even better than the pictures! Hosts are also very kind and made everything simple. Would definitely stay again!

House and neighborhood clean!

I absolutely loved it I enjoyed my stay beds were comfortable the home itself was comfortable nice quiet neighborhood the home is beautiful everything in the home was very clean the pool and hot tub was amazing 10/10 must recommend I will be back

We loved our stay here! The pool and hot tub were great. We loved the big fenced in back yard so our dog could run around. The houses are few and far between so it’s very peaceful, private and quiet. The home is more beautiful than the pictures and very comfortable. Lots of outdoor games to play. The kids enjoyed making s’mores at night. The hosts are extremely responsive and will turn the hot tub on from their phone as soon as you text them. This is a great bnb!!

House is beautiful inside and out. Very spacious , and the spa pool felt amazing. The neighborhood was quiet . Everything we needed was there. The host was very nice and made sure everything went smoothly.

Great stay.We were in town for my sons birthday for 5 nights at Josie’s place.This house is perfect for a large family and small one like ours.The house is very nice,clean,and in a nice neighborhood.The pool was awesome.We loved the covered patio in the back that had furniture and a nice size tv.Josie was a great host who was quick to respond to any questions we had.We would stay here again in a heartbeat.We don’t visit my son as much as we would like,because we get so bored at the hotels and other homes we have rented.This was the first time we really didn’t want to leave!

Such an amazing place, we felt at home and loved it. Seconds to the creak and so many awseome restaurants and shops. Perfect for us with a young child / would be the best getaway for a couple. Great night life so close yet cabin was quiet and calm. Loved it and can't wait for our next visit to Salado from UK. Carol was great with updating us before, during and after stay. The best host. We are sad to be home now!

Great place in Salado which is a gem of a town lots of history and neat little places to visit. I was here visiting family in Jarrell and Austin area but spent an afternoon walking the town, just a real nice place with a lot of historical sites, boutiques, a great park, and lot of eating , coffee, wine etc. One note, the home is close to the Freeway and main access road so there is some road noise at night. I did not find it problematic and didn't bother me, but its not perfectly quiet at night.

the house was beautiful.. kitchen items provided were very stocked.. was able to cook dinner for family and grandparents without issue! Cristina was more than helpful and understanding.. have already recommended her location with other family members and would most definitely stay again.. one of the nicer places we have stayed!

Willing to work with you on any check in time. We personally had a late reservation & checked in close to midnight after a long day. It was seamless, was also clean and looked exactly as it was listed. Would most definitely stay again in the future if the need for the area should arrive.

In town for our son's wedding. Shared the Airbnb with family - loved how roomie it was - nice to have two master bedrooms/bathrooms. Michele was very responsive and helpful!

Lovely place. Loved watching the lightening and thunderstorms roll in off of Lake Belton. Enjoyed my morning coffee in the rear garden. To the west of the garden is a section of dense trees that reminded me of The Wicklow Forest in Glendalough Ireland.

We enjoyed our stay at the Texas Star Cottage! With how expensive hotel rooms are getting, we decided to try out this Airbnb with DeYette for our nearly week stay in the Temple area. Our first impressions were great as we entered through our private gate and found plenty of room to park, with the bonus of having a carport. There were snacks and muffins when we arrived, which was a little touch that makes a big difference after being on the road for many hours! The value here is much better than in any area hotel, especially considering you get a full kitchen, a private bedroom, and the ability to do laundry in the shop area attached to the cottage. The cottage was clean and well appointed. If I had to pick on one thing, it would be that the mattress in the main bedroom was a bit soft for a bigger guy like myself. However, the genuine Texas character and privacy of this cottage makes it a great option! We will likely return next time we are in the Temple area!

What an excellent stay. Raul’s place had everything we needed and more. The spacious yard for our pups was by far the best yard they ever played in. We felt safe and comfortable. The cottage had everything we needed. It was also close to the wedding venue we had to attend. Bonus tip- you must check out the local vineyards around town.
