We had a fantastic stay! The house was spacious, super clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. It’s a 20 min drive to Twizel and any store but we didn’t mind the drive because it’s so beautiful! The neighborhood is quiet and remote. But a good location for exploring the surrounding area. The only disappointing thing was the house being oriented completely opposite of the lake views. The main windows in the living rooms opened to the street and the bedrooms in the back of the house had tiny windows that faced the lake. The garage in back also blocks the lake view. The main bedroom did have a window facing the lake but you can’t take advantage of it due to the next door neighbor living in a bus about 10 feet from the window. So for privacy, the curtains needed to be closed. But despite the strange orientation of the house, everything was smooth, pristine and comfortable. And even though the main windows faced the street side, the front patio was landscaped for some privacy.

Enjoyed a beautiful two nights here while we explored Mount Cook and loved the little village vibe of Twizel, without any hustle and bustle. House was exactly as described and very spacious for our group. Would recommend!

We made a huge mistake when only booking this place for part of our stay. My thought was to jump around the South Island with my family at a couple stops. Had I known it was this awesome, then I would’ve booked our whole time at Anna’s. This place is exactly what my family loves. The kids will definitely be complaining about where we stay next. This property is AWESOME.

A classic kiwi bach! Very handy having two showers and a separate toilet. We loved having a coffee machine, a bbq and beach towels available. Thanks Sally for having us 😊

We absolutely loved staying at Jan’s place. Such a great location, with so many places nearby to visit. One day we visited Oamaru and the next Mt Cook. The geological sites near Kurow-Duntroon were amazing. The lakes are gorgeous, I only wish I brought my bike with me. Our dog also loved Jan’s place as she was safe and secure in the fully fenced gorgeous garden.

Amazing “cottage” with modern touches and plenty of room for my family and cousins family to spread out and enjoy the space after hours of hiking. Would not hesitate coming again.

Nice and clean. Just that we had a shock when we see there are other people in the house and other car when we return. Just to realize they are not able to access other part of house other than the studio room they are in. The studio room is in the same house, just that its door to the main house is locked and it has its own entrance. The listing did clearly list out that a studio room is attached. Just that we never expect that studio room is part of the house, not any externally link unit. Anywhere, the house is great. We just have to keep our volume down not to affect our “neighbour”.

A fabulous home and each room having a bathroom was a real bonus. Very easy instructions for our stay, the home was very clean and a handy location to the shops, restaurants and lake. Highly recommend

We loved Vic and Steve’s place, and only wished we had been able to stay here longer! The house was immaculate when we arrived and more than enough space for the four of us. The views of Lake Tekapo are incredible, and it’s a short walk down to the lakeside. Would highly recommend!

Very tidy and spotless apartment, golf course behind the complex which I found a picnic table to sit during sunset was an absolute amazing spot! Shower has an aggressively powerful shower head - nice for a massage :)

Such a lovely cozy house! I thought it's a bit pricy but after staying there for 2 nights, I've changed my mind. It's 100% worth the price. The place is spacious, 3 mins walk to the lake front, apart from the busy area but still in a walking distance.

We loved our stay at the cottage. The location is great and the place itself is cosy, relaxing and romantic for a couples get away. We loved the outdoor bath under the stars and the log burner. The place has been tastefully decorated and we felt right at home. It’s also very private considering it’s located right next to where the tour buses stop for the church. I’d recommend a swim in the lake too as it’s right on the doorstep. It’s a wonderful place for some R&R and to get away from everything for a few days

Just a short scenic drive from Fairlie. Beautiful setting with a expansive view of the rolling hills. House is large and well furnished with a designers touch. Place was very clean and very private. Had a wonderful stay. Thank you.

Possibly the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! This beautiful cabin nestled in the woods was pure magic. From soaking in the outdoor tub under the stars (you can even see the Milky Way with the naked eye!) to the incredible attention to detail throughout the accommodation, everything was absolutely perfect. The cabin had everything you could possibly need, and then some. Peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature and wildlife, it felt like a true escape. We only stayed two nights but wished we had more. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough for anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable getaway.

Excellent accommodation with fantastic views Very clean and you can tell it has been well cared for. Lovely hosts and Siimin provided great recommendations with excellent knowledge of the area. We did a stargazing experience with Kathy and as it was just the two of us in the accommodation it was made personalised to us. The experience was absolutely brilliant. Kathy has so much passion for the subject and is a very talented teacher. I would highly recommend doing this experience as it has been one of our highlights of our trip to NewZealand! Thanks again for a brilliant stay!

Beautiful lakefront cottage with incredible views and a quiet and private location. This home is older but clean and well-maintained. There is no central heat or AC but the space heaters were effective. The host provided lots of information about activities. The house is located about 35-45 minutes to Mount Cook National Park and Lake Tekapo, 7 minutes from Lake Pukaki retreat (stargazing) and 15-20 minutes from Twizel with shopping and restaurants. The house was larger than expected with 4 twin and 1 larger (queen or king?) bed. Checkin was easy, kitchen was well-equipped and our stay was great.
