Amazing place, amazing hosts. Been staying at Merrijig for many years and this is one of the best homes we’ve stayed in. Kind hosts with complementary food and drinks that were left for us at check-in. Very strongly recommend.

Pete and Jill are such incredible people. You can see the love they have poured into their property. They strived to do everything possible to make our stay enjoyable, even though we had so many hold ups in getting to the property and arrived very late. Breakfast was absolutely beautiful and we really were made to feel at home. Thank you both so much!

The cottage was well suited to a weekend away from the city. It was quite peaceful, situated amongst the farmland. The cottage is a good size for 2-4 people, with all the amenities you could need. The hosts were quite responsive and friendly, and provided a lot of information, about both the accommodation and the local area. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the spa bath was a nice touch. The town isn't too far away at all (about 8 minutes drive), so you can get food quite easily, or prepare it at the cottage. It was great to have access to the pool and tennis court. The pool was set a bit too cold for us, so we only used it once (despite the 30+ degree weather). We originally planned to bring our dog, but changed our mind, as they cannot be left inside, or outside (unless tied up). If there was some sort of enclosure outside, it might be easier for dog-owners who also want to go out for the day. The property is also quite high tech, with convenient keyless entry.

We loved staying at Snow Gum Creek. It was quiet and picturesque and we enjoyed the wildlife visiting close by including kangaroos, king parrots and other birdlife, deer. There was easy access to the local creek and walks. Nic and Stef provided a very thoughtful suggested itinery for potential activities and eating places in the area. They were very responsive and helpful when we contacted them.

This really is such a GEM! Located in the Main Street of Rutherglen gives you walking access to all the wonderful wineries, local boutiques including some great cafes, restaurants and the local butcher which has incredible products. The home is beautifully maintained with very comfortable furnishings. While the main house bathroom is a little dated, everything was clean and the kitchen has everything needed to feel right at home. There were plenty of bicycles available for use for no charge. The bedrooms are all very well appointed. A great spot for families with children as the courtyard area is enclosed. The cooling worked well for the warm weather. For those who may be light sleepers, you might find the back rooms a bit more peaceful as we could hear the odd truck passing by on the roads. Would stay again and will recommend to friends and family.

This is our second stay and we will be back. Sharna, Corey and the rest of the family are fantastic hosts and our boys loved the animals.

This was perfect for our family getaway with plenty of space, great view of the countryside, a large refreshing pool in the high temperatures we had, lots of character in our rustic cottage and close to historical Beechworth and what it has to offer. Linda’s and Jamie’s welcome treats were most appreciated. We will be back.

Nice apartment in a beautiful park and with access to all the Sebel resort amenities. Phil was a very nice host and very responsive. I highly recommend this place.

Melinda's place is perfectly situated in a quiet cul-de-sac just a block from the main street with its restaurants, cafes and pubs - and the best bookshop on NE Victoria! The house fronts a beautiful garden and everything inside is as you see in the photos - warm, comfortable, clean and welcoming. Melinda is a great host - unobtrusive but on-hand if you need anything. Communication and entry were very straightforward and easy. We highly recommend Creekside!

Our five nights at Damian and Rachel’s was just what we were looking for: a peaceful getaway in nature. The apartment itself had everything we could want and, even though the weather got up there, our rooms stayed cool. The surroundings are really lovely; it was great to see the chooks walking around and nice to visit the horses and garden. But the standout feature has to be the fact that the property backs on to the State Forest. The trails just behind Oak Gully are well-maintained while still being a little adventurous. Even though there are other walks in the area, we ended up preferring what was literally in our backyard. The scenery and terrain were impressive, and it was fun being able to pick heaps of fresh blackberries (even though they are a terrible pest). Damian was a perfect host; informative and responsive and the rest of the family were super friendly. We really couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend Oak Gully.

Our stay at Moyhu was lovely, Juliana is an amazing host and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation itself is beautiful, comfy bed, gorgeous styling and we fell in love with the feature tiles! It was very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Our pup was welcomed as much as we were, and she loved watching (and barking at!) the neighbouring cows. We highly recommend staying here with Jules, and we'll definitely stay again!

Jane (that's how she introduce herself, FYI...) is an absolute Gem of an Host! It is that simple! As delightful and helpful as can be! We stayed 2 nights and couldn't feel more at home, right away. 3 dudes in a weekend away from home... This was perfect! We loved everything about this place. It is simple, with everything you need and at walking distance from the Broken river. Couldn't be happier of our stay. Little tip, look at the bottom of the post in the middle of the guest house... You'll find the water marks of the most recent floods... Then get out and walk to the river... Eye opening experience anybody should have on the extend of flood events in this region. Also, keep in mind that shops and restaurants in Benalla are not open 24/7... Just saying... ;-)

We loved out stay at Eileen's place, it was extremely spacious for 6 adult guests and we loved the back yard and deck which is where we spent most of our time. It was an extremely hot weather weekend and with no ceiling fans we did find the bedrooms quite warm and stuffy with no air flow; there was one pedestal fan in the main bedroom but it was very noisy on high, knowing the weather was going to be hot we did take one of our own. The air conditioning in the dining and kitchen area however was a godsend. We were looking forward to using the bbq for breakfast but it did not have a solid grill plate so we just cooked the eggs and bacon inside in the frypan. The location is fabulous, a very close walk to the main shopping area and the hotels where we were able to walk for dinner and lunch. Also close to the parks and river for swimming. We were in Euroa for a wedding just out of town so this was perfect accommodation for us. Would definitely stay here again. Comms with Eileen was 🙌

We absolutely loved our stay. The views were beyond beautiful, the lodge was so cute and felt very warm and comfortable, perfect home for a perfect setting. Hosts were lovely and easy to deal with, everything we needed was available and easy to find. The kids absolutely loved it. Beautiful town, walks, wineries and food. We can’t wait to stay again!

Thank you for sharing your log cabin. We had a comfy stay and enjoyed a beautiful sunset view out to the Winton Wetlands in the distance. Beautifully private and peaceful. Great instructions on getting there and we appreciated the clear signage once on the property.

A great location within walking distance of the Main Street of town. The house was spacious and nicely set out. Pet friendly was a bonus.

Wonderful cosy little private cabin for family of four with enough amenities to cook. Will definitely stay here again when we're headed to Mt. Buller.

What a charming and delightful place - the Tuscan style pool was as good as we'd hoped it would be on a 36 degree day! Peter and Jamie are the perfect hosts, so too was Djinni the dog as other reviewers have pointed out. Beautiful gardens (thanks again for the tour!), quiet location, excellent amenities, within walking distance of the rail trail - what more could one want?

a lovely little place ! my partner and i stayed for a weekend to read a new book together and we adored our time here. tab was lovely, the space is clean and cozy and the location is so so peaceful. little greyhound max is also so sweet but im partial to dogs

The property was stunning, a beautiful home on a beautiful farm with cows and free range chickens. Kids and I loved hunting for the chicken eggs each day and the swimming pool was amazing in the dry country heat! Sue provided detailed instructions to find the property which I was grateful for Google maps would’ve added 20 mins onto the already long trip if I didn’t have Sue’s directions guiding me!

Had a great stay at Nadia’s place. Close to town and all amenities. Will book again for our next golf trip.

We loved our stay at Curtis and Kathleen’s place. It was super clean and very spacious for 2 families. The kids absolutely loved the pool and it was only a couple of minutes walk to the river. We can’t wait to come back and stay again. The house had everything we needed. Kathleen and Curtis were very responsive hosts.

We loved staying at Must Love Dogs with our two cavoodles. The accomodation is walking distance to the Main Street and only a short drive to the wineries. Chris was so friendly and accomodating. Her delicious breakfasts and chats in the morning were our favourite part. We can’t wait to return for another cup of tea from Chris’ Chihuahua tea pot 👌🏻

Narelle was incredibly easy to contact and responded quickly, making the booking process seamless. The house itself was amazing spacious, clean, and well equipped. The highlight was definitely the beautiful farm setting, with cows and chickens roaming freely. Sitting at the dining table while watching the cows walk past was such a peaceful and unique experience. The rooms and bathroom were generously sized, offering plenty of comfort, and the pool was a fantastic addition for relaxation. The entire stay was truly enjoyable, and we felt so connected to nature. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you Narelle once again.
