What an amazing place to stay! We stayed over Thanksgiving and it was close enough to Ft. Worth to visit friends and Granbury where we had some work to do the next couple of days. Super peaceful and comfortable! Wish we had more time to be able to explore the ranch! The shower was fantastic and I was determined to use the hot tub even though it was cold outside! Really unique experience staying in a safari tent. I highly recommend it!

We had a great time . The hostess was very responsive and friendly. We enjoyed all the amenities - especially the big dock and kayaks! The space was small - but perfect for a weekend away with my husband ! Highly recommended 😁

David and Carol’s place was absolutely amazing! I stay at a ton of Airbnb’s as I travel for work, and I will have to say that this is by far one of the best Airbnb’s I have ever stayed at. To start, the cabin is located on a beautiful peace of property with a pond and a little lake for fishing, along with some ducks, geese, and best of all Hank, the donkey. There are also ping pong, darts, air hockey, a hot tub, and so much more. The beds were nice and comfortable, the cabin was super clean, and beautiful. The amenities were plenty full with everything you could ever need, not to mention the fact that David had fully stocked the fridge with food, beer, water, condiments, ice cream, and of course the counters had chips, cookies, and all sorts of snacks. Not only did David provide all the food, but he also smoked some ribs, and cooked a full course meal for our entire group one night. David and Carol definitely treat everyone as family and are the best hosts you could ever have.

Staying here was a great escape from the busyness of life. The host was amazing and went above and beyond. When we asked about grilling utensils they went and got some for us and dropped them off. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend and would stay here again.

We had a great visit! Location was quiet and out of the way, though close to a little store to pick up anything you might need. The house was very nice and had a great deck / fire pit area. We didn’t get a chance to try the hot tub (weather was too warm), but it looked nice too

We were in town for a wedding and we found this gem to stay, last minute. What a beautiful and cozy place to stay. On top of the little extras - like water, snacks, coffee and even the make up remover towelette sure saved this person’s day. We traveled 3.5 hrs and it was wonderful to find such welcoming place.

James provided a great place for our adventure weekend. The place was way better than expected. I would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Michelle’s place. It was even better than we thought it would be. Very cozy place with plenty of room. Loved the way it was designed and we were able to settle in like a home right away. Great fireplace area to settle in with a good book and a super comfy bed with a big flat screen to watch entertainment and relax. The surrounding outside area is really cool as well. There are horses to check out right next door and a great peaceful sitting area with a nice country vibe. We will definitely stay again and hope to be able to stay more than 2 nights next time. Michelle was a great host and we recommend this place highly.

We really enjoyed our stay at Oscar’s place the tiny home experience was great it may be small but it felt so roomy Very clean and well equipped our fur babies loved it as well It was very cold outside and the cabin stayed warm and cozy. The pics and description don’t do it justice. The house is perfectly located. It’s next to everything, but it feels secluded….absolutely perfect for a family trip. When we left, my girlfriend’s 6 year old son told me he wants a log cabin now!

We truly enjoyed our time here, we got married at Oak Knoll Ranch and stayed here for the night of our wedding. It was clean and peaceful and the host was so sweet congratulating us on our marriage! I highly recommend if you want to be away from the busy city but still be in driving distance of things to do.

The environment was very comfortable and accommodating. It was just like being at home.

Loved this place! Super close to the Fort Worth stockyards. Very very clean. The mattress was firm which is perfect for my lower back problems. The kitchen and bathroom had everything you needed and more. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I ever come back to Fort Worth!

This is a great place to destress…simple and quiet. A few miles out from a small town but it was close enough to grab something to eat and get some snacks at the small grocery store. The hosts were very helpful. Be sure to enjoy the sunset over the rolling hills.

We just spent a week here and we really enjoyed ourselves. We were told the water level was 9 ft at the boat dock so we could tie our boat up but after arriving it was only about 3.5 to 4 ft deep so we had to rent a slip at the west bay marina to keep our boat at the whole week which was an added expense we weren’t expecting. The house was really cozy and we loved the extra master suite separated from the main house. I wish they had left out more trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels for us though knowing we had a large group so I had to provide extras and the dishwasher tablets as well. Overall, the house was great and we made it work and we all had a great time and made lots of new memories and that’s what matters most 😁

What a beautiful little cabin! We stayed for a couple day “stay-cation” and this place had everything we needed. Including comfort in a peaceful environment. The house sits over a pretty view of the lake, with a spacious yard, boat dock and paddle boat! The interior is a gorgeous modern rustic look with plenty of space. Heather was very helpful, and super responsive. We found a little home away from home and will be back!

The Lake level was the only negative thing on the trip and that is out of anyone's control.

My husband and I had a WONDERFUL time at this property. We loved being outdoors and enjoyed the sun sets on the patio. The pictures matched our expectations.

Upon arrival, we were impressed by the cleanliness and cozy decor, which made us feel right at home. The spacious rooms featured comfortable beds and ample bathrooms stocked with thoughtful amenities like shower caps and cotton balls. The kitchen was fully equipped, including a large coffee maker for our group. We enjoyed sipping coffee on the back deck while taking in the beautiful scenery. The cabin also had a grill, two fireplaces, and a fire pit, perfect for evening relaxation and making s'mores. Our host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, even leaving a basket of snacks and a handwritten note, which added a personal touch. Overall, this cabin is an ideal getaway for anyone seeking comfort in nature. I highly recommend it!
