We rented this cabin on the fly (literally) my husband and I were looking for quick getaways for a much needed vacation and time away from the norm and it was my bday weekend as well. We had never heard of Burton, TX or Log Country Cabins and are both Texas natives but we are so glad that we came across it on our search and decided to give it a try. The cabin itself was just as described and looked like the photos online and the location of the cabin was amazing. The views were amazing, access to the lake and creek for fishing was just steps away from the cabin and the common area and peaceful park were just steps away too. The weather was perfect and it was not peak season so it also felt secluded and private and not too crowded which is what we were looking for! We had an amazing time disconnecting from the everyday and re connecting with each other! We enjoyed every bit of it & will be returning soon!!

Perfect, quiet, relaxing stay. This is a “mostly” off the grid kind of stay so keep that in mind if you’re a big internet user. We loved being able to actually “unplug” for a bit. Highly recommended!!

We spent Christmas at Brooke’s place and she thought of everything. The lake, water toys and beautiful sunsets were a hit with everyone. Everything was as described and ready for us! Would definitely recommend. Thank you🎄

Beautiful and peaceful location. Close to Inks Lake State Park, Kingsland, and the Perissos Winery. Great place for kids and dogs.

Nice cozy little cabin. There were 6 cats on the property that were friendly and loved to be fed and pet. Hot tub was nice and it was quiet and relaxing. Bed was comfortable and the stars were amazing out there with very little light pollution. Only 20 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. Only thing to be aware of is there is no stove or oven here. We planned accordingly being there for Christmas with not much open, we had to bring microwave friendly meals. There is a charcoal grill and cast iron pans that you could cook with also.

The cabin was wonderful! Very quiet neighborhood in a convenient location near the main town center of Kingsland. The cabin was large, clean, and comfortable with a ton of lovely touches from the host. For all pup owners, there is a large yard which is only partially fenced in. That being said, our doggo thoroughly enjoyed the yard, but only with our supervision. Something to keep in mind if you have dogs that like to roam or spend a lot of time outside.

Appropriately priced, quiet location, cozy feeling and nice amenities nearby. The RV park is dog friendly, and the neighbors were kind. We really enjoyed the little patio area, and the trail along the river. We absolutely will be back again!

Maranda is an excellent host. I don’t know if I didn’t know how to work the TV right but she came in and fixed it in the view from the cabin is so beautiful. I strongly recommend anybody to go visit their Airbnb!

We really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. So quiet and peaceful. Even with the current drought there was still sufficient water to enjoy so time in the river fishing and playing with the family. We can’t wait to return! Tiffani was friendly, extremely responsive and flexible.

My husband and 2 dogs lived our stay. We even extended it. The house was clean and beds were very comfy. The views outside are breathtaking and we loved the different seating areas. So much room for the dogs to explore. Would absolutely recommend Caroline’s A Frame!

I adored my stay, and would definitely recommend. It’s a very peaceful cabin, with a sense of home in the walls. I needed an escape from the city, & this was perfect! I loved that the cabin was pet friendly, with a perfect area for my lab. & The mattress!!! -the best sleep i have gotten in a while. I’d definitely stay again!

This was a great home. The kitchen and dining area were outstanding. Great appliances and everything necessary to cook and serve meals. The home was perfect — great location, front porch was large and relaxing. A great place to share with our dogs.

Peaceful spot, exactly what we were looking for for a few days away from the city, traffic and neighbors

Great place, nice and peaceful retreat just minutes from Marble Falls. Room was comfortable, and the extra outdoor shower felt great after a day of hiking.

It was a perfect wonderful stay. Just was visiting my twins. And it was perfect outdoor space for us to play and walk around. It was honestly so much better then I anticipated. Will definitely be checking in again. The host and her husband are the nicest folks. 😄

The cabin was amazing! Exactly what we were looking for. We were about 20 minutes from all the events we had planned in north Austin area. Horses are on site and friendly. Deer walked past the cabin multiple times. Very dog friendly! Our hosts responded to us immediately every time we had a question.

I loved staying here— it was peaceful and welcoming. This is a hidden gem! I loved to see the wild peacocks roam around and Maria was such a lovely host that cares about your comfort. Do yourself a favor and stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming cabin! The place was spotless, well-equipped, and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. The surrounding nature made it the perfect getaway—peaceful, quiet, and a great spot to unwind. Julie was incredibly responsive and provided thoughtful touches that made the stay even more special. We were looking to get away for a few days, and looking for peace and adventure. We definitely found it here. Was so nice to slow down and just enjoy nature and the peace and quiet that this place offers. We took morning walks and loved seeing all the wildlife. Took advantage of the pond and did some kayaking and boating and even got brave enough to jump off the pier! It had been a while since we had taken a family vacation and this was just what we all needed. Was so nice for the kiddos to be off electronics and enjoy catching frogs and tadpoles at the creek. Corey took time out to show us around the property and was adamant about us reaching out it if we needed anything. It didn’t feel like we were staying at an air b n b but rather as if we were crashing at a friends place. If we get the opportunity again we’ll definitely be back!

I can’t say enough about this place. It was quiet, beautiful, peaceful. It’s def a ranch. So if that’s jets you’re looking for. Look no further. We spent hours exploring and driving around. Great host and great place.

It was clean and a lot of space for big families and has everything you need and I recommend it I would like to go back.
