I fell in love with this place when my daughter stayed here for her wedding & decided to book it for a girls getaway with my best friend of 27 years. It is truly so peaceful & quiet yet so many things close by to do! The property itself is so quaint & charming the pictured don't do it justice! Audrey was able & quickly responded to any questions I had during our stay. I can't wait to come back in the future!

The house was very clean and Comfortable. Has anything you would need. I don’t cook vacations , but if I did they have every small appliance, I would need. My granddaughter got a kick out of the gold silverware. Very close to all the attractions. I would definitely stay at Kyle’s home again. Thank you again, Kyle.

Property was as described/shown in photos. Nice little house - fully equipped kitchen with spices and everything. Especially enjoyed the hot tub and screened in porch. Sean was a proactive host so I did not have many questions. We will be back!

Josh & Nicole’s home was absolutely stunning and perfect for a quiet weekend getaway with a group! The house has beautiful views of the water and the home itself is spacious, yet cozy and super clean. It snowed during our stay and Josh was kind enough to stop by and shovel the driveway without us even asking. Such an amazing host who’s super welcoming and responsive! Will definitely be staying here again.

We just returned from an amazing time at Maryanne's cottage. Her home is clean, spacious, comfortable and we had all the essentials needed for a memory building getaway. The surroundings was peaceful and we felt very safe. Instructions were clear on how to find the home and check-in was a breeze. We definitely recommend this home and we plan to be back soon. What a cute place! Perfect for a weekend getaway. Chalk board wall was adorable. The place is tiny but comfortable with 2 adult couples for a short stay. Hot tub was warm and ready to go. loved the fired pit. There was wood there but it was cold so we needed to buy extra wood . There are local spots to buy it and it was cheap! The Griddles malt shop near by, I highly recommend. It's cold right now but I would love to stay here again in the summer when you can fish and enjoy watersports and hiking.. oh they did have a little map with the route to the near by hiking trail witch I thought was nice.

Easy communication prior to check-in. Once we arrived the photos matched the house. The house was clean and user friendly. 10 - 20 min from a number of restaurants and things to do.

The cottage is beautiful, tranquil, and very comfortable - a one of a kind place. The history of the cottage is very interesting and was part of our wonderful stay there. We, along with our guests with four legs, relished walking the serene property. David was a great host - very helpful, responsive, and nice to work with. We look forward to returning.

Dave’s cottage was perfect for my family’s recent trip to Pennsylvania for Thanksgiving. The cozy atmosphere and quiet location were a nice reprieve from the city. Dave’s instructions were very clear and he’s a kind and communicative host. We will definitely consider staying here again!

We rented Helen's house for 3 months over the winter. The location is excellent, we walked to dinners and saw a few shows at the Opera house. Helen is a great communicator and host. Highly recommend staying at Helen's house.

The house was even bigger and cozier than the photos made it look! Great location for our ski trip to Blue Mountain and Camelback. Favorite part was the electric fireplace!

Amazing stay, we had a great time. Brought our hypoallergenic dog. I always get a little worried about staying at places that allow animals because I am allergic to dogs/cats, however this place was so clean I had no issues. waking up in the morning and seeing the chickens, cows, donkeys and emus was so fun. The outdoor space was dreamy. We brought a projector and watched football on Sunday. We also went to the rennissance faire one day and had so much fun. Fresh flowers and homemade scones for check in was such a nice touch. There is a reason this place is rated so highly.

The River House is an amazing and peaceful place to just regroup and enjoy the river. Seth and his wife did a great job of making the place feel cozy, with great amenities and everything was spotless clean. I hope to come back soon! Thank you for a great weekend!

We were looking for a peaceful place to stay in York and Amos and Liz's place exceeded all of our expectations. We stayed for just over a month and enjoyed it every day. The views from the porch, with the lovely horses, kept us charmed. Our daughter had plenty of space to run and play outside. The house itself is well-equipped with everything we needed. The extra comfy bed was a big plus. Liz and Amos were also very responsive, answering any of our questions quickly and kindly. We hope to come back here soon!

The home was beautiful and remote, but also a short drive to local sights and activities including the town center which had everything we could have needed. Ashley herself was very responsive and helpful, and had even decorated for the holidays! Of note is that check-in is at 5pm but Ashley was flexible and allowed us to check in an hour early. The house was cozy and comfortable and contained all of the necessary odds and ends to cook, bathe and relax. Thanks for a great stay, Ashley!

The best elopement experience if you are looking for something intimate for just the two of you. Totally exceeded my expectations!!

Kelly is an amazing host - I stayed in the cabin for two months to be near family during a sabbatical, and she was incredibly flexible and responsive to anything I asked. The main view from the cottage is gorgeous, and the area is secluded and peaceful. I took lots of walks around the property. All amenities are as advertised, heat and Internet worked very well. Weis grocery store is one of my favorite groceries in the area and it's a quick 5 minute drive away. I will definitely look into booking here again next time I'm in the area.

We had so much fun on our stay here! The peace and quiet, the lifestyle of the community, the amenities provided and the history of the home just made our stay so special. We would recommend to anyone and everyone and can’t wait to find ourselves in Lancaster again!

The cottage was charming and in a beautiful and peaceful setting. We ate several meals outside on their stone patio and enjoyed a fire at night. It is close to great hiking trails and a lovely view of the Susquehanna River. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

What a cute little house! I wish I had more time to spend there other than just for one night's sleep. So cozy, fully stocked, pristine, and well-decorated. Will definitely stay here again in the future should I need a place to stay in Lancaster.

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage is beautiful and perfect for “checking out” of normal life for a while. The only problem we had was in finding the cottage. There are two roads marked Turkey Hill, but the first one just took us around in circles.

We enjoyed the cozy and peaceful cottage and the beautiful farmland surrounding us. We also enjoyed taking a walk early in the morning to see the sunrise and walking by the stream in the back. My friend loved bird watching on the property. We did a horse and buggy ride with Jesse and it was the highlight of our trip. The area is breathtaking and seeing it from the carriage helped us to really take it all in. We saw Noah at sight and sound and rode the Strasburg railroad, they are about 25 min from the cottage. We went to the Speckled Hen for breakfast and had a delicious meal and great coffee. Over all we had a great stay at Joni’s place and Lancaster !

My husband and I spent a lovely weekend at Dale's charming home. It was exactly as described and we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained the home was. Check in was a breeze even when we arrived after dark. Dale's place was beautifully decorated with a clean and cozy vibe that truly captured the essence of Bird in Hand, PA. The kitchen was stocked and include a Keurig with pods. The bedrooms were cozy, we slept well in the front bedroom. The home is located in a country walkable area, with a covered bridge a short distance away. We saw many of the lovely Amish folks moving about in their buggies and working on their nearby farms. We definitely recommend Dale's place. I wish we could have booked more time there.
