We loved our stay! The house has all the comforts of home, including a washer/drier, dishwasher and back up power. The location is near good restaurants (we loved Champagne Bistro and Valley Bakery), various outdoor activities and hikes. The views are spectacular and the house allowed us a welcome reprieve from busy city life.

We had the best time all round!! Stardust Cottage is perfectly equipped, spotlessly clean, has an extremely comfy bed and beautiful linen and Kevin is a fantastic host. The view from the cottage is stunning and although staying high up in the magnificent Berg was so peaceful, we were still close to many fun attractions. We have had many Air Bnb stays but this is most certainly one of the best!

Dalene's cottage is set in the heart of the beautiful Drakensberg, with access to many great walks. The cottage is attractive and comfortable and we enjoyed staying there. Hans and Dalene are kind and helpful hosts, which made our stay all the more memorable.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille chez Magda et Chris. La maison est située dans un endroit très calme, le jardin a une vue magnifique sur le lac. A proximité il y a toutes les attractions touristiques: sports nature, départs de randonnées, une super boulangerie qui fait restaurant aussi. Et Magda et Chris nous ont accueillis chaleureusement.

Absolutely loved my stay. Love that it’s pet friendly. Marinda was absolutely so kind. This will definitely be my overnight stop when traveling. Will highly recommend my friends and family to stay here as well.

Such a large Beautiful family home. 3 bathrooms for the 5 rooms meant never having to wait. Pool table and table tennis was great night time entertainment and made for good family rivalry. 😜

This was our fourth trip to the Drakensberg, having previously stayed at another Airbnb and a well-known lodge near Helen's place. Without a doubt, this was our best experience yet. The location strikes a perfect balance. It's conveniently close to the attractions of Champagne Valley – think chocolate and great hikes – while still offering wonderful peace and quiet. And those mountain views are truly something special. The accommodation itself is excellent. The two bedrooms are very spacious, each with its own bathroom and wonderfully large beds. We appreciated the blankets, heater, and the well-equipped kitchen with its large fridge. Having full DSTV and reliable Wi-Fi was a bonus for downtime, and the Weber was perfect for braais. The place is nicely furnished and genuinely feels like a comfortable home. Dealing with Helen was effortless. Extending our stay by an extra night was handled with no trouble at all. A definite 10/10, and we'll certainly be returning!

Le mot qui revenait souvent dans ce logement est waouh. La maison est magnifique, bien conçue, une vue incroyable, des équipements confortables, et une cuisine avec beaucoup d'ustensiles pour cuisiner. Les randonnées sont proches, Cara Lee et son mari nous ont fourni des bonnes idées à ce sujet. On a regretté de partir, on aurait pu rester là 1 semaine 😍
