Our second visit to Flower a barn and we absolutely love it. Beautiful little cosy home, perfect place to unwind by the fire or relax in the hot tub. Lots of lovely little touches dotted around like fresh flowers and a chilled bottle of wine. Hope to visit again in the autumn.

We had a great stay at Miranda’s cottage. The bedrooms were so cosy, bathrooms spacious and spotless and the view from the kitchen was breathtaking. The children loved the garden, hot tub and the bunkbed room. The location was wonderful with lovely walks from the door and easy access the the rest of Dartmoor. We would very happily stay again!

The lookout is a fabulous place for a stay in Cornwall. The location and sea views are simply stunning. The instructions from Nicola to the property were very clear and the property felt private throughout the stay. The property decor is very tasteful to a high standard and makes for a very comfortable stay. The underfloor heating system kept us cosy in a Feb half term break along with a log fire with ample logs. The kitchen was modern and fully equipped for all cooking needs. There was lots to do within walking distance from the property for our family of 4, with a stunning coastal walk to Tintagel, beautiful Boscastle, great local pubs (the Napolean and the Cobweb inn our favourites) and we had a great day at the Eden project. We would highly recommend this property for families who love beautiful views and active walks 5⭐️

What can we say? The Net Loft surpassed our expectations with more to spare. A homely, spotlessly clean, welcoming and totally submersive place to spend a weekend. Thank you so much. We shall return.

Helen went above and beyond in making us feel welcome. The most delicious scones, cream and jam awaited us and then she gave us some homegrown tomatoes. Cottage was very warm and cozy.

Stayed over Christmas. The little touches left by Sue were lovely, mince pies, mulled wine and a Christmas tree made it feel special. Beautiful Lodge right by the beach. Sue's place had everything you needed. Beds are comfy and the Lodge was spotlessly clean throughout. 100% recommend staying here!

What a beautiful little cottage! Cosy and welcoming after a day out, with great hosts Crispin and Sue who left a doggy basket with throws, poo bags and treats for Rosie and homemade Cornish cream teas for us 😋 There was even milk in the fridge for a cuppa on arrival ❤️ Then there are the gardens....Wow! lots of different areas to explore and chill out from the summer house to chimney in the woods to hot tub and hobit house. We just loved this place and will definitely be back.

Susan and Jim went out of their way to accommodate us. We were arriving from 3 different locations at different times hence their flexibility was brilliant. The location is really stunning and unspoilt. The villages are really attractive and the views are amazing. Despite the weather being quite wintery, we had a wonderful time and saw some amazing sights. Thanks for having us!

A wonderful base to explore North Cornwall, the cottage is well equipped and very comfortable and in a very quiet location. Erik was very helpful and responded to any queries I had very promptly.

Had a great time at Owl Barn. Much bigger than in the photos and lovely views from almost all windows. Plenty of games for our children. Very comfy beds. Really good-sized kitchen. Super convenient for many locations, even the hospital in Barnstaple which we had to visit twice during our stay! Pizza night was lovely. The outdoor games for the children were just what we were after. Alex was very helpful, including with some things that had nothing to do with her role as a host - very much appreciated.

We had a great time during our trip, very peaceful place with beautiful views. The Ballroom Cottage at Cutthorne was very clean and cosy, adequately equipped for our needs. The hosts Chris and Freya were friendly and helpful . Many thanks Anna and Gavin.

Such a lovely, well presented, cosy cottage - felt right at home. Great local walks with beautiful scenery & eateries. After a long walk at Staunton Sands with hubby & our little dog; it was lovely to have a shower (good pressure ☺️) snuggle by the log fire & order a takeaway from the local Chinese (Good Fortune - cash only). Would definitely recommend. Nicola was incredibly helpful as usual. Thank you.

The cottage is in a lovely location with great views from one of the double bedrooms and the conservatory and driveway. It felt very homely with the fire very useful, comfy sofas, thick stone walls. Kitchen is a little small but has everything needed, and has a spacious dining area attached. Comfortably fits 6, even 7 with sofa bed, though the two single bed mattresses feel a bit old. It was at a discounted price however with some more work said to be needed. Lovely woodland walk on the doorstep and coast very close. Very quiet and peaceful. Didn’t find pre-warned damp much of an issue. Amy was helpful and attentive though being in a different time zone. Appreciated the private space. A good find.

What a gem of a find. Absolutely cosy, beautiful and lovely country cottage in a quite location. The farm animals were lovely especially "Honey" the goat. The fresh milk and shortbread were much appreciated after a long drive which went down well with hot coffee and tea. Sarah and Garry are absolutely brilliant hosts. Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone. Thanks you for a lovely time.

Lovely little cottage and suited our 3 night stay for 3 adults perfectly. Location is great and easy short walk into the heart of Braunton to shops, cafes and pubs. No parking at property, as stated, but it was easy to park in streets nearby. Cottage immaculate and cosy feel. Well equipped kitchen. A downstairs bathroom with a lovely bath/shower a bonus. Just be aware that if you are a taller person over 6ft there are some height restrictions as cottage doorways & some beams quite low. Also, stairway up to bedrooms quite steep so would possibly be unsuitable for very young children, elderly or mobility restricted person. Living-room lovely space with TV, large comfy sofa and table to eat at. Games and books also provided. There was also a television in the main bedroom. Wifi was easy to connect to. Lovely garden space with outdoor seating when weather good. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed with my husband and 2 dogs. Owners live in a house nearby, there's also another cottage and static caravans near the fishing lakes. Very quiet and peaceful area, away from main roads. Super dog friendly. Sally and her husband were lovely and very helpful, their dogs, especially Dave, were brilliant. The location is very rural (that's what we wanted and it does say clearly in the description) but only a short drive to shops and nice pubs, also close to Bude and the coast, so perfect for us. Enclosed garden with tables, chairs and hot tub was a bonus plus a small front garden/patio. We could walk the dogs around the lakes and down country lanes every day or take them to the nearby woods. Sally provides a great list with recommendations from dog walks, beaches, pubs to things to do- it helped us a lot. Thank you for a great weekend!

We had a fantastic 10 days at the cottage, it’s a great place for a base for beaches and things to do in the local area. The cottage was spotless and a lovely little welcome package was a nice touch that we didn’t expect. Rooms were spacious and lovely views of the countryside from the garden. Plus great extra facilities in the bbq and surf boards that we was able to use too. If you are looking for a place to stay I couldn’t recommend this anymore and will hopefully be visiting again in the future.

Lovely peaceful place to stay, slept so well. Our dog enjoyed having walks on the doorstep too!

We had a great stay at Nicola's in her lovely warm cottage which was very convenient for our family wedding nearby. Nothing was too much trouble, be it wood for the burner in the conservatory or more milk for our breakfasts and she made is a delicious loaf of bread and gave us freshly laid eggs from her hens. The location was peaceful and quiet in beautiful surroundings.

We had a lovely weekend away, beautiful cottage and excellent hosts. The cottage had everything we needed for a short weekend but easy to see how comfortable anyone would be staying for longer. Hosts were friendly and welcoming, gave us all the information we needed to have a lovely weekend! Would love to stay again :)

By far the nicest place we have stayed at. such a beautiful cottage with every necessity available. Spacious, clean, very dog friendly :-) We loved every minute of our stay and would 100% return again.

Very shortly after arriving I received a very warm welcome from Ian and Clare. I could park directly next to the cottage, which had a lovely secure & compact garden, so I knew the dogs were safe & sound. The well-maintained and good-sized paddock is brilliant for the dogs to have a quick runaround & chase the toys that can be borrowed from inside the well-equipped laundry room. Wren Cottage was pristine, with everything needed for a warm & comfortable stay. There are two very comfortable armchairs. There was always hot water and plenty of storage space in the kitchen. The dog biscuits & human treats were an unexpected and very welcome touch. The maps and local information package was very useful. The cottage is only a 10-15-min walk from the beautiful St Nectan's Glen, and a little further down the road, you can pick up the coast path & walk through Rocky Valley and into Tintagel. There is a shorter route to Tintagel if preferred. Boscastle & other places v accessible by car & bus.

Lovely warm welcome to the cottage after a long misty drive, it instantly felt like home for the weekend! Everything was as per the photos with very clean kitchen area, bedroom and bathroom and a perfect seating area by the log fire which we took full advantage of after a days walking the Valley of Rocks. Lesley had given us some ideas for places to eat in our communication before our stay and we enjoyed food in the harbour at the meat hub and a Sunday lunch at The Green House. Thoroughly enjoyed our quiet time in Lynton at the cottage, would love to come back in the summer and go on the cliff railway! Lesley’s place would be top of the list for our return. Thank you!
