Nestled just far enough out of Anchorage to feel out of the city, but close enough to all the conveniences. Large enough driveway for my rig and trailer, doggies loved the heated tiles inside!!

my stay at Allison's was very convenient, cozy and clean , she was very communicative and helpful and everything is exactly how she described in the listing, if you want a very clean very comfortable place to stay that is pet friendly I would highly recommend this one

Alicia’s home was PERFECT for our family weekend in Big Lake. The kitchen was well stocked, ample parking, comfortable beds, large bedrooms, and so many family-friendly games for our kids - I haven’t played Battleship in ages! Not only was the home great, but the host, Alicia, was beyond hospitable. When I had a question, she was incredibly responsive and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this home and if my family ever out in Big Lake, this is our GO TO!

A wonderful, cozy basement apartment that felt like home. Loved the decor, warmth and functionality of the space -and appreciate the AK themed art! And unlike most rentals - the care put into the bed and linens was much appreciated - especially for a cold Alaska winter!

We loved our stay at Mile 73! Our place was clean and spacious with a full kitchen well equipped to make meals. The heater worked well but the added touch of a wood stove was even better! Beds, which included a king size, and a cute built-in twin were very comfy. The location, Willow, is perfect for heading north out of Anchorage to visit both Denali State Park and Denali National Park. We took advantage of being in the area, which is known for its many dog kennels, some of which run the famous Iditarod Race to Nome, with owners Carrie and Kale. Be sure to stop at the Iditarod Museum in Wasilla on your way north. We learned about the dogs and how they have come to be known as Alaskan Huskies. We had the opportunity to get involved in helping to harness the dogs, learned how to attach the dogs to the sled and ride standing, as if driving the second sled which was so cool! Our experience lodging at Trailside Alaska plus our dog sled ride with the Alaska Dog Center was fabulous!

Comfortable cabin in the middle of the farm property. The host family’s home is just up the drive and the cabin is nestled with pasture surrounding it. The cabin has all the amenities you need and it feels more like a home with the small extra touches that are included. A small note…. the stairs to the sleeping area is quite steep so keep that in mind when booking , especially with young children or any mobility issues. If you enjoy farm animals, this is a great stay. The alpaca and goats free roam and are inquisitive and friendly. The horses and highland cows were in their pastures during my stay and are very sweet. The host is friendly and makes you feel welcomed. I plan to return.

We were moving out of state & they were very accommodating for my family and our pets during our transition. Great spot & very peaceful. Loved the garden, very useful kitchen, comfy beds & great big table with lots of games.

The host is a friendly old guy who is proactive and communicates with his guests. The house is in an absolutely traffic free area and no noise! The setting is very much in the depths of the woods. Great rate, worth every dollar spent!

It was a beautiful place with a great surrounding area being close to a lot of food and entertainment spots. Definitely recommended others to give this place a try.

We spent a very comfortable four nights at Hatcher Hideaway. The house was private, well-stocked, and close to everything we wanted to do in and around Palmer. Visiting mid-October was chilly but the house was easy to keep warm - we especially loved using the woodstove. Our hosts were always quick to respond to texts whenever we had a question. If we return to Alaska we would love stay here again.

Overall, we had a nice/fun stay at Destiny’s! The place was clean, and quiet! The s’mores and hot tub were a nice touch! Destiny was very communicative and was quite helpful when we had to deal with some technical issues with Airbnb. The only issue for us was that the hot tub was too close to the host’s residence. The camper was not very far either, it was within earshot/eye-view of the host’s house so it did not feel very private or secluded. Although, this was the case, it should be noted that the hosts were very quiet, and respectful! Thank you kindly for your hospitality!

My husband stayed at Jim’s property for three nights and there are not enough great things I can say about it. The cabin is beautiful and we felt right at home. Jim greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us the cabin and the property. The hot tub was easy to use and so nice to hang out in. We had a lovely evening hanging out with Jim and Teresa one night too. Fishing from the dock was fun too and there are a bunch of ways to get on the water if you would like too. The place was clean and clearly very loved. Overall this is a beautiful property and our time here was just perfect. Definitely recommend!

Kristy was extremely nice and helpful! Always quick to respond and helped us with anything we needed. The room was secluded and clean and we even got some hellos from their dogs through the window and our dogs loved to see a little friend. Would recommend staying here!

Love love love this spot. Definitely one of my favorite Airbnb experiences so far. Stephanie was very responsive and helpful for the whole trip. She even let us get a pretty late check out to accommodate our pup’s surgery. The view is stunning. The house was very comfortable, the hot tub was an amazing addition, and it felt like our own private oasis. Absolutely would recommend this to anyone visiting Anchorage!!!

When we first pulled up, we were wondering what we had gotten ourselves into, but once inside, the house was roomy, comfortable, decorated nicely, clean, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was top notch. (Keep in mind it is in the yard between the host’s house and the rental.) It was as surreal being on a farm in the middle of Anchorage! The hosts communicated very well and were responsive to our inquiries. We would stay here again with a large group. (There were 7 of us.)

1. Check in was simple, code was provided to me prior to my arrival. 2. Home was just as described, bright, spacious, and with modern home decor. 3. Neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. 4. Extras were great! Nice touches (even hot tub access in 30 degree weather). 5. Kitchen and bathroom had plenty of things you may need during your stay. Definitely would stay here again real soon.

Warm welcoming home to be at to a few days. Beautifully home for family vacation. Had a lot for us to cook and clean if needed.
