This is a lovely spot that sleeps a group. We appreciated how well-appointed it is -lots of plates and glassware, ample towels and sharp knives! Lovely spot to watch the lake or walk around. We went into town for antique and art shopping.

What an incredible weekend!! Bill was so very welcoming and his is place was amazing!! We enjoyed many libations and were even able to fancy a pontoon ride on beautiful lake. A picturesque setting in the woods with spectacular views and one of the best hosts we have ever experienced!! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!

This was such a beautiful unit. We had five children under the age of 10 with us and they all asked to return for another stay. The unit is very spacious. There was room for all of us without feeling crowded. The view from the balcony was awesome. Not having to walk outside to the pool in freezing weather is a huge plus. The pool is large and the indoor outdoor hot tub was wonderful.

We had a fantastic time. The space was very well taken care of and they had everything we needed.

Despite this being the 2nd year in a row without snow, we had a great time at this cabin! The space was perfect for our extended family. We enjoyed hiking on the trails right outside the back door. We had them all to ourselves! The fish fry at the clubhouse restaurant was very good. The pool, sauna and work out room were fabulous! I highly recommend this place.

This was a fantastic little place for my daughter and me to stay. It was clean and comfortable, as well as easy to walk to the lakefront and several restaurants. Thanks for a great stay!!

Our stay at Sandy’s lovely cabin on Lake Superior was an impromptu get away with our daughter while on her college spring break. It was the perfect place to stay, close to so many things to do in the area, and also just enjoying the cracking fireplace (thanks Tim for delivery of extra firewood) and indoor sauna, not to mention just spending time together exploring the rocky shoreline and family puzzle time (that would never happen at home). We were able to use the kitchen and enjoy a big breakfast at the cabin, but also enjoyed visiting local places, and would recommend Vanilla Bean Restaurant and Northshore Pizza. We were fortunate to pick this weekend, and watched the impressive racers and their teams at the Beargrease Sled Dog Race that started in Two Harbors this year. We also enjoyed hiking Gooseberry Falls State Park. Thanks again to Sandy for her quick reply and her help fixing my reservation error, when I realized I made it for 1 night instead 2. Would love to return sometime!

It was a wonderful stay at your beautiful cabin! All of your antiques and decorations were amazing, it was like a museum of hunting and fishing items. Very comfy beds and furniture. We felt right at home the entire time! The fireplace really warmed up the cabin and lent a cozy feel. We enjoyed a campfire every day and evening as we took in the lake views. Having Powell's Restaurant such a short walk away was very handy! We look forward to our next visit!

Glistening Shores was the perfect gathering space for our family to celebrate two birthdays. The cabin is beautiful and the location on the lake is breathtaking. We saw all types of lake conditions. Host Kris was very responsive. We're considering making it an annual trip!
