We loved staying at the river house. Beautiful view of the river and comfy accommodations. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful- even bringing over flowers for Thanksgiving. The place was nicely decorated for the season. When it snowed, they brought over some sleds for the kids. I would love to come back in the summer! Only drawbacks were that the heating was a bit uneven in the main room with all of the windows, but it warmed up nicely with a fire in the fireplace- which is a great touch. The water smells very sulphur-y, but that’s common in wells near the river. Being from the area originally it didn’t bother me too much. Thank you Cassie and Shana! We had a great time.

What a hidden gem in the heart of Perth. This property gives the feel of being in a countryside estate, with astounding views from all rooms. Nestled in the trees, surrounded by the sounds of a flowing river, and as quiet as can be. 1 minute walk to the famous Stewart Park, boutiques, restaurants and amazing kids play area. The actual home is breath taking. The character of the old stone cottage has been maintained, while every corner of the home is thoughtfully decorated, cozy, creative, clean, charismatic, and inviting. 3 large bedrooms, comfortable beds, massive bathrooms, and the kitchen has everything for a chef! The living room is bright with stunning views of the river. Perfect home for anyone to enjoy in any season. The host is incredibly responsive and helpful. Would stay here forever!

Our six weeks stay at Heathers place was amazing. She is one of the most accommodating hosts we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The house was supurb, well heated and cozy for our winter stay. The kitchen modern and well equipped. The two bedrooms we used were a little small but more than adequate for our needs and the yard spacious. We had a phenomenal time at this stunning lakeside retreat. While it looks like a perfect summer getaway—serene, spacious, and incredibly private—its winter beauty is just as remarkable. Watching the sunrise over the frozen lake is a breathtaking experience, and the hot tub adds the perfect touch, making it unforgettable to soak in the warmth while surrounded by crisp winter air. Our February stay exceeded expectations, and we highly recommend it year-round. Richard was an excellent host—responsive, honest, and ensuring the place was immaculate upon arrival. If you’re looking for a peaceful yet memorable escape, this is the place to be.

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

The space was absolutely perfect. Beautiful kitchen, nice updated bathrooms and lots of space to sleep. Everything you need for a group. He was so quick at getting back to me, it was great! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

This home is stunning, and well equipped, in a beautiful location. It was outstanding to be right on the lake with kayaks and canoes. Nights were spent grilling, having bonfires, and looking out over the lake (or up at the stars) in the hot tub. Everything was fantastic - the only downfall is accessibility, as you need to take a ferry to the island. At the end of the day though, the ferry was just an extra piece of planning and research, but was unproblematic. Great house - thank you Maria!

Had a wonderful stay with our pet at Pineview Cottage. Valarie is a very friendly host who greeted us on arrival. Very clear instructions for check-in details of the cottage was sent in advance - cottage matched the pics. She also had some useful tips for us about sites in the area. Chaffey's Lock is beautiful & peaceful place and we had a very comfortable stay at Valarie's. Will certainly stay at her cottage again if we are in the area.

Thank you Ryan!! This listing is the perfect escape from the city and has EVERYTHING you need. The host was very responsive, walked us through setting up a fire. Even in the craziest of snowstorms it was cozy and warm. Gorgeous decor. Comfortable couch. Couldn't say enough nice words!! Some airbnbs you can tell the host has never actually stayed there because they are missing dishes etc or it's not set up nicely. This place was PERFECT and you can tell the host puts a lot of care into the space and has stayed there themselves. Will have to be back!!!!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage - the place was clean, very well equipped, with a gorgeous view in nature. Damon was very helpful during an ice storm and communication was easy, friendly and fast!

A cottage/home that has everything you need there. comfort wood fireplace/stove with ample wood and no hidden "cleaning" fees. woodland surroundings with a beautiful lake. quiet road, with many hiking trails nearby. The interior is very upscale and beautiful.

My wife and I enjoyed another wonderful weekend and this perfect cozy cottage. All aspects of this property are top notch from the location to the construction. Every detail has been thoughtfully addressed to create a comfortable home away from home. Chris and David are the ultimate hosts and always go above and beyond to ensure that we have the best vacation possible. Somehow they were even able to provide beautiful warm sunny weather for our weekend. :)

We had a wonderful time at Blake’s cottage. We enjoyed the relaxation, BQQ, and walking around the village of Westport, which was very close by. Our dog really enjoyed the property and town as well. We were looking for a quiet fall cabin getaway and this provided us with exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was located on a fairly private section in the trees. There was a walking trail near by and access to the water and a dock. By traveling in the off season the park was pretty quiet. 😊 The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the cozy inside comforts of home as well as the great deck and wonderful forest and river view. Mike, the park manager, was very friendly and helpful. He greeted us upon our arrival and showed us to our cabin making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. There was a bit of a grumpy resident camper who came over to complain as soon as we arrived because our dogs were playing and burning off some steam after being in the car for a couple hours. The dogs were both on long lines, but he claimed the dogs were loud & he was going to complain to the park manager about us. If he did we didn’t hear about it.

This was such a phenomenal place to stay. The access to the river was lovely, and the entire house had so many great touches and details. The kitchen is very well stocked, beds and pillows so so comfortable. Location was fantastic and close to everything you need. I will definitely be back to stay here again !

Arriving at the cottage was how the pictures were. We went in March and it was cold, but walking into the cottage part the heat was on and we felt right at home. Kitchen & bathroom well stocked. The fireplace was great to have to add warmth. Beautiful scenery looking over the lake from a chair or sofa. A place we would rent again.

Great cabin with a beautiful lake view. Well stocked, quiet, peaceful, and amazing swimming in clean clear water. 100% recommend and definitely would visit again.

Amazing place to stay! I’ve traveled to a lot of Airbnb all over the US, and this is my favorite. All the amenities, and everything you might could need. 10/10 recommend! Desiree is the best.

We had a wonderful stay in this cabin where we spent two days remote working and a weekend (internet connection is reliable). It is peaceful, we saw some little animals outside the cabin like a rabbit and a deer. Snowhoes are available to explore the domain and there is an access to the lake. It is beautiful, recharging and very homy. Thank you Magret
