We had a lovely stay here. There was fresh snow all around. Walking the golf course with the beautiful trees in the winter was peaceful. The photos don’t do justice to the place. The kitchen is lovely and the views from the windows top rate. Also - Skyview BBQ a few miles up the highway was fantastic.

One of the best homes we've stayed at: Unbelievably private, serene, and quiet. The view was spectacular! First thing every morning we would look out the window at Mount Hood! It never got old! The pool and Jacuzzi: perfect! We walked the grounds and watched the horses and goats! All the furniture was exactly what we needed! The house is very organized and they thought of everything and anything someone would need! Cameron was so nice! We felt like we could ask her anything! Would love to come back again. Thank you for letting us stay in your amazing home.

What a beautiful, homey cabin! It was so wonderful to be right on the river with the comforting sound of the water, which you could hear inside, but especially when out in the hot tub. The cabin itself was so comfortable and so well equipped. When we did write to Tracy with a question or two, she got back to us right away. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay and hope we’ll get to do it again soon!

John was a great host! He was very responsive and his home had a nice and spacious communal area for our crew to hang out in. Would love to stay again!

The house was beautiful and very spacious, The beds were all comfortable and clean. There were all kind of supplies at the house made it really great. This place really made me feel so comfortable. Hot tub worked just fine and we even barbecued.Abby thank you for letting us stay We would all love to come back. The Ski Area was not far at all easy to find. This house gets a 10 ++

Our group had a GREAT time reconnecting at Britnei's place. The pool, hot tub, and theater rooms were highlights. It was also great to have a playground at the church right next door. We appreciated all the pool towels provided and that the pool had a code on the door for safety. Overall we loved how big the house was and how so many details were thought of to ensure a great stay!

This house was a great place for our snow weekend. The beautiful A-frame living room has stunning window views all around. The home has a view of huge trees and provided such a warm, cozy atmosphere to sit and look out the windows with a fire burning in the woodstove. Our grandkids loved the downstairs game room, and we could barely hear all their noise from upstairs! The other bonus was being only about 15 minutes to the great sledding area of Snow Bunny and having lunch in Government Camp afterwards. We will definitely look to rent this place again next winter!

We had a great get together with friends for the New Year and Jennifer's place was everything we were looking for. Lots of space for a large group, great location, beautiful surroundings. Instructions on how to find the home and check-in were super helpful. Love this place and need to return in the summer to get more lake time! A+ host and experience.

Greatly enjoyed the stay at this home! Marcus was very quick in responding to any questions/requests given. Everything lined up with the photos provided in the listing and felt very comfortable with four guests present. Was able to fit two vehicles in the driveway and one vehicle out on the street. Parking beyond that is already hit or miss. Looking forward to staying here again if I’ll be in the area👍👍

Super communicative host. Incredibly responsive and flexible. Setting a high standard! Place was perfect fit for four couples and four young children. With good collection of kids games. Added touch of a s’mores maker. We enjoyed the multiple fireplaces, and flexibility of built in space heaters and mattress warmers. Location private, but a stone’s throw to “downtown” Government Camp. Easy walk to hiking, snowshoeing, or backcountry ski trails. Long driveway easily accommodated three cars, and parked sprinter van in parallel spot directly in front of house. Got a lot of snow during our stay, almost 2 feet, but had very regular clearing of street and driveways, so access was never an issue, though all wheel drive is necessary. Hard to beat.

Spotless home, truly cozy beds, thoughtful touches, a block from the main street (great restaurants and shops!). Jacob's home has all you need and more! Spent two evenings stargazing in the hot tub. Highly recommend!! We had a magical weekend including eating at Henni's, White Salmon Baking, Nativ and Everybody's Brewing. We hiked Wind Mountain and had a spectacular wine tasting at Loup de Loup winery. Perfect getaway! Jacob was a responsive and welcoming host!

The location is perfect. Close to everything we needed. The layout was just amazing. Lots of little touches that made any stay convenient. Every spice you could need. And the house was absolutely amazing at responding to our questions even when they were not the smartest. Can’t wait to return to Portland area so we can stay here again.

Beautiful home with enough space for a family with kiddos. Less expensive than area hotels, providing more than you would get with a hotel. Hots were friendly and helpful.

This is a beautiful historic looking home that has been updated to accommodate large families like our own. Sledding/skiing/snow boarding were about 45 min away and loads of fun! Shops/restaurants/cocktails were all within walking distance. Highlights were the view, the beauty of the home and, of course, the large Scrabble board on the lower level. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, utensils, two refrigerators, spices, and more. The beds were extremely comfy. The home was quick to warm up with forced air and a delightful gas fireplace (our trip was in January). Many thanks and we WILL be back! The hostess was very response and pleasantly accommodating.

We loved this cabin, especially during the snow and its proximity to Mt. Hood. We enjoyed the big table for card games and the super cozy living room and all the charm and fully appointed kitchen. It was perfect for our small families and we will definitely be coming back!

The house was very comfortable; spacious; offered guests a variety of seating areas (inside and out); very relaxing; felt like being home. The neighborhood was quiet; could even hear the crickets! The house amenities met guests needs. The kitchen was well appointed with cooking needs. One guest said the coffee maker made some "good coffee". The home is well situated for touring the area; nothing was too far away. Shops, restaurants, wineries were easily accessible.

I've stayed here twice now and each time it has been lovely. It's a perfect place to relax, cook, sit on the deck and enjoy the river go by, or read a book by the fire.

We initially intended our trip to Mt. Hood to be a snowboarding trip but this house really became the focal point of the trip. We had an amazing stay at Brenda and John's home. It is easily one of the top homes we've stayed at. It had so much charm, but was also renovated for modern amenities and comfort. The beds were really comfortable. Our party was 2 families, and this home had plenty of space and everything we needed. We loved the fireplace and the record player / sonos as well as the piano in the living room. The kitchen was also great, stocked with everything we needed, and a grill on the patio that was connected via natural gas. The kids room had a lot of options and we ended up playing a lot of ping pong and scrabble. Host wise, Brenda was amazing. She was available for every question and so helpful. I would definitely consider staying here again and have raved about it to all my friends.

Ryan was a super accommodating and easy to communicate with, property was secluded and peaceful with all the amenities you’d want on a vacation or work trip. Will definitely be back !

we really enjoyed our stay at Aliaina’s place! We were in the middle of a move and really needed some relaxing space and we felt like we were right at home here. I really love all of the special little touches. The hot tub was just what we needed at the end of a long day and it was a really cool view under the trees. Super walkable neighborhood and great restaurants very close by. I felt safe and secure and comfortable with my family we definitely would stay here again.
