I stayed for a month, and the apartment was great. It was so lovely to sit at the open windows overlooking the canal, the bed was very comfortable, I had everything I needed, and it's a short bike ride to anywhere. The tour of the upstairs was fascinating! Good to know: Part of the beauty of this place is that it's near the center, in the old section. That means there are canals everywhere, it has tons of character and history, and it's easy to get anywhere on foot or by bike. It also means that it is near a touristy area. Don't let that stop you! I don't like the hordes of tourists at all, but I was happy here. I simply rode a few blocks away at the busiest times to escape. And Herengracht itself in front of the building isn't crowded. Sure, canal tour boats glide by, but they're fun to watch. The couch is comfy, the chairs are less so, but two people can enjoy the couch. The kitchen is a little bit worn, but it was clean and served my purposes (I did not cook). I would return!

The house fits well the description and was easy to find. A bus stop only 4 minutes of walk and also there’s a supermarket with 7 minutes of walking. The place was clean, cozy and the cat is also really cute!

Muy buenos anfitriones, tanto Hanneke como Bart. Fuimos en família y nos hicieron sentir como en casa des del primer momento, siempre atentos y con ganas de ayudar. Por lo que respeta a la casa, es tal y como la imaginábamos gracias a las fotos, y la pareja de huéspedes nos puso muy fácil su uso. Ubicada en un barrio tranquilo, es un pueblito hermoso por el que pasear. Está alejado de Amsterdam, pero si se compra el Amsterdam regional ticket, está bien comunicado con bus y tren. Gracias por abrirnos las puertas, família! Repetiríamos seguro!

Un très agréable voyage à Amsterdam pour notre famille et notamment grâce à une très agréable et paisible maison de charme, bien pensé pour les familles. Le quartier est calme et sécurisé, les enfants jouent devant les maisons dans la rue avec très peu de passages de véhicules du côté jardin. Le jardin justement permet de manger et jouer à l'extérieur, le grand salon permet de se retrouver dans un coin plus cosy, les chambres sont spacieuses et pleine de vie. La salle de bain avec douche et baignoire est un plus !! La maison est à moins de 10 minutes à pieds (avec poussette) du métro en passant par la voie piétonne bordant les canaux, les transports en communs sont un plaisir de part la propreté et l'accessibilité ! L'hôte, Winston, nous à donné des indications très claires pour l'accès au logement et pour notre installation. Il est disponible très rapidement et répond à toutes nos questions. Merci Winston et sa famille !!! je recommande vivement ce logement !

We really enjoyed our stay at Alina and Tony's home. We were traveling with our 14 month old so it was great to have a crib, high chair and toys for her to play with. The house was super spacious and comfortable and it was beautiful to stay next to the canal! Would definitely recommend staying here!

My friends and I had a lovely stay at Kati and Pepijn's house. The house was clean and comfortable. There was a nice garden (which sadly we didn't enjoy much because of the weather 😅) but we did really enjoy the fire place ! The living room is very cosy with lots of board games, everything ones needs to cook and eat a nice meal. The beds were extremely warm and comfortable. The house is a short walk to a mall with a bus station, so it's easy to do groceries and get to the city, the bus station or the airport. The hosts are very easy to reach and always answered all my questions very fast :) And last but not least, Vili the cat was a great roommate ! He is friendly and very social. We all had a lovely time, thanks again ☺️

Our group of 4 enjoyed Mieke’s accommodations. We cooked in for breakfast and dinner; grocery store close and kitchen well stocked. Comfortable livingroom and beds. Nice to have 2 bathrooms. The garden space outside added a touch of hominess, along with her adorable cats; Willem especially entertained us! Location was great with trams to city center only a block away. Very responsive.

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo sogggiornato una settimana nella casa di Jos per poter visitare la Città. Con i mezzi pubblici è stato facile raggiungere sia l'aeroporto sia il centro con i vari musei. La casa di Jos è molto grande, comoda, ben arredata e pulita, è situata in un quartiere tranquillo vicino ad un lago con spiaggia. Non abbiamo conosciuto di persona Jos e la sua famiglia perché erano in vacanza nello stesso periodo, ma la comunicazione è stata semplice e tutte le indicazioni sono state chiare.

We had a really lovely stay and Marijke was the perfect host! The apartment was spacious, clean and we loved the art and our kids loved the board games she had set up. The location was quiet and central with lots of great restaurants and shops near by. We really enjoyed it and would highly recommend!

Really like the house of Tamara and Pierre-Yves, around 20 min. walk from Haarlem train station. Near there there is supermarket and bakery for breakfast and grocery. quiet neighborhood for good sleep, a lot of rooms, 3 beds and 1 extra sofa, good for group/family trip. Their house is tidy and clean, late check-in is no problem. They answered to questions quite quickly and provide also good local tips to us. They prepared some welcome wine and beers, really lovely host to be further recommended!

The apartment is very well-located. Rosie was lovely to deal with: very responsive and gave us excellent suggestions. The steep winding staircases to access the apartment and the one inside the apartment are perhaps not suitable for the infirm or elderly. The apartment wasn't super pristine, and a few things were in disrepair. Kind of like if you stayed at a friend's lived-in place, rather than a sterile hotel. The cats are funny and want very much to be where they shouldn't. Good mousers.

We had a wonderful time at William and Christa property. The house was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing getaway. Christa was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making the booking process and check-in a breeze. We especially enjoyed the beautiful front yard and backyard garden and peaceful neighborhood. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Es hat alles gut geklappt. Ein süßes Haus in einer coolen Stadt. Den Herd fanden wir besonders schick, da konnten wir Pfannekuchen in der Mitte backen. Vielen Dank für alles.

Really great place between Amsterdam and Utrecht, close to the highway. Had a great time at this beautiful house

Nice unit in row housing, very quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space, and a well-appointed kitchen for cooking. Right off the canal, with a large playground, grocery store, and tram into central Amsterdam a short walk away. Was too cold for swimming but seems possible. Ivan was great at helping us get settled in. The description was a little vague on bedding, but there is a master bedroom with a large bed, and 2 smaller bedrooms upstairs, all sharing a bathroom. The one bedroom had a loft bed, and the other had an air mattress, which was fine for our 2 kids. This definitely lived in by Boris's family including younger kids, and rented part-time, so definitely "lived in", but also means there's lots of games and such. Some "interesting" possibly kid-inappropriate pictures, if they're paying attention! Overall a perfect place for a few days in Amsterdam!

We have been to Utrecht several times. This was one of our favorite AirBnbs. We would return in a heartbeat. Enjoyed being along the canal. The apartment is actually much more quaint and attractive in person than what the photos indicate. There is a bit of a walk to the center of the historic district but quite manageable and enjoyable.

Natasja est une hôte accueillante et a l’écoute. Elle a été d’une aide très précieuse tout au long du séjour. Concernant l’appartement il était au-delà de nos attentes, spacieux, cosy et très bien situé. Je recommande à 100%

The house of René’s is much better than what in the pictures, which was designed and renovated with high quality and tast. I love the garden as well, with the beautiful rose and birds. Every morning you will be waken up by the nice birds singing. The location is easy for both pedestrians and for those with bike, auto or boat. René makes notes clearly. You would find all facilities easy to use. Next time if I go to Muiten I would definitely choose the same house.

Marie's place was outstanding and we had a great stay. It is super quiet and comfy, shops with everything you need nearby, calm yet close to the center. Would love to come again!

This was the perfect house for me and our three kids (17, 15, 13). The moment we walked in, we felt at home. It's a gorgeous house with so much character and history to it, beautifully decorated and with lots of space for all of us to hang out and sleep. The location is also fantastic: safe, pretty and you can walk/bike everywhere easily from there plus take a train from the nearby central station to get to yet other places. Nanja is a wonderful host, our communication was seamless. Thank you for letting us stay at your house!

Wir waren 3 ältere Frauen, welche die Unterkunft von Maren gebucht haben. Uns hat die sehr ruhige Umgebung äusserst gut gefallen, vor allem, dass wir nachts ausgezeichnet schlafen konnten. Auch wenn wir von der Central Station 15' mit der Tram fahren mussten und dann 5' zu Fuss, war das für uns absolut kein Problem. Wir haben nicht in der Unterkunft gegessen, aber es wäre alles vorhanden gewesen, um Mahlzeiten zu kochen. Allgemein hat alles gut geklappt und wir würden die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen.

He had a wonderful 5 days of stay, along with family. Wonderful experience. - the house was huuge and spacious. Big living, dining, full kitchen, service area and a toilet in the ground floor, 2 good sized bedrooms a bathroom/ toilet on the first and a huge 3rd bedroom in the 2nd floor - the house was Squeeky clean, well equipped, 5-mins from the nearest bus stop - all furnishings were comfortable. - we were able to travel to Amsterdam Central in 45 mins using 1 bus and a tram. - Bae was very friendly and very responsive Totally recommend and would definitely return during another visit to Amsterdam.
