Well, what an absolutely fantastic and peaceful day at clifftop lodge. Beautiful surroundings with a lovely view of the sea which was lovely to wake up to in the morning. The lodge had absolutely everything you need, even a travel cot and high chair which was a god send for our 8 month old. The bed was comfy and warm and the en suites shower was to die for! Recommend the club house on site for friendly company and well priced drinks. We also visited the on site swimming pool which is free to use and quiet (we was the only ones in there) our baby loved it! Thank you Sue and Mike, we can’t wait to stay again in the future!

Absolutely beautiful weekend at Jacob hut. The hut was a clean and tidy space perfect for a cosy weekend. Plenty of space for dining in - in adverse weather -once you fold the bed up. But the outside space is perfect in good weather. The location was brilliant for peace and tranquility, there's a lovely pub a 10 minute walk away - The Rising Sun (take a torch for evenings!) that serves great food. Matt was super responsive and the pre-heat of the hot tub is well worth organising. He also took our luggage up in the buggy to save dragging it up the hill! For those that are dubious about a wood fired hot tub like I was - there's a cold water hose next to it so we could control the temperature where required which was a huge bonus. Matt provides plenty of kindling and logs - we had it on all weekend! The breakfast hamper was lovely, and easy to cook in the kitchen space with plenty of kitchen equipment/utensils. Thanks so much Matt - will definitely return!

Had a fantastic weekend for my husbands 40th birthday. You don’t have to leave the cottage as there is so much to do, but the pool is by far the show stopper. We spent many an hour in there, the temperature was fab. Weymouth is just a short 10 min drive where there is so much to do so it’s in a great location. House was spotless, amenities amazing. Cannot fault a thing. Andrew is very responsive and friendly. We will be back!

Such an amazing property in a great, central location. The house was very clean and has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Julie was a great host with good communication.

Very pretty place right at the high street. Had everything we needed and walking distance to attractions and food places nearby. Comfortable and clean. Loved the different types of body soap, shampoo and conditioner, which smelt lovely. Could be a bit noisy if people along the street were making noise (and being insensitive to those around) but no fault of the apartment.

Amazing location up in the hills. Quiet, peaceful with beautiful views (and sunrises!). The Lodge is well equipped, modern and still cosy with some really nice touches...including home made brownies on arrival! :-) The wood fired hot tub took some figuring out, but once warmed up made a lovely way to finish the evening looking up at the stars and across Exeter. Friendly, helpful and responsive hosts. We really look forward to returning!

Wow, what a stunning location. It's every bit as beautiful as in the photos. We watched glorious sunsets from the terrace and enjoyed walks on the beach. I enjoyed looking around the immaculately kept gardens and could have watched the colourful koi in the pond for hours, plus the two cute horses in the field. Andrew's directions to the house are spot-on, please don't trust your satnav or you risk being taken down some very narrow lanes with grass growing in the middle and no passing places. Ask me how I know. There is no mobile reception at the house, as you would expect given the location, but the wifi is very good. Beds and bedding super comfortable.

fantastic property with an amazing view which gets better with the balcony where you can walk out and take in the wonderful views of the bay. everything you could possibly need is provided in this exceptionally clean property, with the added welcoming touches of fresh flowers sweets and a bottle of fizz were the icing on the cake . Steve is a fantastic and friendly host who responded quickly when we needed a boost in heating on a chilly evening if you are looking for a cozy and comfortable get away with a magnificent sea view look no further just , we counting down the days until our next stay already in May . thank you Steve for an amazing holiday home 10/10

We stayed at Tristan’s beautiful house for 3 nights - 3 generations to celebrate a 85th birthday! It was perfect for us, the garage was a godsend for 1 car & to keep my father-in-law’s mobility scooter in! The location was amazing, a couple of pubs literally on the doorstep, the beach a 1 min stroll. Tristan was great at communicating - there was a little hiccup (nothing serious) and he sorted it immediately. Would we go back - in a heartbeat. Thanks for a great stay.
