We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Stephen’s beautiful house. The house is lovely and light with a big kitchen and comfortable beds. It is extremely clean throughout. It has air conditioning in the main area, fans in bedrooms and central heating (we were there in summer). The house is very private, and on a super quiet cul de sac where even traffic noise is unusual. Stephen was helpful and responsive and the bottle of wine and coffee pod machine were wonderful touches. Mobile internet access is patchy, though largely useable with Telstra. Blackheath is lovely and the house is well placed for Govetts Leap and Evans Lookouts and the Grand Canyon walk (though best with a car). We would love to go back to Stephen’s house one day.

We had a fabulous stay, our toddler loved all of the kid-friendly backyard activities, especially the yurt. Everything was comfortable and clean, was fabulous having a washer and dryer as well. Highly recommend for families visiting Katoomba!

Wonderful two nights at Avondale cottage, fabulous location (short walk to some incredible bushwalking) and very comfortable house.

Beautiful property out in the blue mountains. Spacious kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas. Great escape to have a weekend away outside the hustle and bustle of Sydney CBD. Would definitely come here again if looking to stay in the blue mountains. Highly recommend!

The BnB is well-provisioned, clean, nice and comfortably furnished. You feel like you are being embraced by the bush, and yet feel comfortable and warm inside the abode. It would be ideal as a winter hideaway to write a book. As my wife said when we were leaving, it was a great choice.

Angela's place is a peaceful, spacious and surrounded by greens. the garden at the back is perfect to play with kids. it is only a short drive from Katoomba shops, echo point and other amazing Blue mountains attractions. in addition there are some nice bushwalk close to the house. Angela is an excellent host, we were welcomed with snacks, wine and sweets perfect after driving from Sydney :) I highly recommend this place!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in Leura! The house was cozy, tastefully decorated, and had all the amenities we could possibly need. From games and books to a charming cubby house for the kids in the backyard, it truly felt like a home away from home. The property was perfect for relaxing and unwinding. We just wished we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy everything it had to offer. Highly recommend for anyone looking to escape to the Blue Mountains!

I went with my husband and it was so beautiful and perfect. Everything was tidy and organised, it was such a romantic experience staying at the loft. Breakfast proportions were very generous, and the hosts went out of their own way to ensure our stay was perfect and assisted us when needed. It was very private and peaceful, beautiful birds came and sat on the private balcony with us which was a wonderful view. Beautiful waterfalls around that you can visit as well which is a bonus. Luxurious apartment right in the heart of Katoomba. Extremely convenient location and easy to access. The apartment has everything you need to cook. Lovely comfortable beds. Quality linen and amenities. There is also a laundry. Highly recommended.

Anna was an amazing host - very friendly, funny and kind. I had the best sleeps in the bed and the fireplace is perfect for when it gets cold. The location is excellent - walking distance to the train and the main street. Thank you Anna for a very enjoyable and rejuvenating holiday. You're awesome.

Denise was the consummate host, friendly and a wealth of helpful suggestions. If you’re not familiar with the area, I highly recommend her advice. The place was cosy and perfect for our weekend away.

Très bien placé. Lits confortables. Bel agencement et belles salles de bain. Manque un peu de lumière naturelle, d’équipements (pas de cafetière) et wifi très faible. C’était très pratique de pouvoir utiliser la machine à laver et le sèche linge.

We’re 5 mature ladies and holiday twice a year at different locations. Amaroo would be top of our list. Fantastic location. Easy to find. Squeaky clean, very well equipped, great kitchen facilities, spacious and peaceful. Great hot tub! We will be back!

The house is so spectacular, such a perfect location within walking distance of town, and with the most incredible views. We loved our stay!

Solstice was absolutely magnificent and fulfilled all our expectations. A stylish and beautifully designed home with gorgeous gardens gave us a wonderful family holiday. The house is beautifully equipped, great kitchen, multiple living and working spaces, stunning spa. The attention to detail here is quite exceptional. We loved eating outdoors in the sunny weather and retreated to the living room with open fire when it was misty and wet. Location is perfect, short stroll to Blackheath for great coffee, artisan bread and dining at the magnificent Ates (book ahead). Our hosts were excellent communicators and everything about our stay worked smoothly. We will certainly book again.

We have a lovely, peaceful and relaxing few nights at Dadirri Retreat celebrating a special family birthday. The house was very impressive with amazing views, great facilities and was very clean and comfortable. It was perfect for three adult couples as each couple had their own bedroom space and bathroom. The house is a short drive to Kurrajong which has a supermarket, bottle shop, a few nice restaurants and cafes and a good takeaway pizza place. Simon was very friendly and available to answer questions and make our stay a great one. Would love to return one day!

Only stayed for one night but we enjoyed our stay! Air conditioning in the rooms, clean washrooms and comfy beds were very welcome after a day of hiking and swimming!

We enjoyed the gardens and beautiful space. It was perfect for our family of four (including 2 teens) and our dog. The beds were super comfortable. We had a really lovely time.

If you're looking at these reviews wondering if you should stay here at Shipley Glen Lodge... stop it. Stop contemplating and book as fast as you can! This place is PERFECT. 10 out of 10 on everything you can think of — space, amenities, location, surrounds, comfort, hosts, beauty. Easily, hands down, without a doubt the very best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Our family stayed for Christmas 2024 and it made it so memorable for us. We spent time cooking together in the kitchen, playing board games on the big dining table, lazing on the deck, admiring the beautiful birds and wildlife right there in the backyard, going for nearby hikes, day dreaming to the gorgeous views, and staring in awe at 5am at the amazing sun rises that would stream through the bedrooms. Truly magical. The hosts: Mary, Jon, Blake, and Ally were all so so helpful, friendly, and responsive. It was a true pleasure and honor being able to stay here, and would stay again in a heartbeat.
