Angela’s holiday home is exactly that a home away from home . The feeling of simple shack/ holiday life but with attention to every detail is evident from the opening of the door . As the classical music played the sense of relaxation begins …… The extensive open plan kitchen , living , dining extends out to wonderful outdoor living deck space with wonderful vista amongst the agapanthas and yachts bobbing in the bay below … The beach is right in front of the shack a few mins walk with crystal clear water from Fredrick Henry Bay. Guests have an enormous garden and bbq Patio area soaking with summer sun and the added company of a Terra Cotta Warrior standing amongst the foliage . Each bedroom has superb linens / soft pillows /incredibly comfortable beds & rugs and electric blankets for those cooler Southern coastal nights . The art work amongst the whole of the house brings a feel of nostalgia- great water pressure beautiful books. Highlight separate retreat games reading room 10/10

Great place to stay,very homely,spacious,clean and comfortable.Peaceful and quiet area,but not too far from local amenities.Great choice of restaurants,cafes and bars within 5 /10mins . Love that the house is dog friendly,enclosed rear garden,nice and safe for four legged friends.

Extremely spacious and comfortable Airbnb! Short 10-15 min drive to Hobart for all the tourist activities. Ros was incredibly helpful and provided easy instructions for our late night check in and even left the light on for our arrival. He was able to help coordinate a neighbor borrowing me a needle/thread to repair my 9 month old son’s hat which helped alleviate the stress of trying to look for some while on holiday. We enjoyed relaxing at the home and were pleased with all the provided necessities for a great stay! Highly recommend!

This is one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. There’s private parking and the house is private and quiet. The living space is modern and comfortable, great for our needs. The outside space was a bonus. Thank you Andrew.

Stunning views, tranquil surrounds, lots of space, fully stocked pantry and kitchen. Loved the wildlife. Stephen is a great host and communicated promptly. Easy access to Huon Valley, Bruny Island and Hobart surrounds. Would gladly stay again!

We really liked Janet’s place. It’s great for walking, being a few minutes walk from the Hobart Rivulet linear park, which you can take to the CBD or to look for platypuses in the evening (they’re there). Other parks and trails aren’t far away either. Right at home you’ve got a view of the Organ Pipes at kunanyi/Mount Wellington from the glass-walled living room and back deck. That’s one of the modern features that have been added to an older house; another is a big bathroom with a rain shower that you can turn on without getting cold water dumped on you, thank goodness. It’s on a quiet street and we never noticed any noise from traffic or neighbours. Lastly, Janet in the most responsive host we’ve ever had, whether on Airbnb or other platforms. She dealt thoroughly with a couple of topics in just minutes.

Nick is a very friendly and accommodating host, the house was clean, excellent views to the beach. Highly recommend.

This is the second time I have stayed it’s a great location View to the mountain while eating breakfast is fantastic but no snow this trip hoping for dusting of snow next trip in may enjoy the walk to the supermarket ( 5 mins ) What can you say the pinball machines keep you busy great father and son activity Once again many thanks tony always available for help if you need it

This place was a true gem! We really enjoyed the sizeable kitchen, which made making meals easier. The convient location close to a grocery store and restaurants was also a plus!

James and Belle’s place was very clean and welcoming. They had everything you need to feel comfortable. We were also surprised by how quiet it was inside being so close to an intersection. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

We really enjoyed our stay at 8 Brook Street! Absolutely beautiful apartment with spacious and comfortable bedrooms + bathrooms and kitchen. Really comfy open plan lounge area. So close to amazing pubs, restaurants and the Brook Street Pier - we caught the MONA ferry, which was a 2 min walk across the road! So yes - really wonderful Airbnb, thank you Gabriela xx

We had a very lovely long weekend staying here. Really cosy, clean and comfortable. Plenty of room. Quiet area. Generously resourced; it had everything you'd need. The bathroom isn't completely private from the bedroom but we managed just fine.

We had an enjoyable stay at Tom & Pam's place. The cottage is comfortable & functional. The kitchen is fully equipped & well stocked. The surroundings are pleasant & the garden is beautiful. We would stay there again next time we're in Hobart.

We had a lovely stay. It was a good base for our explorations. And Rose was really nice, even allowed me to have some mail sent there and helped coordinate. Great IGA supermarket nearby, and some food was also ready for us in the fridge.

Zoe’s place had everything we needed, it was only a 20 min walk down to the port, and shops were close by so only used our car once during our week stay. The parking for the car was a little tight but manageable. Comfy bed with great views, you do hear the tenants above some times but not an issue. Great value for money! Thanks Zoe

Very nice stay. Jodi was very helpful, friendly and informative. Great location. The apartment was very clean and tidy. Walking distance to shops cafes, restaurants, bars and public transport. Undercover parking for the hire car. Plenty of tourist brochures, maps and helpful information on hand.

Peter and Trisha were excellent hosts providing us with all the information we needed for our stay. The unit is right in the heart of Salamanca close (no car needed) to restaurants, bars and cafes. The unit itself is very comfortable and welcoming and you have everything you need for a great stay.

Second time I’ve stayed at Arthurton central and loved it. Beautifully luxurious in all inclusions and amenities. Well appointed kitchen and large, comfortable bedrooms. Easy walk to Salamanca and battery point. A wonderful property and very communicative and helpful host.

Our stay was exactly as we thought it would be - but better. The accommodation was fresh and clean and welcoming. The beds were the most comfortable we have very slept in! We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh fruit and breakfast supplies! The unit was so close to the amazing beach and local eateries yet we felt we were much further away as it was so quiet and peaceful. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone!

We had 4 nights at Fiona’s place , great spot to stay in Hobart within walking distance to Salamanca and central hobart , Fiona was very responsive to our needs , The tv wasn’t working when we arrived , Fiona had the Tv working by the next business day , Hobart penitentiary was an interesting tour , the Salamanca markets were amazing , Mona Posh pit experience was such fun too , Thanks Fiona 🌺

Andrew’s place in Hobart was excellent! Close to the harbor and CBD, easy to walk just about everywhere. Access from the airport via SkyBus was also close & convenient. The apartment was clean, well stocked with all the basics, and the kitchen was spacious and ready to cook in. It felt very relaxing and home like. The sleeper sofa was nice for my son, and the king bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay again if available. Thank you, Andrew!

Our family really enjoyed our stay in Hobart. One of the major reasons was the place we stayed. First of all, the room was very clean and well decorated. Next, there were many available items and kitchenware. Also, there was a fireplace that came surprisingly handy when we got to roast marshmallows. The location is very close to many famous places in Hobart and the hosts were very friendly and recommended a local restaurant to us. The only problem was the steep and narrow driveway. But overall it was a very nice place to stay.

Our stay at Brain’s place was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space to chill out and a fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker really made it. Thank you Brian!
