Beautiful home with excellent views of the lake and valley--it was especially lovely as the leaves were turning. Also, the place has dark skies for star-gazing on a clear night. All rooms were clean and as-presented in the photos and description. Jeff sent some very helpful info and photos to help us drive in to the house--especially helpful since the last ~1 mile is on a private, relatively narrow road. Also, my Android Maps app on my phone was clearly sending me to the wrong location (i.e., not to the lake), so we relied on my spouse's I-Phone--which brought us right in. (Interestingly, Google Maps on my laptop had showed the correct location, but Google navigation on my phone was pointing elsewhere.) Recommend you pre-check your nav feature in advance of your arrival. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a serene location with great views and lake access.

Beautiful cabin and great host. Great view from cabin and lots of dear in the evening. Very quiet and peaceful. Not a lot to do in the immediate area but everything we needed fairly close. Great central location to get to all kinds of surrounding areas, activities and locations. Would very highly recommend this cabin and host.

Betsy’s house on Smith Mountain Lake is wonderful. From the driveway it looks like a jiggly small cottage. You go inside and wow! What a surprise! 6 bedrooms on two floors, a screened in porch, a deck and wonderful dock and boathouse. We enjoyed ourselves so much here.

Our recent stay at this charming Airbnb cabin exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, it was clear the hosts put thought into every detail. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The cabin was filled with rustic touches that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen was stocked with essentials, making it easy to prepare meals, and the beds were comfortable. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

Fred’s place was worth the ratings I gave. We were in the area looking to buy retirement him and only stayed one night, but would definitely stay at this property again. Very nice home for any length of stay at the lake. Thank you! Dave and Traci

Everything about this getaway was wonderful. The surroundings, the proximity to hiking or biking, the host, etc. I don’t think I’ve ever rented a more well stocked equipped kitchen. We will be back.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at Julie’s place and once again every expectation met. We were able to grill out on a beautiful Saturday and everything you needed was included. Thank you. 100% recommend this place.

Kirk’s home is situated in a pristine, bucolic, and scenic spot right on the Little River. We enjoyed several fires on the fire pit right by the river where we watched the stars while the rushing river serenaded us in the background. Great hiking spots nearby and wonderful restaurant options within 15-20 minutes from the property. Food City, a lathe and spotless store for groceries, was ten minutes away in Radford. The house has views of the river from all the large windows throughout the downstairs. The large back porch was great for grilling and enjoying an al fresco meal while taking in the panoramic views. The bathrooms are immaculate and the home was comfortable and met all our needs during our stay. Kirk was a short message away with instructions on how to operate the grill. We cannot wait to return in the summer to do some tubing in the river. I highly recommend Kirk’s beautiful home and property!

The Sunflower Suite is a wonderful space! It is cozy and feels like home. We especially enjoyed the fireplace. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the entire apartment is clean and inviting. Patricia and Gene are kind and hospitable. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Christiansburg.

The mill was a perfect place for us. We love history and the setting was beautiful. For such an old structure we found it to be warm,cozy, beautiful and very comfortable. The floor to ceiling windows were wonderful. We enjoyed taking our E bikes out even at 43*! Very scenic and little to no traffic on the road. Such a gem! Many thanks to the hosts for creating a lovely getaway and sharing it with the rest of us!

It's always a pleasure to stay at Miss Susan and Mr. Tom's charming bed and breakfast. It is beyond comfortable and inviting. The breakfast muffins were just wonderful 😊

We were lucky to book this fabulous, huge space. The entire space was charming and comfortable. We loved the cozy chairs in front of the fireplace. Philip was a great host, very quick to respond and helpful. 100/10 highly recommend.

We went for a football game and the room was just what we needed! Very comfortable and the space is walkable to many places. Christine was great at communication and we’d love to stay there again for another hokie event!

My family LOVED the holiday decorations! It was a nice touch. We don't get to see each other for Christmas and we gathered together for my graduation. We did both together. There are a lot of rooms and you can set the temperature in each. Great communication with the owner and the owner's friend came by to handle things too. I think that one of my family members could not find out how to do something in the house. She was just SO kind and personable!! The kitchen(s) and family rooms were great family friendly connected spaces. My aunt enjoyed the "chef's kitchen" and appreciated the myriad of cooking and serving vessels! One area of concern was the dirty towels. I assume that is because of a previous guest who did not follow the clear instructions, but I don't know. It was a wonderful blessed experience and great to be with so many family members under one roof!!
