Patti and David have a very cool place, not too far outside of Austin. During my trip I spent some time in the city and then some time out west of town at this Airbnb. It was a much appreciated change of pace and was a wonderful home base to check out the hiking and local food and drink options.

There are 2 houses on this property. I was staying 2 months, and about 10 days into my stay the hot water heater began leaking in the Plum Cottage. A replacement heater had to be ordered. I was offered the chance to move to the other (bigger) Stone House at no additional cost, either until the repair was made, or for the duration of my stay. I chose to remain at the bigger house for the duration. Not only was it an upgrade, but it kept me from having to move all my stuff yet again. That was a very kind offer !! Although this location is in the country and very peaceful, Wimberley is just a short drive for any needed supplies or to visit shops and restaurants. As I'd drive down the road this property is on, folks would wave when passing. I once encountered a deer in the yard as I was heading out. It moved a little farther away, but was still enjoying being on the property a little later when I returned. Nice to be in nature and able to share the same space. A pleasant stay !!

Linda was an amazing host. She answered all our questions immediately and was always accommodating if we needed anything. The home was an incredible place to stay. Where else can you walk out onto the porch with your morning coffee, and watch Texas Longhorns? We saw foxes, deer, and lot of birds. If you love nature, and being someplace peaceful, you need to do yourself a favor, and book this place! Oh, and in case you are wondering, the internet is great. I work remotely and had no issues with working, or streaming entertainment. I spent most my time outside during my workday, looking at all the wildlife, while my colleagues were surrounded by 4 walls, and very jealous :)

We loved MP’s place! It was wonderful for our group of 3 families! The pool was so lovely, we adored the outdoor table, & the pickleball court was so much fun! We cooked every meal in the kitchen & enjoyed gathering around! I would go back. I will say when we first got there, we killed 3 scorpions & another crawled out of a bathroom sink the first morning. Of course this was very concerning! Mary Pat was very prompt in calling me & said they very rarely have that issue. We definitely wore shoes the whole time & checked all sinks, toilets, & showers. However, we still had a great time & I would go back!

We came back here for the second time because we loved it so much the first time and can’t wait to go back again. The joke is lovely, the farm is an excellent escape and is in proximity to Fredericksburg and all the vineyards along the way. Amy and Michael are excellent hosts, breakfast with them was a joy both in terms of company and the delicious food!

This was the most incredible place I have ever stayed in my life - and I have done some traveling! The pictures and description couldn’t even prepare me for how amazing it was. Not only is it gorgeous, unique, spacious, and clean - with every single amenity you could think of - the hosts were so helpful and kind! Super responsive but let us have our privacy after check in. I could not have asked for a better place to stay on a weekend away. And only an hour from my house in Austin! I am already planning on my next trip back. It really brought the group together in the most special way. I am eternally grateful!

If you're looking to get away from crowds and have space to yourself, this is the place! Keep in mind that this location is NOT intended to be a luxury stay...it is rugged and set up similar to a hunting lodge. At the time of our stay, there were 2 sets of bunk beds, so for couples, there is either going to be a crowded bed, or you'll have to sleep separate. This wasn't an issue for us, as we knew what we were getting into to begin with, but something others should keep in mind when booking this location. It is comfortable, and on a ranch with lots of land, so staying here allows for exploration. For us, we'll definitely stay here again. Carl was super nice, and was more than willing to accommodate wherever necessary. We made a new friend by staying here!

Love staying in campfire circle and Donna’s place was no exception. It was perfect for our crew, had stunning views, lots of deer, and each room was cutely decorated for Christmas. The house is FULLY stocked with anything you may need, which is much appreciated. This is how Airbnb used to be before all the good properties were snatched up by corporations. Classic, family owned home with all the charm and attention to detail.

We came to Jana’s oasis to celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend and get away from our busy every day lives. This place was just what we were looking for. The home is spectacular and we loved how private it was. We also brought along our 11 month old baby and he felt like at home and safe. We loved all the windows with the natural lighting and how well decorated it was. The highlight was seeing a fox right outside our window. Would come here again and recommend to friends and family!

The cabin was cozy and comfortable! The friendly and fabulous donkeys, horses and goats made our stay EXTRA SPECIAL! Thank you for allowing us this experience!

We had a great stay and did a little deer hunting. There were lots of deer and the place was as advertised. The place was very clean and nice!

We loved our stay at Tina’s place! It was beautiful and comfortable, and we loved getting to see the animals around the farm! It was the perfect space for a weekend trip.

My wife and I just finished a 3 night stay here and could not be happier. We needed a place to get away and recharge and Lisa’s place fit the bill. This was the most well thought out Air B&B that we’ve ever stayed in. We brought a few items that we would normally bring for a stay and found that Lisa already had those items available for us. The cabin felt brand new and we had everything we could have wanted. Overall, this was a terrific stay and we cannot wait to come back! We look forward to looking out for the butterflies and additional wildlife next time we stay!

Neat place outside Austin. Trailer was well equipped and comfortable. The bath house was nice and clean. They have a playground, mini golf course, outdoor pavilion and hammocks about to relax in. Well lit pathways at night.

One of the best Airbnb experiences. Kelly is the sweetest, amazing host! The Airbnb was amazing and myself and friends enjoyed our stay! Kelly was so sweet and responsive and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay!

Came here with a large group of friends to celebrate my birthday. Everyone fit very comfortably. The property is amazing, the house and dome were so clean and well decorated. The property has a ton of space to hang out, the party barn was awesome. Hosts were very responsive to all questions. Highly recommend if you have a large group!

Wow!! This was the coolest Air B&B we’ve ever stayed at! Everything is as described. It’s almost unbelievable. We stayed 4 nights and left without wanting to leave. Myra and her husband are very hospital. Communication was great. They have a house on the property but they give you privacy. Her husband can be seen working around the property during the day keeping these nice and clean and working the ranch. We stayed with a 4 year old, 3 yr old and a 1 year old. We definitely hope to stay again in the future.

Absolutely lovely place!! we were looking for a private place where we could relax for the weekend and we definitely found it. Looks just like pictures. Very clean and cozy. Easy check-in. No trouble finding a place. The infinity pool is absolutely amazing and what we enjoyed the most. would 100% recommend to anyone. We had a wonderful stay! I’m certain will be staying again in the future.

Great location, peaceful and quiet. House super clean. Comfortable bed.great shower. Nice amenities and great coffe! we enjoyed seating outside watching stars at night. Good local recommendations. stayed here and went for day hike to Pedernales.

This was our 2nd time to use this beautiful country home for our big family ladies retreat overflow. The same 5 of our group stayed here both years and loved every thing about it! It is so peaceful and serene and they love getting to explore the property. Amy is the best and I appreciate all she does to make her guest house comfortable for 5 of the ladies in our group!

Beautiful location with great amenities. We love the BBQ / Rec area.

We were there for the week of Thanksgiving with 14 adults and 1 toddler. We appreciated having two gathering spaces and the setting was beautiful. It was nice to not feel like we had neighbors so close. I did not check the listing closely when I booked but it clearly states that the pool is not heated; and due to the time of year we were there it could not be heated at all. Unsure if we would have paid to have it heated as cost was high. Overall, we appreciated the space. Beds were comfortable.

Loved our stay in this adorable perfect sized cabin in Texas hill country. We stayed for a wedding at camp Lucy nearby, and this was a perfect stay for our short trip. Would absolutely recommend this stay.

Such a wonderfully decorated and cozy home. The beds were superb, and the place itself was so stylish. Loved the decor throughout the whole house. If you want to walk to town to explore, just walk to it. Seriously right down from us. Would definitely stay again.
