We had a wonderful peaceful stay at Siggy’s which was completed kitted out including hot tub. It’s a great spot to sightsee many of the things in the Golden Circle and the south of the island. The cottage is cosy and warm even when weather outside was -6C. There are many great hiking trails and nature in abundance. Would highly recommend

Lovely cabin, everything is clean and nice, they care about every little detail. Jacuzzi is amazing, sauna is very easy to use, we happened to watch amazing northern lights show from the hot tub. There’s a lot of hiking trails around and the lake area itself is beautiful. Also the cabin is equipped with everything you need, all the grill tools, washing powder, robes and slippers, everything is perfectly thought through. Highly recommend!!

We liked the place stayed 8 people. Dmitrii was accommodating to let us book last minute. Vik had storm and we returned back to area to enjoy some good Auroras.

I’m so grateful that I booked this apartment. Maria was outstanding, very attentive, responded always quickly and she even bake us a delish dessert. Cabin is exactly as described. Bed is good, space is beautiful and I was able to see the auroras from the cabin. Cabin is near the restaurant area of the city and lots of the amazing waterfalls that Iceland has to offer. This was a once in a lifetime experience. Thanks for everything!

Stayed as a group of 4 adults for 3 nights in January. Wonderful space. Very comfortable, warm and well appointed with clear instructions. The Hot tub was lovely and loads of space for 4 adults. Great location to explore- we used as a base to explore the Golden Circle, Skogafoss and Hvergerdi- all easy drive. And having the secret lagoon nearby was lovely for an evening unwind as well. Highly recommend

Stayed here three nights to explore the south of Iceland. Great spot for a base to explore the sites and for hikes. Even though the hot water smelt of egg I loved the idea of it all being geothermically heated and my skin and hair felt amazing after, hot tub was a great bonus. Cabin was massive with everything we needed and more, Spotify on the tv :) warm and snug and the hosts left great instructions. Thanks again :)

A special place that I hope to be able to go back to one day! Beautiful landscape and felt very connected to nature. Evenings in the hot tube looking at the stars is a memory for life! Very responsive and supportive host!

Parfait, rien à redire! Il a neigé avant notre arrivée ce qui a rendu les lieux encore un peu plus magique. La maison a tout ce qu’il faut, c’est chaleureux et confortable! Les lits sont aussi très bien! On était complètement convaincu et nous ne pouvons que recommander les lieux! Nous avons également pu voir les aurores boréales! Les lieux sont parfait pour cela. Si vous arrivez en hiver et qu’il y a de la neige fraîche , c’est vraiment tout de suite après la barrière à activer avec le numéro de téléphone. Genre 50-100 mètres plus loin que la barrière… tout était recouvert de neige et il faisait nuit. Mais sinon c’est super facile à trouver!

We absolutely loved staying at Hjörtur’s property - peaceful, private, cosy, welcoming and exactly as described. The hot tub with geothermal water was the highlight, as it allowed us to observe northern lights from the warm embrace of the healing water, leaving our skin and hair super soft and our bodies and minds super relaxed. The location of the cottage is perfect for exploring the Golden Circle and we couldn’t have asked for a better first time experience in Iceland. Hjörtur was fast to respond to our messages and was extremely helpful. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, private retreat, with options to hike and explore stunning Icelandic landmarks. We will be back!

Die Hütte ist wie im Märchen eingerichtet, sehr schön dekoriert und super gemütlich. Man merkt, dass Agnes das Haus mit Liebe pflegt. Alles ist super sauber und Verpflegung sowie skin care sind vorhanden. Man kann sich bei Agnes richtig was gönnen. Die Hütte liegt auf einem Hügel in der Nähe vom Geysir und Gullfoss - eine Super-Lage für einen Urlaub in Island. Der Nachteil ist die große Entfernung zum nächsten Supermarkt. Aber Agnes ist sehr vorsorglich: Der Kühlschrank war bereits gefüllt als wir ankamen und keiner von uns musste hungern. Auch die Küche war voll eingerichtet mit Gewürz, Öl, Lebensmittel im Vorrat und Küchengeräten. Die Kommunikation mit Agnes war auch großartig. Sie hat uns immer schnell geantwortet und uns schnell geholfen, wenn wir Probleme hatten.

I booked this cabin for a short stay in Iceland to see the various sites of the golden circle. The location was perfect for accessing the ring road, as well as beautifully remote and private. The views were stunning and the amenities were fantastic. Check in was extremely smooth and the house is laid out perfectly to feel right at home. It is furnished very well and the hot tub/sauna were incredible. Everything was easy to use and worked without issue. I would highly recommend this stay and, without a doubt, we will be returning next time.

We absolutely loved our time at Lydur and Elva's place! It was clean, cozy, charming and filled with everything we needed. It was fantastic to be able to come back to a hot tub and warm, welcoming home every day. Lydur and Elva were kind and flexible when meeting us early in the morning after our early arrival--we were so grateful for that and for being able to stay at their wonderful place!

What a fabulous find. Just far out to be a quiet oasis but extremely close to all golden circle beauty spots. You will need a 4x4. We saw the northern lights from the cabin no problems. Felix was super helpful with amy questions we had. We loved it. 😍

Le logement proposé n'a pas de cuisine. C'est une grande chambre avec une salle de bain et un salon. malgré tout, l'hôte nous a prêté des ustensiles de cuisine et un accès à son barbecue

Frederikke byla velice milá a pozorná,vše dobře popsala. V chatě jsme se cítili jako doma,mohli jsme použít hot pot,který nám majitelka nastavila na požadovanou teplotu. Všude bylo čisto. Děkujeme.

We had a fantastic time at Katrin’s place. The house was very comfy with everything you need. Beds were great and so was the hottub. Kitchen was very well equipped as well. The house is at a small settlement, very private situation at a small hill with fantastic views. It is located close to golden circle highlight. Katrin was very quick to respond to all our questions and had some great suggestions for the area. We had the most fantastic Nothern Light viewings. You do need a 4x4 in winter but roads are made snow free regularly. All in all a great experience and an absolute recommended place to stay in winter.

A lovely air b&b with everything you need! Amazing night sky views - made even better with the hot-tub! Also close to some lovely waterfalls and only an hour or so away from Reykjavik with scenic routes. Would definitely recommend :)

Luke’s cottage was an ethereal dream. A tranquil cabin along the Golden Circle, with all the amenities you need to be self sufficient. The cabin itself was very clean, and we were so lucky to see the most phenomenal northern lights 4 days in a row, followed by a nacreous cloud all at the cabin. It really was like living in a dream. Luke himself was very responsive to my endless questions. We cannot wait to return thank you for such a memorable stay.

What a special spot! Gísli was a responsive host and the accommodation was simple but perfectly situated to take in the beautiful surroundings. It was comfortable and complete with everything we needed.

het huisje was perfect. alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig en het huisje was al lekker warm toen we aankwamen. we hebben 7 dagen in het huisje gezeten en het was zeker het geld waard.

Our stay at Thordur’s cabin "Elinarhofdi" was all but perfect – only four out of six nights of Northern Lights extravaganza. The cabin is perfectly located, clean and is well stocked with all that we needed as a family group of seven to enjoy the Auroras and the nearby activities. The hot tub is a treat. Thordur’s communication was quick and informative helping us to get the most out of our Icelandic adventure. We would most definitely choose to stay at Elinarhofdi on a return trip to Husafell.

nám se ubytování moc líbilo, poloha super k výletům, klidné místo uprostřed přírody.. k některým ne úplně pozitivním komentářům -v popisu ubytování je psané, že jde o retro chaloupku. ve vybavení nám nechybělo nic, při příjezdu nás čekal domek se zapnutým topením, ještě jsme dali pár polen do kamen a nemělo to chybu.

Helen har gennem hele opholdet været meget tilgængelig. Der manglede fx køkkenknive, dem kom hun med om aftenen. Da der kom orkan ville hun være sikker på at vi kunne komme hjem inden, ellers ville hun have os overnattende. Hun er en helt igennem rar og venlig person

What’s lovely cabin!! Clean, cosy and amazing location for example 25 minutes drive to the secret lagoon or 20 minutes drive to the great Geyser!, possibilities are endless Valla was a great host, she assisted us and helped us when we needed some advice! My children really loved the cabin sometimes they just wanted to stay in and use the hot tub instead of going out!! It was our first time in Iceland and we had a great time!! Thank you V
