We had a wonderful few days in Becky’s lovely cosy cottage. Fantastic location with easy access to the Chatsworth Estate and numerous beautiful walks along Baslow and Froggatt edges and the Derwent River. The cottage was clean, warm and well equipped and the perfect place to return to after a day in the countryside.

We spent Christmas at Rodica's place and she made sure that it felt just like home. She managed to decorate for us and the place was spotless. Communication was great and whenever we had an issue or query she was very responsive and went out of her way to accommodate us. We look forward to another stay soon.

Fox cottage is the most beautiful home in a picturesque setting overlooking stunning views from every window! We only stayed for a weekend but didn't want to leave, it felt so homely and had everything we needed. The hosts Andy and Gina have clearly put in so much thought to the set up and every little thing you could possibly need is provided and more! It was so nice to have everything there already for my 2yo daughter (cot with mattress + linen, high chair, box of lovely toys, even toddler cutlery/crockery). Gina even left us out some chicken feed so my daughter could feed them in the morning and it was the highlight of her weekend! The hosts also saved us from a toddler meltdown when we realised in the morning we'd forgotten her breakfast cereal - a weetabix and porridge delivery within minutes saved the day! They truly do go above and beyond to make your stay as smooth as possible, would highly recommend and definitely return in future for another stay.

Beautiful house that is cosy and unique. We loved staying here and would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable home from home in Derbyshire. Great location and gorgeous views!

Lovely authentic and charming old cottage with real coal fires in the kitchen and livingroom. Comfortable beds and the well equipped kitchen and the generous welcome pack were very much appreciated ! Rita and Jeffrey who live next door were on hand when needed, giving excellent advice and assistance. Such Great characters! We visited Barnsley Sculpture Park and Cannon Hall country Park and Farm shop, both a very worthy visit. The home baking in the Cafe at the Sculpture park is to die for, especilly the scones and Bakewell tarts!

Took the family, kids loved the pool. Hot tub was fantastic. Kitchen well equipped and bathroom was lovely. Only downside was no wifi.

We stayed for two nights. The property was slightly hard to find, but instructions given were helpful. The property was clean and open plan kitchen and large table were great. We had no issues and the hot tub is large enough for 5! We had a great stay and would recommend.

We just visited and had the most brilliant time, the Airbnb was a walk from the Lincoln Centre and upon arrival we were greeted by great hosts who gave us a tour of the property and a few excellent recommendations. The property was perfect for the two of us and squeaky clean! The hot tub was great and very easy to use, we even were able to order takeaway to the cottage despite its quiet and obscure location. The bottle of bubbly left in the fridge for us was a perfect addition to the stay. For any cat lovers special mention for the two propriety cats who we absolutely adored! We would not hesitate to return one day in the future and will be sure to recommend to our friends and family for their own visits.
