This Airbnb is very cozy, spectacularly clean and decorated so nicely! The beds are super comfortable, the shower pressure is perfect and the owners have put a lot of thought and care into this home. I will say, as others have noted that the house is on a corner at a stoplight where there is quite a bit of traffic so road noise is noticeable but not bothersome. There is a sound machine available if that bothers you. We used this Airbnb as a cozy spot for a visit to ISU, and it was convenient to everything. 10/10, great hosts and cozy Airbnb!

This is a pristine apartment in Decatur's old West End. It is on the main level, so the only stairs are outside, up to the front porch. The unit has been completely updated but has not lost its original charm. The area is quiet and safe. Taylor is a wonderful host, and responds quickly. It is within minutes of Millikin University and the renovated downtown Decatur area, with plenty of shops and eating establishments. Highly recommended.

Another wonderful stay! I so enjoy a get away here. Comfortable, clean, relaxing and fun. I love the decorating with so many interesting things. there is a free little library out front and the location is a great place to take a walk. Highly recommend. I will stay again!

First time booking an Airbnb, had a very nice time here

What a great place to stay! We were only in the area for a few days, but we were very thankful we opted for this space instead of a hotel. Great location with a modern and comfortable decor. I wish we would have had more time to enjoy this lovely space.

We were in town for the Gamma Phi circus at ISU and really enjoyed our stay at Black Beauty! The location was so convenient to great restaurants, walkable to downtown and points of historic interest, and a very quick drive to campus and back for the show. The space is beautiful and the black walls made everything feel cozy and a bit mysterious and luxurious at the same time!

My second time at the Silo and it didn't disappoint!

Sheila's upstairs apartment is comfortable, clean, great decor and located above shops downtown Wyoming. She has extra touches, spices, cookware, full size kitchen, washer/dryer AND detergent, coffees and creamer, everything you need when you are away for a few days. This apartment is quiet at night, as the shops below are closed. The area has nice walking options but get groceries before you arrive as it is a small, quaint town. If the weather is nice, you can sit outside on her deck. We were in town for four nights and we would definitely stay again! The host is very responsive and pleasant!

Great location. Very “user friendly” Airbnb home away from home. Kitchen nicely labeled. Nice spaces for gathering - big couch in living room; great deck with lots of nice chairs - and gathering spaces the whole reason we wanted Airbnb. Comfy beds. Nice updated, very clean bathrooms. And when we had an internet issue - host was extremely responsive - and we quickly figured out it was weather related and we’re able to easily resolve. It might not have been the fanciest Airbnb I have stayed at, the steps are old and squeaky, and there is that train track nearby - but the positive aspects of convenience and coziness far outweighed those minor concerns. Not to mention - extremely responsive host. Great weekend.

Great place to stay for a long weekend. Very comfortable and had a great wrap around deck and views from the loft of Peoria Lake. Would stay again if the opportunity arose.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house looked just like it was described in the listing. Everything was clean. The one level house was nice for my baby, who is crawling. The neighborhood is quiet, which was convenient for putting my 2 kids to bed at night. Amy was responsive to the questions I had and provided detailed instructions for check in and check out. It was a short drive to downtown Lincoln from the house.

This is our 2nd stay here and everything was great again. The house has everything we need when we come to visit family! Thanks for another wonderful stay! We will be back!

Really great location. We were able to walk to the capitol, a great bakery, the Abraham Lincoln Museum and a ghost tour, all downtown, and everywhere else we wanted to go was an easy drive. The neighborhood isn't what you'd call pretty -- it's office buildings, parking lots, apartments, etc. -- but it was quiet and we never felt unsafe. The loudest thing was the train that goes by every so often about four blocks away. I think it's legally required to blow its horn in the middle of the city, but maybe not overnight. You can hear it, but it's not obnoxious. The host was great. We had no problems getting in and out and there was plenty of room for our dog as well.

Perfect rental for our holiday trip visiting family! Clean, comfortable, and well-furnished, with everything we needed for our stay. Joseph was great about communication and making sure we didn't have any questions. Would definitely stay here again.

John was super responsive and went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. We arrived late and he even opened the arcades next door after hours so that we could go in and play! We had an amazing stay and my husband is already talking about returning.
