We took our daughter and six grandkids for a three day stay at Eriks house. We had a wonderful time. It is very kid friendly with lots of things for them to do. They all swam a few times in the pool (the heater kept it warm enough for them) and fished for hours every day at the pond. The house really accommodates a large group easily with lots of dishes, utensils, a large dining table, and lots of seating. I recommend this place for families who want to have a great time and build wonderful memories.

These folks are not just Hosts, they are The best Hosts that I’ve used thus far. We checked in a day late due to my work and weather . I asked Ben if I could pay for a late checkout, to let the kids fish since the storms kept us inside.and he wouldn’t take a dime for it. We had the place until 3 if we wanted it. We had Tornado warnings and we in fact did have to get into the safe zone of the house which Lela had made sure to reach out and tell us that location along with emergency supplies and flashlights. Hands down professional, down to earth, and prepared. They set a very high bar!

Plenty of parking, close to needed Boat Launch for tournaments.

Great house and great host! Very spacious house and plenty of room indoor and outdoor for activities. Far enough from the town so you felt in a peaceful and private location with lake access. Close enough to the town if you needed to grab a bite or stop at the grocery store.

Paige’s listing was a perfect Smith Lake getaway! The layout of the home is perfect and spacious. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Paige was quick to respond and provided wonderful communication. I would definitely stay here again!

We had such a great stay at Leapfrog Landing. Best part was how close we were to town. Only 10 minutes to restaurants/shopping/downtown area! You can’t beat that on the lake. The property was beautiful, quiet, super clean & had everything we needed. Tayler was very responsive. Overall a perfect stay. Highly recommend!

A fantastic getaway for families and friends! Great location on the lake and fabulous boat dock with 2 float mats available for use. Highly recommend!!

Once we found the place, it was as nice as it looks. We had no issues getting in and resting for a few hours before departing and getting back on our journey. I wish Google and Apple Maps would direct you to the cottage but they didn’t. I would definitely recommend staying here, I really would like to come back and play the course!

We are very familiar with Smith Lake, so we knew this was a gem. Largely flat with a gentle slope to the water, it was perfect for young kiddos, including elderly. Conveniently located to local shops that had whatever we might need. Older home, but very comfortable and clean! Enjoyed the back deck and covered breeze-way along with the beautiful massive trees, we had plenty of shade to be able to have fun outside on even the hottest of July days. Strongly considering booking again. Loved every minute of our stay.

This was my second time staying at Clayton place. Felt like a home away from home! I’m so happy I found this place and it seems as though it will be my go to when I’m in town visiting family. Super clean and the full kitchen is perfect. The only thing I’ll say is if you have dogs that like to play in the MASSIVE fenced in backyard (one of the best features), the tiny dog next door will be barking pretty much the entire time you’re out with your pup. Wasn’t bothersome to me, but it may to others. Thanks again Clayton for an awesome place to stay!

Had a great stay on the lake! Private getaway but close to Cullman and Birmingham if you want a little city life!
