Beautiful peaceful spot great relaxing weekend

The Hidden Door Bowral Cottage is a delightful home, ideally located near all the amenities and attractions in Bowral. It features two beautifully appointed bedrooms, tastefully furnished, along with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The cottage was impeccably clean and incredibly inviting. Greg and Jo were gracious hosts, and their communication was both prompt and warm. I would highly recommend it to family and friends.

Antonina was a lovely host, who responded straight away to any questions we had. The home was just as described very beautiful with lovely surroundings. We felt so relaxed in this beautiful private surroundings. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully be coming back in Easter.

We had a wonderful stay at Sue and Jeff’s place! We stayed there for 6 weeks and we found the studio to be even better than it looked in the pictures. Very well equipped for long stays (with a good fridge and a washing machine inside the studio that I think were not in the pictures), very cozy and well decorated. Fresh goodies from the garden and composting bin. Walking distance from the beach and good supermarkets and restaurants. And we also got to know Sue, Jeff, the girls, and Daisy 🐾 a little better and we shared very special moments together preparing dinner, watching movies and having good conversations, which was a super plus 🤗 they are a beautiful family, amazing hosts and great friends! We are very grateful for the time we spent there and definitely recommend it!

We had the best weekend at Wombiombi Cottage! The cottage is immaculately clean and so peaceful. We loved sitting on the verandah listening to the birds, with a glass of wine and watching our dog run around the back paddock and enjoy the space. Fran was so friendly and responsive, and welcomed us with homemade cupcakes. We also had one of Fran’s home made dinners which was delicious. The location is fantastic, secluded yet just a 10 min drive to Bowral and Berrima. We already can’t wait to go back, our new favourite place! Thank you for a great weekend Fran! Despite a very wet weekend we loved our stay here! Perfectly located just a short walk to cafes and restaurants in Avalon. Had a very cosy stay in this lovely little cabin. Kate was accomodating and friendly - would love to come back again when it’s sunny

Great place to stay for a refreshing weekend. Melissa very helpful and left us some local treats. Very private and easy to drive into town or a walk to the pub. Good location to explore the highlands.

A perfect weekend stay, incredibly private and with a beautiful view - the sunset on arrival was incredible! The place had everything you need and communication was great! Will definitely be back :)

Honestly could not fault the sanctuary that Steve and Laura have created. The cabin makes you feel at home immediately with the cosy interior and delicious homemade teas. They have thought through every detail with love and care - we would have stayed forever if we could! The location is brilliant, walking / short drives to all the walks in the blue mountains that we were hoping to do and one of the most gorgeous sunsets we’ve seen just a short 15 minutes walk from the cabin. Steve and Laura are incredibly friendly and responsive - leaving you to your own resources if you wish or at hand to help with any queries. Couldn’t recommend enough, thank you again!

Had an amazing stay in Sandra’s tiny home! The scenery and farm animals were a highlight as was the outdoor bath. The tiny home was private, cosy, clean, and had everything we needed. The sourdough and eggs were a lovely touch. Sandra herself was wonderful and responsive. Would definitely recommend!!!

We had a great time at Timothy’s place. It was very clean and cozy. Loved how close it was to both Shellharbour, Kiama and the Minnamurra rainforest.

Extremely generous in making adjustments to our plans as we missed a flight and arrived a day late. Also were particularly considerate about building works in adjacent house.

We had an amazing two nights here for our anniversary and are very keen to come back! The entire home was beautiful and had everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay at Alex’s property and look forward to returning. Stunning, it looks straight from the pages of a magazine. The setting is picturesque and peaceful and it was fun to wake up to the cows and calves outside the window. I loved having my morning coffee outside overlooking the pastures. Alex was great and we appreciated the checkin and check out times. Would definitely recommend a stay at this lovely and well appointed property.

Lee’s Bundeena treehouse was the perfect peaceful getaway. Even though it was a rainy weekend, the place was warm and cosy, hidden away underneath a beautiful tree and with a view of the water. Everything is in walking distance, making it easy to explore the beaches and nearby walking tracks. The spa was also a luxurious touch. Would definitely return!

Rustic meets luxury! Cute cabin nestled in the mountains, you feel like you're away from town, but town was only 5 minutes away. The yard around the place is lovely. Tons of windows which let in light and fresh air. Rustic cabin vibe, but with the comfortable bed, crisp linens, and well-appointed kitchenette, we had everything for a comfortable stay. Just wish we had more time to enjoy it!

We had an amazing stay! The view is stunning from the deck where we spent most of our time. Had a refreshing swim off the private jetty. The fire pit was so much fun. The cottage was cozy and clean with fly screens to keep the mozzies out. It had everything we needed for the weekend. Howard was a very helpful host and arranged a cot and high chair for our baby. Thank you!

Susan’s place was beautifully clean when we walked in. Shiniest floorboards I have ever seen!! The little touches like the cheese platter, milk and eggs were so lovely. The beds were comfy and everything was so lovely. Perfect location for the wineries and for the concert we went to. I would recommend Susan’s place highly! :)

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. I’ve been to ‘private’ airbnbs before but this REALLY was private, photos absolutely cannot do the view justice, and you can practically swim in the outdoor baths. The kitchen is really well equipped. Two things that really stood out for me were: 1)how hot the water came out when you chose full-heat—this is really important for making an outdoor bath comfortable when you have it in the early cool hours of the morning, because the water cools quickly and you need some very hot water to heat it back up or you’ll get cold! I’ve been to a few places with outdoor baths and often the water has been tepid and I’ve felt cold. 2) the tiny home feels significantly more spacious because the bed is ‘upstairs’ I didn’t need to use the heater or aircon while I was there, but I know I could easily have made the house comfortable if I’d have needed it (the weather was perfect during our stay) Loved it. I’ll be back.
